It's always great to be back to my fave IPL salon. And Munn at the front desk is always very friendly and welcoming, offering a nice warm calamansi tea while waiting for my session. My therapist Pei Lin is always very inviting and take very good care of me and I'd personally recommend you to go there.

The YY nurse is excellent in hair removal technology. In the process of chatting with her, I thought she had been in this industry for many years, but I didn't expect it was only more than a year... I like YY，a lovely nurse, to serve me very much. The price was also very cost-effective. After I went back, I observed my skin condition. The effect was really obvious. I would definitely come back to find the YY nurse. The front desk service staff was also very enthusiastic, with a good smile and a comfortable environment. It was a very good place to come. Every time I came for nursing, I had to find a YY . I was very satisfied with her service.

I have been going for my regular waxing and AFT sessions with Penny and she consistently makes each of my session comfortable and pleasant. Penny anticipates the client's need well ahead of time and clearly shows her service focus. She is very accommodative and polite, making sure that I am well-informed every step of the session. She was not pushy when it comes to recommending appropriate sessions. I don't feel rushed to sign up for the subsequent sessions. The ladies Hanni and Munn at the counter were really pleasant and cordial as well. They were very welcoming and really added to my pleasant experience at the Strip @ Holland V. Thank you!

Edit: revisited again and found an amazing therapist which deserves the change in review. I choose to believe the therapist that did my previous sessions was just poorly skilled. I’ve found a great, kind and thoughtful therapist who is good at what she does. Also the receptionist is super friendly and understanding esp when I’m running slightly late. Prev review: AFT and Thermal Lift was so hot it burnt me several times at several areas. Despite mentioning a few times and asking for a lower settings, it was not resolved. I’ve been doing these treatments at STRIP for almost 10 years and these are the poorest skills and service I’ve ever came across. The handling of the AFT machine was so poor, wasn’t smooth, and even need my help to hold onto my skin - I’ve never had this request ever! Thermal Lift kept burning my face, though I’ve done this several times already and I had to ask 3x to lower or stop because it’s too hot.

Extremely pleasant experience. Was greeted by Hanni & Sha upon reaching with bright smiles and great hospitality. Hanni was clear and patient in explaining the forms that I had to sign prior to treatment. Treatment was extremely pleasant as well, Penny was attentive and careful in carrying out the treatment while making sure the temperature was right and that I am comfortable during and after the treatment. Penny was not only precise but was efficient in carrying the treatment out that it was over in a jiffy. Thank you for the great experience, strip! Will be a return customer.

Elise is the best therapist I’ve had so far. She’s patient, gentle, and warm. The Holland branch is small but cosy, and so so convenient, which is perfect for me.

Therapist Elise was gentle and waxing was great. Other therapist didn’t do a good job for my daughter’s AFT. There was already hair stubs when we got home and a tiny bit unshaven part. I enquired the next night. I was told I should have taken pic of the unshaven bits and the stubs are normal as she is a teenager and hair regrows. It was barely 2 hrs from treatment to us getting home. Some hair growth! I am really unconvinced. It’s our first time doing AFT so call me ignorant but I think it is a job not quite well done.

Elise had been my go to since my waxing days and now AFT (It’s been 15 years!). No one else can put you at ease like the way Elise does (trust me, I’ve tried other therapist in the same chain). Update: AFT is the best investment! It’s been 2 years and no further AFT treatments for underarm. I’m down to just 1 Brazilian AFT session every 8 months! No more monthly visits to strip for waxing! Just imagine the time saved!

This is my first time at Strip, HV. I had a warm welcome by both Hanni & Sha. She told me to have a seat and took down my particular. Almost immediately, I was brought to the room to get my treatment done which went very smoothly by friendly therapist Coco. I was alittle worried as it was my first time but Coco made me feel at ease. The process was smooth. Once I came out, Hanni explained to me about the promotion which I felt was very worth it as a first timer. Friendly staff & nice ambience. Thank you for the experience! 😀
