Nice club in the middle of town. They often organize events and gatherings for members. Pretty crowded on a weekday morning, but still relatively quiet. Good amount of cafe, restaurants and shops. They have a pool, pilates studio, bowling alley and tennis court as well.

As a frequent visitor, and a junior member, I can say this is an amazing club. I swim for the TAC swim team, and all my coaches are so friendly and polite! Also, the Central and Tradewinds are an amazing place to get food and drinks. All the staffs are so welcoming and friendly.

I went to Singapore on a business trip between November 6th and November 12th 2022, and one of the dinners I had with senior leadership and our team was at the American Club. I ordered the beef cubes with yakiniku sauce and it was delicious. My coworkers were also very happy with their orders and we enjoyed watching the duck being cut and prepared in front of us. The chocolate dessert was amazing! The whole atmosphere is really nice for fine dinning!

"There are no strangers here; only members who haven't met" Beautiful town club with an extensive selection of facilities. Has four eateries, including one fine dining restaurant. Also has two swimming pools, tennis courts, squash courts, a fitness gym with a dance studio, a bowling alley, and an arcade. Also one of the nicest communities to hang out in Singapore. A diverse mix of cultures come together to make the club an incredible place for leisure as well as business. Particularly well-equipped for socialising is the Union Bar, which is decorated with pendants from the schools and colleges across North America. Overall, a place of happiness.

Ok. However lack is staff in restaurant meant that dinner took too long to serve. It took 3 hrs for what should have been a 90 min meal

Hi American Club, I really want to thank you for trimming your bushes down front. It really does make your sidewalk appear bigger. Here I thought your sidewalk was always small until now. Really enjoy it. Keep up the trimming.

This being a members club is one of our best investments. Not only has the price risen significantly over the years, the staff are the best in this world. They know us and our preferences. We are like family. Service is second to none and they always make us feel so welcome. Thank you to the Management & staff for making this our 2nd Home.

We had an amazing Christmas Eve lunch at the 2nd Floor with family. The staff go out of their way to make the experience great for members and their guests. They even remember if you prefer your water warm. Their service with a heart runs throughout the American Club - from F&B, Aquatics, Library, to the Quad games room, with their young staff patiently troubleshooting Minecraft for my kid (parents would understand my gratitude for this help ;)

My parents acquired membership a month before I was born about thirty years ago. So I spent a lot of my childhood here and I remember the Club in those days fondly as a completely fun place with a lively atmosphere. You were submerged into American culture from the moment you walked in, leaving every other world and culture behind you. Sadly, I can't say the same for it now. Like many others, I don't feel the last major renovation was an improvement in any way. The worst of all, however, is that it has become less a place for Americans to congregate and more a place for rich Asians to parade their newfound wealth. The food and particularly baked goods at the small café are of quite deplorable quality though I do welcome the freshly-pressed fruit and vegetable juices on the menu. Service is good, as always.

I am currently a Junior Member of the American Club and honestly its a great club. But, some of the renovations that they have made, I didn't really like. Since, I liked the old American Club prior to the renovations where they had a huge space for games that included a gaming room, bowling ally, function room and many more. Plus, I also liked the old pool setup where they had 1 kiddy pool with a slide, and a huge pool. But, because of the renovations, there is less space for the gaming room the quad, less space for the swimming pool and more. However, I understand that this was all done for there to be more space for other things. But, overall the American Club is great and has a great social environment, however I liked the old American Club before the renovations. No hate to the American Club though.

Came with a member for Taco Tuesday. First went to the pub and it definitely had an American feel to the place. Good selection of beers, and some nice appetizers. Then up to the pool area for tacos. I liked the brisket and asada, but honestly they were all nice.

Gym has excellent equipment, but no windows. Food is mediocre at most outlets (therefore three stars), especially the buffet restaurant. Poolside food is slightly better. Beers at the bar are pretty good but the bar atmosphere is a bit sterile and the service impersonal. Pool itself is small but is undergoing renovations soon.

how to describe it... a bit non-descript ambience inside and outside. even when within the lobby is fairly crowded. Cafe food was okay but affordable at S$23.80. Biggest peeve - oh entitled 2 coffees per buffet payer. If not for meeting my American aunt - I don't fancy this for a nice weekend eating place. Pool area okay. Meeting rooms - okay.

Food is soso. Hav buffet n alar cart. Non member is only allowed to be brought by member on certain days. No parking 4 non member. Located in center n a lot of western ppl eating n meeting there. Quite crowded normally.

Quite a nice place for hanging out with family. They've also got a business centre at level 3, in case you wish to have meetings while you're spending the day there. This is, however, a members only club

MY favourite club for their salad bar buffet and they have the best burger in Singapore for the price point. The union bar a great place to eat pop corn and have a few cheeky drinks after work. The parties here on special occasions are really fun and an experience. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor has amazing fine dining. They also have one of the best char siew, wasabe prawns and crab meat fried rice in Singapore.

Although the name was American Club, most of the dishes chosen by the members present were Chinese. ☺ We also had Peking duck and enjoyed our first overseas business trip in a while!
