Reviews of Homies Bakery
Bread is soft and fluffy, their pies are buttery nice, cakes just the right amount of sweetness for me. :) Service generally is ok, but the workers can smile more to look friendlier. I do notice that there are flies near the bread, they do try to avoid it by having the lamp that kills flies and mozzies, but can't 100% prevent it.
Exciting to find a local bakery that bakes traditional Chinese biscuits besides the usual breads and buns! The Beh Teh Saw is one of the best I have tasted, and, best of all, it is freshly baked so you get to eat it warm. I can't wait to try the rest of their biscuits including the yummy-looking egg tarts.
Really thankful to live nearby, our family buys their pastries at least twice a week. They wouldn't last more than 2 days, super yummy and fresh! The bread items are average but good enough.
Yummy cakes! Definitely recommend! $1.50 for each piece and $7 for 5 pieces. It is not sweet for a non-sweet lover like me. Eat it on the same day for freshness.
Delicious beh teh soh and tau sar piah sold here. I'm usually not a big fan of beh teh Soh but Homie's version is the best I've ever tasted. Way better than prepacked ones. The curry puff sold is also very good.
Staff are friendly as well.
Love the pastries😋😊
