Delicious roast pork belly, but thought the cheese sandwich and meat pizza were average. Craft beers were also good, and self ordering and paying system was convenient. Not much of an atmosphere on Saturday night when we were there (could have just been a once off though).

We stepped in late on a Saturday night, just in time to order a pizza and beers for two deprived parents who rarely have a date night out. Hands down, one of the best margherita pizzas I've had. The fruity beers we ordered were a perfect compliment. Will definitely return for their daily specials from Sundays to Thursdays. Thanks Malthouse, Burrrrp!

Nice al fresco restaurant to grab few beers with friends. They have a good variety of beers on tap. They also have a few non-alcoholic beer options. We only had the truffle fries to nibble on but I wasn't a big fan as they were thick cut and there wasn't a lot of truffle in it.

Good choice of craft beers, with a happy hour. Mainly forgettable fastfood, to put a bottom under the drinks. The screens with the beer menu scroll way too fast - slow down and give guests the time to read which beer to choose next. We got unlucky during our visit with some rowdy British expats, spoiling the atmosphere.

Had a quick read to see why the ratings are not higher. Seems there have been a few misses particularly with delivery and possibly during pandemic. My experience was very positive. Food was all well cooked. Nice to have quality truffle fries rather than the shoestring ones. Pizza’s we’re well cooked and beer was nice. We were a group so I’m not sure of the price, but no complaints on quality, quantity or service. Not sure if this is a restaurant or a bar with food - seems like a bar and not suitable for a family with 4 kids under 10 on a Friday night…

My favourite bar! The owner is always friendly and the food is good too. I love the fourpure beer and the pizzas and the seafood pasta. The atmosphere is super chill and homely and warm. It's the go-to-bar for my husband and I from since we were dating. DOUBLE THUMBS UP!! 👍👍

There was a good selection of craft beers at affordable prices but quality of food was quite wanting. The cheese burger I had came with bits of bones in the patty and the fries were dry and lacking in flavour. Quite a disappointing dinner as much more could be done to improve the quality of the food served and I wanted so much to love the place given the chill vibes and good service. Would still recommend the place for their quality selection of craft beers available but maybe come with a half full stomach

Been coming to Malthouse a number of times, beers are still as good, wide and interesting choices with decent prices especially during happy hour. However the food is a different story, the ingredients used has been dropping in quality. First was the poutine, it changed from pulled beef to minced beef, while it was not a good change, it was still acceptable although I still preferred the original version. Their burger has always been one of the better ones around, especially on Monday night when you can get a burger for $10 with purchase of beer. However last night, there was a big change in the ingredients used for the $10 burger, the bun used was different, it was dry whereas previously, the bun used was soft and buttery, the patty is thin and salty and there is no onion ring. Basically, it tasted no difference from a basic burger at a fast food restaurant. Also the poutine I ordered last night had hardly any cheese, just gravy and minced beef.

Good selection of beers. The dry cider was far from dry (for that there are better places in Singapore). The food is a mixed bag: the tacos are rather tortillas, but taste great (pork version); the fried potatoes are nothing special while the Wednesday chicken wings were simply awful: no marinade of any kind nor any batter, just thrown in the frying oil resulting in a lack of taste bar some strong poultry smell. Using dipping sauces didn't save the wings.

Poutine fries were delicious! The sauce was tasty and the cheese pull and taste so satisfying. Fries were perfectly crisp and fragrant. Fantastic beer food - would come back again to order this along with beers!

I chanced upon this place one late evening. It really true that some of the best things in life happen to you unexpectedly! If you love beer and gin, that's the place to go here in SG! The selection of craft-beers is astounding and the gin they offer, an artisanal one from Scotland, is actually one of the best, if not even the very best I have ever drank in my life. I wish I could buy a few bottles of that gin to keep at home with me! The pizza is also very good and goes quite well with the beer. The staff is friendly, professional and quite relaxed. Five stars are not enough for this place!

Good cheap craft beers @ $10 nett happy hours daily before 8pm. Premium beers @ $12 nett. Cheapest craft beer in SG! Tues pizza nights @ $10 nett per pizza is great! 4 stars instead of 5 because its quite smoky (cigarette smoke) at outdoor alfresco area from 2 rows of smoking tables at the end & from Georges next door. Oftentimes, smokers smoke at non-smoking tables too. Doors are open so smoke gets to indoor area. And smoke gets in from rear too. Maybe kitchen staff smoking behind? Maybe management should install more high powered fans outdoors to disperse the smoke, smoking only at designated smoking tables & smokers at rear should move further away?

Easties NEED to come here. There's a decent selection of craft beers (personal favorite is the St. Austell Proper Job) and a fairly yummy menu. $10 pizzas on Tuesdays, $15 mussels (not overcooked! Very juicy) and big couches... Gotta love it. This is a personal go-to favorite. Street parking is limited but not impossible and it's far from the madding crowd of Siglap. Absolutely winning if you love your beer. 🍺
