Unfortunately the outcome of the deliverables from Cooler Insights did not manage to capture what my team had envisioned. We do appreciate the time, efforts and guidance provided by Cooler Insights in our journey of brand awareness.
What I see is that there seems to be a communication gap in the vision of what my company should be achieving from the digital campaign. Based on the reports, the various posts created by your team did lead to engagement but it did not convert to any form of sales or walk-in.
Being a professional Digital Agency, "we could try this" or "we could try that" to get the best methodologies implemented should have been clarified and aligned with the vision of my company. This would have led to a better return in terms of increased followers on both My Selection Facebook and Instagram platforms with followers commenting, sharing or liking the posts. Based on the metrics shared, the engament was low and the audience engaging with the advertisements were mainly women above 50 years of age, a wide disparity of the targeted audience.
In terms of conversions, $310 from an existing customer brought in a revenue of just $100 ($310-$200). With a total investment of $6500, the overall returns do not justify the campaigns running. There were hardly any walk-in customers and those who did constituted passers-by. As for the 10 leads generated, only 3 responded to our phone calls with none showing up or wanting to take the conversation further.
Regarding the ROI, we understood after discussing with Cooler Insights that this metric was not a metric Cooler Insights was focused on. This was the explanation of the non alignment between our visions. We were expecting some walk ins or conversion or a projection based on past Cooler Insights' client experience.
I just wanted to share the outcomes of our collaboration with Cooler Insights and provide a clarity of what we hoped to achieve and what we achieved. We did appreciate their work and as of now we will try going with organic reach as Cooler Insights suggested.
