Reviews of Nicher
Located at Brooks.
This store didn’t have any signage. Just a big wooden stand stating “Nicher”.
You couldn’t miss this store. The store always had its door opened, you could enter with no pressure to buy. Just concerned that it wasn’t environmental friendly, to have opened doors for an air-con place.
The range of the pastries was limited- only 4 to 8 items at each time. The price was considered reasonable by my friends.
The pastries were considered above average.
Quite tasty.
Seemed like a decent place to go to enjoy pastries.
Maybe after the covid situation had improved, we could enjoy a cup of tea with warm pastries.
Strongly recommended!
Totally love their croissants! It’s so so good! Crusty and light yet buttery goodness in each one. We had the Almond, Classic, Kouign Amann, Pain au Chocolat and Pain aux Raisins… family loved every piece totally. Super duper happy to have them near to me now!
Patient and friendly peeps too!
Friends tried and we all agree it is way better than TBB
ice chocolate was a bit small and there were no pastries in the early afternoon
Love the croissant..mini one Very cute too..eat With milk but donut can skip.
Tried the bakes at Nicher today and it was so good! Orange choc croissant and kouign amann were perfectly buttery and flakey! Matcha lattes were a hit as well as their hot white.
Simple industrial layout though not visible from the outside other than a wooden signage.
Got the kouign amann and pain aux raisins. Found the KA a little bread-y as compared to those I’ve had. Pain aux raisins were just ok. Will come back and try the rest of the viennoiseries.
Delicious bakes. Went there 3days in a week just to satisfy cravings. Reasonably priced too!
Flaky, buttery pastries that kept well. Brought them home and reheated in the toaster oven the next day
Tried the green tea with red bean sponge cake. Consistency of the cake is good. The flavor of the cake is marvelous without being overpowered by the sweetness of the red bean. Definitely taste great when the cakes are fresh from the oven but it still taste good after left at room temp.
Finally, a shop that sells good viennoiseries that is located in the North! The last few croissants were snapped up by the couple before me so I didn’t get to try. I love that the kouign amann is a smaller version (as compared with TBB) and it was so crunchy? I couldn’t resist bagging a few more home. This bakery is a gem.
Pros: Delicious coffee and pasty selection. Wonderful baristas!
Con: Wish it opened earlier than 11am
Great place for that quick pastry and coffee fix. Yummy buttery croissants!
The baked goods are really tasty! We really like the croissants. Matcha latte and drip coffee is good too!
This place is a gem. Love the croissant , matcha croissant, chocolate orange croissant and other bakes.
Nice pound cake and muffins sold at affordable price with just the right level of sweetness! 👍👍👍
These guys know their bakestuff. I love me a good kouign-amann and theirs is not bad at all (at least, this side of Brittany.) Worth a visit.
Excellent classic viennoiseries such as the Almond Croissant and Kouign Amann. They tend to sell out quite early.
Walked to this quaint little coffee shop and saw a cake shop. Got to know try 1 to find out if you like it.
We had the banana walnut and it is YUM. So easy to finish a whole loaf!
One of the best croissants and filled doughnuts!
Love fresh bakes
Yummy and delicious
