Stunning book shop. Made up of 2 floors. Friendly staff, great display and choice of books. Lovely and quiet.

The place didn't allow photos further into the shop ... which is sad because every book lover needs to know about this beautiful little place :) There are lots of tiny handwritten notes scattered all over with recommendations and quotes and commentaries ... so charming and quaint...and what's best is that I was able to buy high quality local books and a classic title too. Good selection overall! The staff is so accommodating too ... they knew how to give space, and were very helpful when needed.

There aren’t many bookstores like these in Singapore. Nice quaint little place with a wide variety of books and friendly staff. Must visit if you love reading and still want to interact with real books and not digital copies.

The best kind of bookstores make you feel like you're in the comfort of an old friend's living room. I worked in Borders for 4 years before it shut its doors in 2010 - and in my opinion, Littered with Books stands as one of my most favourite indie bookstores to date. Housed in a narrow two-storey shophouse along Duxton Road, LWB carries more than the usual bestsellers; and if you're a bibliophile, you will love perusing every shelf and nook for its wonderful curation of quotes and odd titles.

Great selection of fiction. Less for non fiction but more interesting and non mainstream selection. Minimal children's but there's still some. Very nice setting and upstairs is a whole book world of its own (although a little too cold). Prices standard for this kind of bookstore. Lovely place and can spend time browsing for hours when covid restrictions ease.

Beautiful little independent bookstore with such lovely attention to detail. Love the decor, good selection and variety, and lovely gift packaging too. Would give 5 stars if it had a little nook to sit and read and sip on some tea but I guess it's prime location in Duxton area and you could always buy a book and pop over to a nearby cafe to read!

It is a lovely bookshop aesthetically, but not so good for browsing. (Especially compared to the other three indie bookstores I've been to in Singapore.) There are notes everywhere asking you not to take pictures, and asking you to be careful with the books... and that really, for me, kills the experience. So I only walked around, felt unwelcome and left.

If you're a bookworm and you love to collect books, this place is perfect to get your resources! They sell thousands of books especially the newly updates ones and if you're finding the books of Nicholas Sparks, they have complete collection! This is the good place to get lost because the books are so wonderful and budget friendly! Its more better to get lost in this bookstore than being lost in love.

A quaint little bookstore located in the downtown area of Singapore. Although their selection of books is limited, the overall atmosphere of the place is very chill.

A lovely little bookstore, hidden away in a side street in Singapore downtown. Filled with books of all types and friendly staff. Will make a point to visit each time I return. If you have some time to kill and enjoy browsing and feeling printed books, maybe find yourself a holiday read. Definitely would recommend.

This hipster bookstore opens into Sunday night (8pm)! Quiet place in Duxton Hill area for a peaceful read. Place accepts cash, credit and EFTPOS. Books are reasonably price, you might even find a bargain, I did....Aladdin and other Arabian tales for S$10. Storekeepers are helpful, otherwise they'll leave you alone to browse.

What a great little bookstore, disappointingly rare these days. With books from floor to ceiling covering all manor of interests and subjects, displayed in rather creative ways. Has a really welcoming vibe, great place to lose yourself for awhile!

cant take pics; but its rly cool, it has the ~hipster~ feelz. i was told its a secondhand books shop but the books r all quite new? the spines are barely bent, and they have a large collection - from fantasy to children's books and cooking books. you'll be spoilt for choice

It's a small and precious bookstore. The space is small, but the curation is very meticulous and it's fun to look around. I bought two books, and one was recommended by a staff member. I asked for a recommendation for a book by a Singaporean author, and they kindly guided me! It would be good for people who like books to stop by when they're nearby.
