Gayathri did my hair styling, make up and saree draping for my wedding in Dec 2021. From the very first contact, she was responsive to texts and calls and quoted her costs very reasonably. I did some cost comparisons with other make up artists and her quotation was the most reasonable. Her sense of professionalism and knowledge is outstanding. This is evident during the make up trial I had with her a few months before the wedding date. She was open to suggestions, flexible and easy to work with. She also recommended a good skincare regime that would help to prep my skin for the actual date. I followed her advice and saw good results. I was sourcing a make up artist for my ROM back in 2017. After looking up on Google and going through the list of local make up artists, I shortlisted Gayathri Menon. She was extremely professional and we arranged for a make up trial where she did normal make up on one half of my face and airbrush the other side just so I could decide on what I wanted. She also matched the foundation colour so well which was a problem with other makeup artist I had worked with in the past. She took note of all the products used and gave me suggestions on what I had to take note of on the actual day. Everyone in my family including my Father who is against make up, loved her work so much. On the actual day of the event, she was punctual and came up with another hairdo on the spot which turned out so well. We had 2 outfits in total for the day and she did the change so quickly including a hairdo change. She also helped my Husband with his hair and face and my Cousin to put on her dress well at no additional cost. I received so many compliments and people kept wanting to know who had done my make up etc. I immediately booked her for my traditional Indian wedding and pre wedding events happening in March 2019 way in advance in 2018 and once again had no regrets. In fact on my wedding day, she changed my second Saree, hairdo including the accessories, makeup and look in a record time of 10 minutes. I’ve worked with her in total for 3 events with 6 outfit changes in total and she’s done my Saree tying within 10-15 minutes. After my experience with her, she dressed my Sister in law up for her temple wedding and my sister up for her indian baby shower as well. She even did my Saree pre pleating for Deepavali and it was amazing; people personal messaged me just to ask how I tied it so neatly! I’ve recommended her to so many people and I will continue to do so! She’s very professional in every way including how she collects the payment- she’s not paranoid and gives you the time to pay up. She’s also a very friendly person by nature and someone who is a pleasure having around! She’s the best I’ve seen in Singapore and very comparable to the celebrity Makeup artists in India because she’s also very fast and talented.
