I always wanted to try Korean hair salon, overall really love the experience. I did hair coloring and hair cut, cost me $430. I personally think it’s worth it cuz it took me 4 hrs in total. Stylist Sha Sha was very popular from lemon 8, so I give it a try. She is super friendly and patient at me when I was choosing color and she gave me hair serum as a gift 😍

This is my second visit here, and both designated Mr. Lee han. My hair is bushy, hairy, dry and extremely curly, so he recommended a hair treatment that fits my hair characteristics, and with his excellent skills and recommendations. I was able to get a very very satisfying style. I recommend this salon. 재 방문 의사 100% 입니다. 머리 너무 마음에 들어요 :)

I have been frequently visiting to Space salon, All these while Grace has been attending to me as my hair stylist. She is very professional and knowledgeable, she always gave good suggestion on the style I should go for, I always expect a different type of cut each month. So that's not easy for a hair stylist to come up differently every month. And after 2 visit I already been telling her that I leave it to her as I knew the results will be good. I almost don’t really write reviews for any place or anyone so for me to write a review means I’m very impressed and happy with the services provided.

Second visit to this salon recently for cut and perm, my first visit was about 6 months ago for cut and perm too and the curls lasted for quite a few months. I've been having my hair permed every few months for as long as I can remember, so I know very well that my hair doesn't get softened and moulded easily. What I really appreciate about this salon is that during the perming process the stylists always check and make sure that my hair is ready for the next step. This, for me, results in nice and lasting curls. Sometimes I'd be expected to wait, I personally don't find the waiting time to be excessive, especially given that the salon is centrally located and quite popular. I'd highly recommend this salon and will definitely be back.

Its my 2nd time here at The Space, and I have never went to the same salon twice before this! My stylist was Sha Sha, both times. Specifically requested for her 2nd time because I was really impressed by her work the first time! (Other salons I went before couldn't capture the hairstyle I wanted). Their service is rly good too, they even give you chocopie and water. Really recommend and recommend Sha Sha as a preferred stylist too! :) She did such a good job my 2nd time here!

This is the 3rd time I came back to this little gem at The Cathay. Love their non-pushy service, ambience n skill. My hairstylist Lee Han was very meticulous, gentle, patient and skillful in mixing, application of hair colour, hair-wash & blowing of hair. As my hair was bleached several times in the past, he would recommend & communicate well with me the suitable hair colour during each visit. Especially love his haircut as it made my hair so light and manageable always (as I had naturally curly and unruly hair). I always feel that haircut is the most important way to see how skillful your hairstylist is. If you always desire Korean airy bangs, you could be assured that you will achieve it here with Lee Han. You don’t need to worry about communication as they could converse in simple English. From what’s app to the various staff at salon, they were all patient and nice with all my queries. I would highly recommend you to try out Lee Han at the Space Korean Hair Salon and I’ll definitely be back again!

I went for a digital perm at this salon in Dec 2022. The perm lasted me 1 year plus before I decided to go back to re-perm my hair. Even after 1 year, the curls were still very pretty. This time, Leehan did my perm + cut. The end result was a pretty perm that started below my ear. But after living with the perm for a few days, I realized I wanted a tighter perm. I told Leehan about it and in the end decided to redo the perm (foc). The pictures of my hair (below) are after a week of redoing my perm. Since then, I have washed my hair multiple times after the perm. All I did to style my hair was to blow-dry (twirling) it and add hair oil. Hopefully this perm will last me 1 year as well haha. I highly recommend this place to any girl who wants long lasting perm. Did my perm twice here and was satisfied twice!

Lee han went above and beyond during my rebonding and hair cut. It was way past closing time yet he meticulously trim, layer and balance my chin length bob cut. Lee han gave extreme attention during entire rebonding process to ensure result is shiny, smooth hair since my hair is frizzy and extremely damaged from other dye and perm. Ellie was really nice and experienced, I showed her a photo reference and she meticulously cut my hair and even gave me tips for hair styling at home. This being my first time at the salon, I opted for a haircut only. Mr Jun cut and blew my hair while his assistant did the washing. Jun was incredibly meticulous. I really appreciate his attention to detail. It took longer than expected and there was some waiting time involved, but I really love the result! Jun also gave helpful tips on how to blow dry my hair for volume and shape. I will definitely return for haircut and explore other hair services here too. 👍

My first visit to a Korean hair salon today. My natural wavy and very damage hair is quite a challenge to handle. I am a fussy pot as well. I did soft rebonding, hair treatment and cut. The director cut my hair, he took quite a long while to layer my hair. Becos of the texture, it's rather difficult and he was very patient. I left the salon, feeling happy and satisfied.

The most satisfactory haircut I had in 3 years. Went there with the goal of getting the "wendy" haircut (short hair with bangs), and Rosa did such a great job! Felt like she paid a lot of attention to really understanding my preferences, and asked a lot of questions (e.g. how thin I want my ends to be, where should the start and end of my layers be, the extent of thickness of bangs, etc). She taught me how to style my hair at home as well, and she even asked what kind of tools I have at home so she tailored the explanations to the tool. Much appreciated and will be back! My mom got her haircut by Jun, and she is also a very happy client. We both did the hair treatments too, it was a bit different than the ones from the usual SG hair salons. So far it has really helped with the usual frizz in our hair. I had my haircut and hair colour today done by their stylist, Mia. I am very happy with the results. She was patient, friendly and I like the way she puts her heart as she does my hair. You can feel and know when a person takes pride in what she/he is doing :) I enjoyed the head massage too during shampoo. Their pricing is also reasonable. The senior stylist was great at creating an impressive layered haircut and service was fine overall. However, it was very rushed and the stylist wasn't very keen on cutting to the length requested (wanted my hair to be shorter so that it's light). The stylist barely trimmed 2cm. I'm a bit sad as it's the first time I've spend $50+ on a haircut.

Find myself keep coming back here whenever I need a good haircut/perm/color - Most of the stylists I have tried in The Space are good and understand what they are doing. Today I had really good hair cut with Rosa, she is very meticulous, spent lots of time and care on my hair cut & color and deliver what I want (even better). Their new space is bigger & more cozy. To avoid CNY crowd, I visit my favourite hair stylist, Lee Han last Saturday. This is my 2nd visit. After my 1st visit, he is now my favourite! I have very long hair, oily scalp and hair shedding these 3 weeks. So I did a new haircut and scalp treatment. Lee Han recommended Kerastase 3 step treatment. Scalp cleansing, scalp mask and hair loss serum. It was my first time using Kerastase. It was so soothing. Minty but not overwhelming. Result is scalp is so refreshing and feels light! With my head smelling so great too! I love how Lee Han layered my hair, especially my mid length fringe. He is very precise in his cut. Appreciate his perfect checking in the cut too. Result, my fringe will bounced as I walk. So flowy and light! :) Love it! Thank you! Lee Han!

Went to The Space to have a perm done and I didn't regret my choice! The service provided at the salon was one of the best I've had so far. My hairstylist was Mia, she was very friendly and patient when dealing with my hair. After showing the kind of perm I wanted, I was warned of the potential frizziness from the perm, which is something I really appreciate as some salons don't necessary tell you that. Mia was really attentive throughout the whole process and even explained how to maintain my perm step by step at the end. Overall pretty happy with my perm and Mia did a great job! As a first time customer, i was extremely impressed by the professionalism and efficiency from the stylists (Lee Han and Joy). My hair is thick, rebellious, frizzy and very difficult to handle. Had my rebonding done today. Usually it takes at least 4 - 5 hrs for each session and some turned out to be disastrous. However today it was about 3hr and i was impressed by the proficiency by Lee Han and Joy. Lee is very patient and meticulous. I appreciate the effort of him keeping double checking to ensure everything is on track. Joy is such a lovely lady with pleasant personality, and of course i am satisfied by her efficiency. Was 15 mins early, informed them I needed to leave by a certain timing which they assured they could do. Was left to sit there alone for 20 plus minutes before an assistant who was standing there the entire time finally helped to wash my hair. My hairdresser Lee Han came 15 mins late for my appointment and throughout the haircut, was unnecessarily aggressive about asking me to check this and that. Maybe he was traumatised by previous bad reviews or what I don't know but it was really annoying and I ended up leaving the salon later than promised. Would not return but still gave 3 stars since they didn't make me look like an ogre.

JENNY IS MY SAVIOR. I had my hair done last Saturday by her and it was my first time to visit the salon. I've been using professional grade products ever since but they never seem to work on my incredibly dry and brittle hair, that falls off every time I comb it. It's frizzy no matter how many times I brush it. But after her treatment, my hair felt instantly renewed and alive!! Even after I've washed my hair, it's still incredibly soft and I can run my fingers through it without any tangles. It's so bouncy! I can't believe this is my hair!!!!!!!!!!!

When I arrived at the salon, the air was so stuffy and hot.The air conditioner temperature was a bit high. Joy said sorry as soon as I sat in the chair. She used the cold wind of the hairdryer to keep me from feeling hot.Also, after shampooing, she put a face cover on my face so that water wouldn't splatter. She used the cold wind to help me not feel uncomfortable when she cut my hair. She asked me the length and thickness of the hair I wanted, and told me how to style it using hair rolls. Now I can make voluminous and cute bangs using hair rolls. Because Joy held the hair roll in my hand and allowed me to practice. I appreciate her kindness and detail.And I really like my new hairstyle. She also cut my age^^.I feel like I'm back in my 20s . If you want a sweet pie, kind service, and a stylish hairstyle? He transformed my distressed thick tresses into a light and young hairdo. JIN is the salon super star. ⭐ I usually perm my hair in Korea. However with Covid, it's been harder to travel so I've tried a few salons in Singapore but have been disappointed so far. Jin expertly guided me through the whole process and convinced me to trust her with a "stronger" perm (understand curlier hairstyle). She customized the perm to my hair texture and head shape, I'm very satisfied with the result. Would definitely recommend JIN to anyone (including guy) if they want to try a more 'adventurous' hair style. As a bonus, i even picked up some Korean words. 감사 해요 지은씨.

Just for those who do not know, Joy has moved and is now working at Nex Salon (271A Holland Avenue, 278991). When making my last appointment, I was told by the person on the phone that Joy was “on leave for 2 months”, which I thought was weird since she would have mentioned it. Nevertheless, I still got my haircut there by Sha Sha thinking it was true. It wasn’t until Joy texted my brother to let him know that she has moved on that I realised that what the shop told me was inaccurate. I will not speculate as to why I was not given accurate information. But for those looking for Joy, you now know where she works.
