Reviews of Platform 1094
This is not some gimmick restaurant. The food and cocktails were all fantastic and at reasonable prices served by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team. A must do dining experience for any Harry Potter fan.
Came here to celebrate our company Christmas lunch, was unsure what to order for my drinks and I told the service crew to surprise me. I am very impressed (added video for reference)! Food was good, the truffle fries is good, portion is huge and good for sharing. I love it when cafe gives like huge portion of sauce.
Food was good, atmosphere was good, service was top notch! Will definitely be back again!
Cute place serving interesting dessert and drinks. Will warm the cockles of your heart if you are a vivid harry potter fan.
Their main dishes have good portion n tasted ok. Note Crab meat pasta was rather spicy. Reserve before gg. Can be quite full
This cute Harry Potter themed restaurant served amazing food that is not typical Asian cuisine. The decorations and photo spot all filled with Harry Potter costumes and props makes this place very fun and unique. Definitely will come back, not because I'm a fan of Harry Potter but also for the food! Service and staff are really good as well.
A nice Harry Potter theme cafe that puts in effort into the decor and menu. Food (salmon and French toast) is nice and reasonably priced. Drinks and desserts are a little more pricy but that’s expected in such a cafe right? The $15 cake looks pretty and comes with dry ice! Service is good too!
The aesthetic and ambience of the cafe is amazing. The service is top notch and super quick even though it was a busy weekend. The food is very well presented and focus on the flavour is amazing Example, Three broomsticks fire whisky half-chicken has bbq but it has whole cloves that add a new dimension to taste buds. Normally themed cafes are just about fan-experience but this one is definitely different. The prices aren’t exorbitant so it’s worth the value.
Interesting place for dinner with the Harry Potter theme. Service friendly. Food is ok. The pork ribs is worth a try as it sauce is quite unique. Crab aglio was so so as I didn’t think the smoked salmon went well with it.
Husband took us here for our wedding anniversary. Food was delicious, normally we don’t expect much from themed dining but this blew our expectations.
Many children running around but i can’t fault them for having fun. Many props for picture taking opportunities.
Only negatives was it was hard to reach this place when raining, we ended up paying 50 bucks for our cab ride from south to north for our 7pm reservation.
Update 7 June 2022: Came here for lunch again with 2 friends. Can see patrons from another table having a good time dressing up with the props and taking photos. Food is still good.
Restaurant with an interesting wizardry decor. The food is quite good. Staff is attentive and knows the menu well. Came here for lunch with my colleague around 12 noon. Even though I made a reservation, the place is not crowded. I suppose the few advice to make reservation are for dinner and weekends? I had the crab meat pasta and my colleague had the salmon. For drinks, my colleague had tea while I ordered the secret potion - blue liquid with rum set on fire. There is a small open air car park behind the row of shops.
Nice little cozy place for afternoon tea. I am there for an early dinner. The portion was generous. The beetroot soup was delighting and delicious. Pasta and the lamb was acceptable and I can feel they have put in the effort to prepare them. Some little magical cocktails worth a try but mostly I feel abit too sweet for me. Overall being a Harry porter fan this is the one and only the best you can find in Singapore
Food was so-so only, not fantastic. But my kids were engaged mixing the mocktail.
Great ambience with Harry Potter theme decoration. We came early when the shop just opened, so got some time for photo taking without queuing for our turn.
Place is not big though.
There is an open space carpark just behind the shop.
Crab aglio super salty, choc cake mediocre
Not value for money
Cool interior & cozy atmosphere. For drinks , We ordered the Violet’s Troll Dream & House Fans , both came with magical effects that’s super pretty & definitely great for photos . For food wise , we tried the Lamb Shoulder & Crab Meat Aglio Olio. Portions were huge. Lamb Shoulder was juicy and tender, sides that came together such as corn & mash potato were nicely seasoned as well. Crab Meat Aglio olio was super delicious as well & moreover I was able to adjust the spice level accordingly to my own preference. To end it off, we got Sweet Treats for desserts , portions were jus right for us and it also came with special effect. Prices were reasonable and definitely worth it !
The photo taking set up is so cute. Harry potter robes , scarfs , hats and wands were provided for photo taking which I thought was really thoughtful . staffs even offered to take photos for us !
Customer service was amazing . Staffs are super attentive and really polite. They know their stuffs well & recommended what’s popular off the menu which definitely did not disappoint us. They also refilled our water without us asking :)
Overall really enjoyed my experience at the cafe!
Based on the theme of famous "Harry Potter" series, restaurant definitely stands differently. Restaurant is small but interesting. They close by 10 pm, so better visit early. Food served is good in taste. One can take opportunity to try robes and wands to feel like a witch or wizard. Restaurant can be easily located, as it is right on the main road.
Fantastic place with fantastic and fun drinks. Lots of dry ice usage to bring out the smoke/fog special effects.
The Mr Lich’s Flaming Brew was both fun and tasty!
Tried the mocha, Mr Leich flaming, truffle fries. Truffle fries has great portions and even truffle mayo. Flaming drink is cool. Need reservations. Nice decor but no harry potter songs though. Have nice background for photo taking but may be taken by other customers. There are also outdoor seats.
First ever Harry Potter themed cafe in Singapore. Ambience is decent and food is good enough. The highlights are their flaming goblet of fire drink, Harry Potter styled dessert treats and pork ribs. After the food, don't forget to don costumes and props and have a photo op with your friends.
very popular place with nice aesthetics, and super good food. I highly recommend the pork ribs and the crab meat pasta as well as the truffle fries. the portion is really big and generous and the mashed potatoes are amazing
Amazing experience! Great opportunity to experience the world of Harry Potter without travelling far. The food is great as well, and the props there are amazing too. But its a shame that there were some careless cuts that broke the wands, it ruins the experience for other customers. But all in all, really amazing!
10 points to Platform 1094!!
Went back with my husband recently.
Food was fantastic! The lamb was cooked really well. Super tender and flavorful. I fell the veggies could have been better though. Also ordered their pesto pasta with chicken. The chicken was good, but nothing to rave over. The pesto though. OMG was it good! Super tasty and creamy. Even cold it was quite nice!
And a special shoutout to Jaz who attended to us that night. The restaurant was quite cold and she noticed it was bothering me. She offered to change my water cup so I could have something warmer to hold. She was extremely pleasant the whole night and super on the ball. Great job!
Great food and service for the most part.
Food is reasonably priced, drinks are a bit more expensive.
Liked the decor and theme.
Staff were great initially but we had to wait a while to order dessert.
Recommend this place for sure :)
Nice ambience for a Harry Porter cum Halloween themed restaurant.
Food are quite good and they have several unique flaming (literally) and "smoking" drinks and desserts.
Food was fantastic and appealing, the prices were also very reasonable and the staff here was very accomodating and friendly. Atmosphere was also very cozy and amazing as well, overall a fantastic place to have a meal at.
This is harry porter theme restaurant, with wizardry ambience that mystifies a unique dinning experience on the evening.
Just look at the picture and you get what I mean.
Btw, make a reservation even on a weekday to get indoor seats
Amazing place for being Harry Potter lovers!
Food was edible
Service can improve.
Impressive drinks (magical)
The crab cakes are interesting, although the portion is small. The desserts are nicely plated. It’s worth a visit for Instagram photos. The quality of food is decent, overall. Small sitting area with about 10 tables indoors for 4 pax or so.
I really love the deco for the place ! Really felt like I was transported to a magical world ! The food presentation was very good too - in line with the whole theme.
Not a very large space, decorations are not super elaborate, pricey but high tea looks good with the pastries and tea sets. Cocktails are fancy and fun
The overall experience of the place is quite pleasing. The kids who love Harry potter are sure to enjoy the place. The menu is quite good and creative. This place is more of an experience than food...
potterhead through and through and loved this place to bits!! very well-executed themed establishment without being too excessive and tacky! plenty of originality & so much fun mixing our own drinks! could also escape the muggle life for a bit and channel my inner witch by donning the hogwarts robes!! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone who wants to yell avada kedavra but finds it socially unacceptable to do it elsewhere lol
The atmosphere is stunning! I feel like I have been transported to Hogswarth! There is a nice library, a fireplace and lots of detailed items that create a magical atmosphere! The food is presented beautifully with atmospheric visual effects! A great place to come with your friends or date!
5 stars! Very happy that the decor was so fun, food was interesting and tasted good too! Staff was friendly, and there was even a fireplace where you have props and costumes to put on for taking photos.
It was quite crowded even on a weekday 3pm. Definitely a fun place both for kids and adults.
Shall not spoil the fun of revealing interesting plating of the food, so just one picture to show its magic - that was tea!
Good food, nice experience, can be better service. Overall price for 3pax. 2mains, 2 sides. Average $150 below.
Fish and chips serving was really big, had Owl the Messenger drink it was really fruity and nice! Nice atmosphere and there are props and photo ops.
Decor has the Harry Potter feel with props and robes available for patrons to take photo with. Food is decent but not mind blowing. If you're in for the novelty of having special effects in your drinks, be prepared to pay at a higher price. If not, then don't bother as these special drinks are actually cheap beverages such as green tea, root beer etc.
The overall ambience of the place is very cozy and chill. Great place to take photos especially if you are a Harry Potter fan. The foods were very aesthetically pleasing and delicious as well. The service was very good and crystal did a wonderful job expanding the menu and she was very polite.
Nice experience to see that the food was done in a creative way.
The portions were big and filling..
Overall a nice place to bring your kids.
Reservation is strongly recommended.
Such an awesome experience!!!! Good food & great atmosphere! The food presentation was fantastic & super fun! We'll definitely be back!
Kids friendly and interesting concept Cafe. Allows you to dress up with their props too. Food’s really good and love their lupicia teas.
What a great Harry Potter homage coffee shop. The drinks were very clever and tasteful. The deserts were great as well.
Everything is so awesome!!! Wahhhhhhhhh
Came for the experience, turned out there's also nice food
but remember to do your reservation
Great portions , and very tasty. And of course, the drinks potions are great to the eyes too!
It is a unique experience of dinning in a Harry Potter movie set up restaurant.
Nice ambiance good food. I would rate the main dish as 4 but the cakes I would rate at 5
A very nice cafe with Harry Potter theme. Reservations is needed.
Prime pork rib is nice and large portion. House drink is nicely present
I don’t get tired of having lunch…
Every time a new experience.
The food, the service and the magic are amazing.
Bit of journey to reach but worth the train journey and walk. Really good food. Recommend the salmon and pork dishes.
Great for harry potter fans
5 stars for the experience and the lovely staff who served us today. The dessert were the highlight of today! We ordered the 3 main desserts but the one that stood out was the "Sweet Treats of the Wizardly World" as it had a good ratio of cake to cream and the presentation was on point. For the mains the "Double Da Bomb Burger" was the underdog dish for sure. But a must get would the "House Elves Special Pork Ribs" soft and delicate meat that fell of the bone. Any potter head would fall in love with this place. Definitely a place to try if you are in the area :)
Stumbled upon this restaurant along Serangoon Road which turned out to be such a magical surprise! Felt transported into Hogwarts. Food was hearty and decently good. The special effects for the food certainly added to the mood of the place. Had The Flying Charm angelhair pasta which came with smoking dry ice (:, the carrot and beetroot soup in a mini cauldron, the House-Elves Special Pork Ribs, and the dragon milk cheese sticks. Loved the place, though it's on the pricier end for meal options on Serangoon Road. Have recommended this place to others and would come again!
A pretty small cafe with nice cakes and HP inspired dishes and drinks
Food like a magic, good service and delicious.....will come back again
Kids friendly place for social gathering and celebrating birthdays.
Visited for lunch on a weekday. When I opened the store door, the world of Harry Potter really opened up. The tea bag for the lunch set had an owl shape, and the soup bowl was also quite elaborate. I ordered lamb, and it was surprisingly large. This is a lunch that will satisfy even men. Actually, if I had had enough stomach, I would have liked to try the signature cocktail, but I gave up.
The food is not bad, but because of the epidemic, I can’t wear cosplay clothes😭😭It’s a pity. But you can use many props to take beautiful photos
The food is delicious and worth the price offered. It is highly recommended to try Butterbeer (they call the Buttebeer drink Mrs Liech Ginger Ale) because many people think that the Butterbeer sold here is much tastier than the Butterbeer sold at Universal Studios or Wizarding World in Japan. Mr Liech Fleming Brew has unique and attractive attractions but must be underlined because it CONTAINS ALCOHOL. Please order Mr Liech Fleming Brew to enjoy its fiery attraction (Inspired by the Goblet of Fire) but it is not recommended to drink it, especially for those who are Muslim because it CONTAINS ALCOHOL.
The power of fairy tale world.
5👍
A must-eat restaurant for locals recommended by a Singaporean friend. It’s really delicious and well photographed. The fish and chips are very fresh and the portions are huge. There’s also a dish called Crab Meat Noodles that’s delicious (I forgot the name! I’ll have it next time) Be sure to schedule your trip when you come to Singapore!
Really cool with Harry Potter cafe and they really thought about their pastries and. The question, however, is whether you actually got a Harry Potter experience. It is worth a visit though.
