I have done a kidney stone removal (RIRS) surgery by Dr Azhari who is recommended from my wife's friend on 9 October 2024. I would say it was the most pleasant surgery experience I had, from the pre-ops to the surgery to post-ops. Dr Azhari clinic was mended by very capable and responsive nurses (Yong Sheng & team), very polite and patient in explaining the terms, process, paperwork and all. I was reminded and briefed on the documents/fasting instructions a few days prior to the op date by the clinic. It's actually very fuss free, that I do not need to make extra trips down to the clinic or print out any forms, which makes it so pleasant! Thank you again team, if you see my review! The op was an uncomplicated one, Dr Azhari is very experienced and had patiently explained to me on the possible outcomes of the surgery. As my ureter is too small, I had to go admit back to the hospital a couple of times so as to finally laser the stones and removing them out. The stent initially was very uncomfortable, but the medicine he prescribed really made it much easier and relaxing. Dr Azhari would pop by my bed to ask about my well-being everyday while I was warded and even called me pre and post op to check on my well-being, I sincerely appreciate that. He even retrieved a few samples of the stones so that I can pass on to my nephrologist for them to investigate. I am really glad that I chose Dr Azhari to remove the kidney stones and now I can finally put my mind at ease. Thank you and see you again next month for follow up!
