Very very friendly guy that helped to fix my bicycle within 20 mins or so. I propped by 30 mins before he close and he still attend to me. He was extremely patient with all the queries from my children while he was fixing my bicycle tyre. 😅 I will definitely come by again next time if I need to fix my bike. Highly recommend! Freddy's service is really remarkable. As my bike gave me lots of noise recently and through my friend's recommendation I decided to give Freddy a try. Within 15 mins he found my bottom bracket is having broken ball bearings and so I decide to purchase a 2nd hand driveline steel bb from him. Since my bike is already there I decided to let him do basic servicing, price is very reasonable and now my bike looks as good as brand new, definitely will patronize his shop again. Thank you Freddy and team.

Aride was the only bicycle shop I could find open on a rain-drenched Sunday afternoon when my front tire got punctured and my stand broke at the same time. Owners are super-friendly, repairs were done extremely quickly and the price was very reasonable as well. Saved me from what would have been an hour-long walk if I'd had to push my bike home. One day I chanced upon this shop in the neighbourhood when I was looking for a mechanic urgently as I damaged my deraileurs. Since then I’ve been coming to this shop several times and I always leave happily. Freddy is very transparent, honest & meticulous; he won’t let your bike leave his shop until it is really fixed. I will always support this shop when I can, as he has rectified my bike issues countless times even though I return with a new problem almost every week. LOL.

Sent my TCR to Freddy to diagnose a clicking noise, and for a general cleaning, and when he checked everything he found issues with my bottom bracket, as well as wrong torque in many areas. worst of all it was badly greased in the seatpost which caused the clicking noise. VERY responsive, professional, and sends regular updates via whatsapp photo about the progress of your bike. I cannot recommend Freddy enough. See this guy for all your bike needs!

Professional high quality services. Highly recommend. I’ve used Steven’s services for over a year now and he’s helped me out with a few issues I’ve had on my road bike. Steven has an amazing sense of customer service and loyalty and you can feel this in every interaction you have with him. Amazing dedication and passion to the servicing of bikes. On a few occasions he even stayed after hours to fix my bike. It may not be the fanciest shop like the ones in the CBD, but Steven’s experience / interpersonal skills / passion makes up for that 10 fold. Also very well priced services.

Desperately needed to inflate my flat bicycle tyres on a Sunday and Aride was open. Met Steven who was very knowledgeable (long story, my bike was in the car and when I gave the brand name, he immediately knew what size tyres and the brand of tyres).. He fixed my problem very quickly, showed me better bicycle pumps to prevent such future occurrences and refused to charge for services rendered! A real gem for your bicycle needs!

The pedals of My kid's bicycle have some sharp edges (which easily scratched my kid's legs) due to wear and tear and I have tried to find the replacement parts in the market including decathlon but failed. Although Freddy's shop didn't have parts also, the staffs were very nice to do some polishing work to remove sharp edges and the charge is very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Thanks Steven at Aride who attended to my bicycle with a flat tyre. I was unable to inflate my tire at home with my digital bicycle pump. He found out that it was my digital pump that was faulty, not my tire. He didn't charge for the service. Like!

Professional and thorough I found Freddie's team highly professional, really helpful and very friendly, and I would definitely recommend their services. I am very grateful that they made my bicycle like new, after it had no service for last 5 years or longer. They cleaned my bicycle really thoroughly, checked everything, and greased as necessary, and installed new parts (brake pads, mudguards, rack). They even sent me documentary photos of the condition before and after. The bicycle now looks almost like new, and it works perfectly. Thanks Freddy, I’ll come back!

I was not getting any replies from Freddy initially, then found out that he is moving his home based business to a shop due to some conflicts on his end. He was able to help me to reroute my dropper post wiring nicely. My BB bearings were having issues after strip down and Freddy was able to provide an alternative BB with ceramic bearings which was extremely smooth during ride. Overall, the full servicing is worth it for the price of $150.00. I will definitely continue to support him with my other rides!

The before and after photos show the quality of service. I also like that they send photos of the disassembled parts nicely arranged during the service. It adds peace of mind for me, knowing that they’re taking good care of the bike. Very responsive as well. I just hope one day the shop can move to level 1, and if possible to have separate space for smoking so the main area for receiving customers can be family-friendly :) They also accommodate my additional requests like adding grease to the pedals, etc. Will definitely go back for my next service.

Just had my foldie fixed (main issues were leaking inner tube and very noisy rear brake) at FBS. Very professional service rendered by Freddy. Besides fixing the issues, Freddy also takes his own initiative to fix any other issues that he observes and also does quality checks on the bicycle e.g. gears and brakes; it is as good as undergoing an annual safety inspection and all for a very reasonable price. Freddie's services are the best I've ever encountered. Right from the start when I messaged him about the faults on my bike (which I caused), he gave me a few tips to prevent exacerbating the problem; and all of these happened in the middle of the night. When I reached his place, he warmly welcomed me- something that I've never received from a bike mechanic. Over the years, Ive been to many bike mechanics for my lousy bike, and all I've gotten were rude mechanics refusing to even attend or look at me, refusing to answer my questions, coercing me to buy expensive products and charging me exorbitant prices for a simple service or item. Freddie's services on the other hand is completely different. Freddie patiently went on to diagnose my bike's problems one by by one, and even went as far as to dismantle everything to find even the slightest problem. He explained the problems to me thoroughly in simple terms that I could understand (when all other bike mechanics I've visited wouldn't), and presented to me various alternatives to fix the problems, providing me with his wealth of experience and inputs to help me with making a informed decision, one that balanced cost and longevity. He did not push the most profitable solution- in fact, he did the contrary by trying to salvage my faulty parts. In this case, due to the fact my bike had never seen a maintenance before, and all its bearings were broken, Freddie went the extra mile to dismantle the hubs, washed the bearings ONE BY ONE, washed it again, picked out those that were working, and those that weren't. As for my faulty bottom bracket, knowing that I had a small budget, he recommended me a cost efficient replacement at a very reasonable price. On top of all that, he went past this work hours till 12am to fix my bike. I was absolutely impressed at his professionalism and what he was willing to do to make a customers' bike work again, regardless of bike's value, which other mechanics discriminate. In total, Freddie serviced my bike for 4.5 hours, fixing a total of 6 problems which made my bike completely unusable- and he solved everything at a reasonable price. Freddie's passion for bikes and customers, his professionalism, and his knowledge are clearly a cut above the rest the other services available in Singapore. I am truly glad that I've found such a wonderful and passionate mechanic for my bikes, and he will be the only mechanic that I will patronize from now on dispite how inconvenient it is for me to get there. I will recommend Freddie to everyone who is looking for a bike mechanic, if having a patient, knowledgeable, honest, objective, reasonably priced and professional mechanic is what you're looking for. Thanks Freddie!

Professional, helpful. I changed my front bicycle tire from the bicycle shop which is near my house due to punctured last night but they did not fix it well (like riding a horse). FBS so friendly and provided free service to help me fix it when I approached them.

I purchased clip-in pedals and went to Freddy's to get them installed. They did it quickly, then installed cleats into my cycling shoes and even taught me how to clip into pedals - I hadn't ever done so (and gave a fair warning as well). All for very reasonable price. Nice people.

Found Freddy on Facebook and read good reviews about his dedication to servicing bikes. Decided to let him service all my bikes. One was an old 90' Bridgestone. Another was a newer On One bike. Both of which hasn't been serviced for some time. He did a great job in cleaning, servicing and tuning both bikes. It was as though I had two new bikes when I took them home. Gears were smooth and could feel the smoothness of my ball bearing hubs. I just left my Mezzo D9 foldie with him for servicing as well. Overall, a friendly and great experience with Freddy.
