Reviews of Dessert Bowl
Durian mousse is good. Mousse taste nicer than the durian. But when mixed, taste even better. Didn’t need double shots. $6 per bowl. Contains finely blended ice. Texture is totally worth a try
Staff was very kind when my child cried. She offered gummy bear but we didn’t allow sweets. Still appreciative of her thoughts
Not a durian lovers, so ordered the peach gum white fungus dessert. It taste so refreshing, the sweetness is perfect.
Only the downfall is the place isnt soundproof, hence very noisy. Also the staff should be more patience, already rush customer for payment eventhough we havent finished the dessert.
Smell of Durian.. I would only recommend durian dessert
The only place with yummy , value for money desserts. Good variety and guaranteed satisfying.
The durian mousse legit is nice! We ordered the double shot! Must come back again. 😇
Best place for durian dessert in Singapore! But actually not only durian dessert. I always order durian mousse, but this time I tried lychee dessert with topping. Their coconuts ice cream also not bad! Anyway durian mousse is a MUST. I brought some Japanese friend who never tried and they also said it’s nice.
We usually come here for the durian mousse. However, we tried the strawberry and apple crepes this time. A bit underwhelming. The mango and fruit pudding was nice and recommended. There is a 45 minutes table seating limit to allow others to come in. The entrance has these miniature sets which are quite intriguing.
nice and cosy place for dessert. the tea is nice too. went for the durian mousse. very delicious and thick paste. easy to eat.
good for youngsters to hangout. they do limit 45 min per table.
probably not great for physical disabilities cos need to climb the stairs. also quite difficult to find parking space. decor quite cute.
If you're making the trip here, just get the durian mousse, can't go wrong with it.
Late-night treat. This restaurant serves up the best Durian Mousse
Dessert is just always consistently good here. Been here multiple times.
Rating: 3.5 / 5 stars
🤩 : Durian mousse
🤧 : Queueing duration, strawberry mountain
Visited this highly raved spot recently on 1 Jan. The queue was just as expected - long. Although I arrived fairly fairly late (10+pm), there was still a strong virtual queue ahead of me - 18 tables exactly. For reference, the wait was approximate 40 minutes. Upon seating, we were requested to place our order through a numbered QR ordering system. At this timing, a large number of items were already sold out - this includes many non-durian options.
My party ordered three different items. Double shot (durian) was “amazing” “smooth” and “high quality”- claims my durian eaters. I had the pleasure of trying out two non-durian products - the strawberry mountain and mango mountain (if I got the names right). Both were very similar and only differed in terms of the toppings and sauce. The mango version had perfectly ripen mango pieces and an overall flavourful and sweet sauce. The strawberry version was unpleasant and full in comparison. The strawberries were tiny and incredibly sour. The sauce made the bowl seem like desserts for kids.
Frankly, I wouldn’t be back and I would certainly hesitate should I have to accompany my friends here again.
Mango sago pomelo is 👍🏻 good, fresh mango fruits and overall not to overly sweet. Recommended to add on ai yu jelly really goes very nicely with mango dessert.
Durian mousse was superb delicious, taste like eating actual fruit itself and not overly sweet too.
Went there on weekdays Thur night, not too crowded.
Had waffle with ice cream and fruits, chocolate lava cake and plain fruit salad. Except the fruit salad, we liked the other two. Chocolate lava cake along with the ice cream tastes really great. We went around 5 PM on a Sunday and there was no queue and rush. Liked the place, desserts and the price. Will go again to try more dishes.
The durian mousse is good. Got the durian snow mountain cause it comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Place is really crowded and noisy cause of the concrete walls. Queuing is via an online system so it's pretty convenient
Quite solid dessert. Feel like i am in a back alley HK dessert shop. Not overly sweet. Taste is gentle, with distinct tastes of ingrdient each bite, but not bland
Durian Mousse double shot is highly recommended, they use real flesh as topping and its so fragrant and price is very reasonable. Always full house whenever i visit, very shiok post dinner dessert.
Durian mousse here is one of the best. A decent amount of real durian.
Mango sago is so so only.
Environment and store setting is slightly cramped and as there arnt many large tables, waiting time can be considerable during peak.
Sesame and almond paste was decent, while walnut taste was off.
Overall decent place for dessert if you are in the area.
I dont really eat durians so if i tell you this is good, it means it’s really worth the try. Pretty packed, but just wait, you wont regret.
Very unique dessert shop tucked in a 2nd floor of shop house. Wide range of desserts available. The moment you walk in the shop, you will smell the durian which is their signature dessert.
Many fruity items available and it's very popular with all ages and all walks of life. Air conditioned environment. Also have art models of food stalls from hong kong on display in the shop.
Desserts lovers, please fall in.
desserts is always good ! I love the mango and durian snow mountain . It never disappoints me. However , The caramel pudding isnt nice . it taste like egg;-;
My top dessert place to go to, but I only go there for its double shot durian mousse. Thick, creamy and fragrant and it made me ooo whenever I eat it! 🤩
Recommended to go there during durian season to get the best quality of the dessert.
The shop is located on the second floor of a shophouse, and is only accessible by stairs. If you are bringing elderly, please do consider this. If not, dabao will be a better choice. 👍🏻
Very delicious dessert!! Must try the durian double shot and mango aiyu !
This is my family's favourite dessert place. Their durian dessert is something that you wouldn't want to miss. It tastes so good and not too sweet too. The double shot durian is as good as eating the fruit itself. Ordered the durian snow mountain which comes with a scoop of ice-cream. It was so so good. The queue for this shop may be long but it is worth the wait. Just scan the QR code to get a queue number and you'll be informed when the table is ready for you. The kiwi sago is just as amazing too. For those who prefer a tinge of sour taste, this dessert bowl is for you. Mango pomelo is our favourite too. Take a look at the pics. They all look so good!
Delicious dessert.
Duriant is the favorite.
Mango also like.
The place is not big, so need que
Very solid durian mousse!!! It’s so thick and creamy!! 🤤🤤 taro crepe was ok, orh nee was thick and smooth but I think I don’t really want it with crepe~
The durian mousse is a must-try! During peak hours (after dinner) it's very crowded! Very small space. Aiyu jelly is nice too. Mango sago is too sweet.
Located on the second floor. Decor is simple and nice. A heaven for durian lovers. The signature 'Durian Mousse' is a must try! Smooth mousse top with durian flesh.
Durian Mousse here never fails to bring a smile to your face. Consistent through the Seasons!
Recommend getting double shot if you’re a durian lover.
For non-durian lover friends, even my friends who hates durian tried this and fell in love all over again! Do come! But beware of crowd.
** Please do not attempt the other things on menu, such as the egg custard thing... it was so bad... Just stick to durian mousse.
** Tried the coconut jelly durian, it’s a bit small for its price, but not too bad.
The dessert are variety, the durian dessert durian not really fresh I cannot accept. Others dessert average taste . Too sweat I recommend to have less sweat will be good.
Decent dessert place, but comes with queue always…and strong durian smell in the shop.
Long queue after dinner hours but the queue moves quite fast. I ordered the famous durian mousse which was really very yummy. I also ordered caramelised steamed milk and that was okay. The shop also has cute decoration of miniatures
Lone, young waitress was very professional, busy serving the overcrowded and (damn) noisy shop..
Durian mousse had a decent durian taste but was too icy.. texture definitely wasn't a mousse.. (better options out there)
Black glutinous rice was microwave heated and not even served hot, just barely lukewarm (probably store/ supermarket bought)...
Went on a sunday night. Crowded place, needed to wait at least 30min. Tried the durian mousse double shot at 6.50. Worth it if you're a durian lover. My table also ordered jackfruit sago; and mango aiyu jelly, both are good as well.
Can be very loud. Quite understaffed during peak hours. It's the best durian dessert in SG! Highly recommend durian mousse and mango pamelo.
Why isn't anyone else selling this?! Delicious bowl of durian mousse price at $5 - $6 single/double shot. Great to go if you miss durian during off durian season. But now durian is cheap. You should go and eat some real durian!
Too long queue, so opt for take away. Mixed fruit milk pudding tastes good, reminded me of the HK milk pudding dessert. Sago dessert was tangy and appetising. Fruits were fresh as well. Will go again
Durian mousse is one of their best seller. Indeed, it’s worth trying. However, this round the durian was not as “fragrant” as compared to the round i tried. It could be the different durian season.
Best dessert found at the heart of Serangoon gardens. An Unforgettable Delicious Durian Mousse ever tasted 😋
Delicious durian dessert - durian mousse and durian crepe. :) usually crowded after lunch and dinner, it was fairly uncrowded at 330pm.
Most favorite durian mousse in SG - always coming back for more
I need my weekly durian mousse fix right here at 一碗甜品. Walk in, no need menu, just proclaim "Double shot, 两碗" . NO other durian dessert place in Singapore comes close at all. Tried so many, and none can even come close. If you are looking for a quick durian fix (not the gorge yourself happy durian craving) then come here, this place will fix you up happy.
If you are a lover of the King of Food, durian, then the durian mousse right here will definitely fulfill your appetite.
Bustling and excellent vibe! Very cooling and efficient service.
Super nice desserts, offer hot and cold. Might be slightly pricey but worth it. Durian and mango are super good.
Sometimes got long q but always worth the wait. Came back multiple times and brought many friends here, all have enjoyed it! My go-to dessert place when I'm in the vicinity. Sometimes might come all the way down just for it.
Don't usually splurge on desserts but this is one of the dessert places I would recommend despite the price. Perfect for dessert after dinner at chompchomp/in the vicinity!
Durian Mousse is da bomb here! super nice, tho a bit pricey.
Very authentic Hong Kong dessert experience, i.e. very good dessert (the durian stuff is especially great), with very bad service. The staff are snappish and impatient, just like the dessert shop staff you encounter if you're actually in Hong Kong. Unless you stay in this location, it's probably not really worth a trip all the way here just for the dessert. Unless you're a Hong Konger and you really miss being snapped at by rude staff 😝
Love the coconut jelly durian dessert! And their durian mousse really has the real durian chunks inside. Worth a try!
Love their durian & mango Aiyu. Will definitely come back again. Even on weekend need to queue a bit
Like the durian dessert very much. Must try if you are a durian lover. Can be quite pack during peak hours.
Mango sago is too sweat, but the other 2 desserts are very yummy
Yummers 😋
Pictured:
- Durian Mousse, Double Shot 👍🏻
- Aiyu Mango 👍🏻

I LOVE THE DURIAN MOUSSE SO MUCH 😍😍 my must have every time i am around serangoon gardens!!
I love how smooth and creamy-texture the mousse is because a few other durian mousse I tried in SG has ice bits inside which ruins it 😤
Came here in the day, not as crowded and pressuring eating here in the evening. Had the milk custard and black pearl Coco jelly.
Great dessert selection here! Can get quite noisy due to the enclosed space. Nonetheless, great for a post-meal indulgence!
No need much intro. Located at level 2. Easy to find as there is a long queue. Unfortunately inaccessible for people who are wheel chair bound.
Very tasty though a bit pricy but worth it
It is usually crowded at night. The durian moose is a must try, do go for the additional durian flesh. It is definitely worth the money. Tip: if you don't mind eating along the road on benches or at home, you will be able to cut the queue when ordering takeaways :)
I would do anything for their durian mousse double shot, it's amazingly good & satisfying. Occasionally, there'd be a long queue but it's worth it & you don't usually have to wait a really long time despite how intimidatingly long the queue can get. A must try!
One of my must go places in Singapore to get the Durian Dessert, its rich and creamy packed with flavors yet very smooth and light to enjoy 5 bowls of it. Highly recommended!
Find it pretty funny that the Shop is listed wrongly on Google. It's not a desert! It's a dessert shop! Anyway, shall trying remember to request for an edit when I'm back in the states.
Yum yum yum! Nice place to chill and enjoy delicious dessert.
A cute little cafe tuck at the back of the main serangoon gardens street. A tiny entrance that leads you up to a noisy bustling cafe. You could smell the whiff the durian even before pushing the door. Definitely not for those who are non-durian lovers.
We were there around 7pm, was fairly empty and quiet. It's a strange order process. Best to get up on your feet and head over to the cashier. Think they are a cash only establishment.
We ordered a durian mousse and a mango pomelo. Recommend to have the mango pomelo before the durian as the durian will overwhelm your entire taste bud. Both were super yummy, thick and delicious.
When we were half way through our dessert, probably 730pm by then, it suddenly became really busy and noisy. All tables were taken and a queue forming. Due to the structure of the cafe, noise get trapped in the shop and it can get quite unbearable especially with the shrieking laughters.
Great place to hang for awhile after dinner.
Super crowded with long queue during weekend. Take away is fast. Durian moose double shot is a must try. $6. Not expensive at all. Durian pancake is disappointing.
Super tasty Durian Dessert
Great service. Awesome desserts! Service is phenomenal; staffs are empathetic to customers' view about the long queue and suggested takeaways for customers who have queued a long time. Not a very challenging place to find. Great cafe ambience.
Nice food. Great place to go to after having dinner at Chomp Chomp
Durian mousse double shot was superb. It also has real durian meat in it. Definitely worth it !
Nice ambience and desserts.
The durian mousse, double shot is a must try but be prepared to queue for awhile if you visit in the evening
Good service for dining in and take away too ! Best place for durian dessert, double shot :)
Good quality and tasty local / HK-inspired desserts at decent prices and cosy atmosphere
I found out that the business would resume today. As a dessert lover, I flew here right after dinner to eat🍈🍈
Delicious desserts and the service was wonderful, thank you very much for everything, we had a great time.
My favorite was the coconut jelly with flan 😍
Wonderful experience!!!
I'm not a fan of Durian, but this is definitely the best place to try it. The desserts are delicious and although it can be crowded, it is worth it.
Congratulations to the owner, all the staff were very friendly and I highly recommend the flan with coconut jelly!
A delight!!!! I wish I could spend more days in Singapore to return!
A place recommended by a Singaporean friend. Durian mousse is really delicious… If you like durian, definitely give it a try.
A new world of desserts~ It’s really delicious ^^
The taste is very fragrant!
Durian moose is the best!!
