Reviews of Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre (HYC)
Very serene and calming place to be. Despite an ongoing event outside, the cafe is well much sound proofed.
Overlooking the Yishun pond, it's a quiet respite from the hectic world.
Beautiful and awesome environment to hang around 😊
Exams period are around the corner and students came here to study with free WiFi and PowerPoint.
There are vegetarian food and stalls too! 😋
Loved the ambience of this cafe - relaxing vibes that we loved - simply let time slip by over a pot of tea/ cup of coffee and some nice small bites and fantastic view of sunshine our there.
Amazing calm relaxing place to spend by yrself or w frens There are study areas w tables n chairs There r 3 cafes n a chinese bookshop Was there late at nite but wld love to visit The Slow Bakes cafe for breakfast n The Real Food Cafe for Lunch n Dinner There r also community projects on display n for others to participate in Lots of toilets n cold n hot water dispensers too Free n all r welcomed👍

New and nice quiet place. There is a function hall, a vegetarian cafe, shop selling vegetarian stuff, area to collect donated clothing and a big area with desk for people to just sit around.
Spacious zen place. Good for studying. Airy. Nice place to chill. Got cafe nearby.
Nice place to walk around. Like the Zen style. Comfortable.
I like the wooden architecture here, and the calming vibe.
There is a free studying/working space, but it is open-air, so it’s not air-conditioned.
There are three F&B places (all vegetarian): Real Food (a vegan restaurant and café), Slow Bakes (a open-air café and bakery) and Jing Si Books & Cafe (which serves lots of teas, and is also a Chinese bookshop).
Brautifuly designed space. A well needed Oasis of calm in the busy town of Yishun. Location is perfect and it suits the purpose just right. I wish all towns had such spaces. Work place , book corner, fresh bread, real food , cafe, pilates &Yoga overseeing the park , conference hall and expo. Thank you.
A nice place to calm our mind and enjoy the ambience🔅🔆✨
Used to be the old site for yishun polyclinic but since became a tzu Chi site. It is in great a chill place. There is an area for just sitting and doing work (no more vying for places at library or cafes). There are studios for fitness classes, classrooms for whatever and a big hall for events. But maybe those are all affiliated to tzu Chi. There are themed exhibits around the area and a couple of food places too. Very Zen area if you just want to be there at the moment. For a commoner, it can also be a hangout place next to the park and pond!
Well designed community space with yoga and pilates rooms overlooking Yishun pond. 2 cafes and open spaces for studying. There was Greentree children’s art exhibition ongoing. Also, Zero Market on 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. Tzu Chi foundation also helps provide education to Syrian children👏🏻
2 chill cafes, one of which sells religious books, vegan products and tea. One big study area in the middle, a bit hot as only has fan but it is spacious with multiple power sources. Sign up for paper-making classes with 3P community arts lab
a very lovely & peaceful place for all, great location right by Yishun pond. despite its religious origins, Tzu Chi warmly welcomes people of all religions & races to come gather, rest, and dine.
Everything about this place is unique and interesting, with there being a peaceful scenery that is brought about by the Yishun Pond. I got to have my meetings here before.
At real food. The foods are delicious 😋 and nice place for chilling
Very inspiring venue for youths, tranquil and filled with positive activities to participate in. The JingSi cafe and Real Food is a great place to chill out.
A place to chill in peace, the cafe is a must to explore.
Quite .. calm ... smiley faces...
Nice
wonderful place
A good place for holiday/weekend leisure. There is a large outdoor park and a beautiful book-scented environment indoors. I stopped to take photos and upload them when I was running. The administrator informed me that "the indoor restaurant is open and the courses can be registered in November". Don't miss it if you pass by.
Various measures make people feel warm, and the surrounding environment is beautiful, 🈶pool trees🌳forest, perfect coordination,...like it👍👍👍
