Cute place with a children play area at the side! The kids immediately took off to the play area once we entered the cafe. Space is good for family gatherings. The food menu is a little limited though. All the pastas were not available at the time we were there on Sunday at 11ish. We ordered the brunch breakfasts and the scrambled eggs were nicely done with cheese. Overall, it's a comfortable place to laze around and chill on a weekend with kids.

Their french toast and the mushroom toast was pretty good. The french toast is pretty filling so I recommend sharing it between two people. However I wouldn't recommend their pasta, their sauces are a bit diluted and the pasta was too soft (?), perhaps they boiled the pasta first hand and left it in hot water for a few hours. It's more of a breakfast cafe, I personally prefer their breakfast menu over their lunch menu. The place is clean and well lit, and the customer service is pretty alright. It's a nice place if you're going for aesthetics or Instagram pics.

July 2022: was first attracted to the name (hee hee) and found it was a cafe rather than a watering hole but hey, I am always up for a cafe! The waffle is fab and not on the menu so be sure you ask for it at the counter. The scrambled egg with mushroom toast is another must try! Scrambled perfectly with a generous portion of sautéed mushrooms on a delicious buttery toast. It was balanced well w leafy salad on the side. Really made my day :) We are hoping that the range of waffles could be expanded to include savoury waffles like waffle and chicken. Will be heading back to the cafe soon! July 2024: another visit as was craving pasta. Unfortunately it wasn’t ready yet. Had the chicken burger and the mushroom toast. Still good as before. Able to use CDC vouchers there too! Dec 2024: quick and good lunch.

We chanced upon this place this afternoon and had a lovely time there. The Christmas decor is beautiful! We had the french toast and smoothie bowl which were yummy. I enjoyed the mocha too and they have a soy milk option too. Service was warm and welcoming too, although it was near closing time, they did not hurry us! It would be great to visit during this Christmas season to see the pretty fairy lights! 😊

Really like what they done to the deco of this place. Very cosy with nice sofa seats, good lightings, great greenery, nice chill music and decent selection of food. Whoever the boss is, he or she has good taste. It is really a gem for those staying at depot road area. I do hope we have more of such nice cosy place to chill out in this neighborhood… only downside though is they only operate til 4pm…

I booked the place for my son’s 1st birthday and it was a very cosy celebration. The ambiance, food, coffee and service was perfect, 5 stars. A lot of our guests praised the food, which was a mixture of Asian and western dishes. Grace was also very friendly and helpful in assisting us with our party preparations. Parking is also convenient and not expensive. Highly recommend this place for parties.

Hidden gem in a quiet neighbourhood! The food’s great, had the marinara pasta and avo egg toast! It’s great! The menu may not be very extensive but it is good enough. We were served by Catherine, and she’s very attentive and knowledgeable about the cafe operations even though she’s only been there for 3 months! Can totally feel her passion for her job. The ambience is great too, decked with the fairy lights, and soft toys and dried flowers. Kids would love this place! They have a party wing as well if anyone’s looking for a party venue.

This place is amazing, hands down one of the best places ive ever been. When i told them that it was my grandmas birthday, not only did they start to sing happy birthday to grandma but they gave us a slice of cake on the house for her. It was quite wholesome and warming to the heart. 10/10 would recommend this place!! loving family filled with great people.

Came all the way to try this cafe close to Henderson Waves and it was worth the bus trip! Delicious, homey, and wholesome lunch food. I got the mushroom egg toast which was an excellent portion. My dad was very impressed with the salmon avocado toast. Their scones are tasty too!! Enjoy!

Hosted my daughter’s 1st birthday party at this cafe. Everyone loved the ambience. It was very warm and cosy. Grace was so helpful and arranged everything perfectly from deco, to posters and cake. It was really pretty and you wouldn’t expect such a vintage and pretty cafe at a neighborhood place. It was apt for the party and it felt magical. Grace also accommodated all our requests and made the entire experience so easy and pleasant. Will definitely recommend if you want to host an event with your close ones. Special thanks for the cake as well, it was in line with the theme and so pretty.

Beautiful place with very thoughtful table games for little children, old maid cards, drawing material, pick up sticks, etc and even a corner with toddle push toys. Definitely a place where parents with young children would love. Even the toilet is artfully designed. Food is good, tasty and nutritious.

Perhaps its just bad timing but today (Saturday) there's an event at B&W's adjoining event space with thumping music and loud singing, so its not at all a cafe experience. Based on that I cannot rate B&W all that highly. Having said that, the mushroom egg sourdough toast is quite tasty, and the latte is pleasant too. The environment its cozy / arty / cutesy / beechwood-furniture-meets-string-lights style. Maybe without the background noise from the event this would be a much better experience. As for the price, given the location and the basic nature of the food and beverage we had, 30++ was a bit high. But I suppose that's also an outcome of post-Covid inflation.

Love the warm, cosy & relaxing vibe the cafe sends out the moment we stepped inside.🤩 place is so spacious!!! The music was just perfect (we totally basked in it cos it was from our era😁😝) and more importantly at the right volume so that patrons could still enjoy having conversations comfortably. Cafe serves up a simple yet delightful menu. The salmon avocado is a must-try! So good! The banana berry smoothie bowl was just as refreshing! Besides the scone, we haven’t tried other pastries yet. Very very healthy breakfast overall! We thoroughly enjoyed our first hangout at this cafe… definitely will be back for more!!👍👍👍👍👍

Decent food. Selection of drinks. However, though atmosphere is ok, they only turn on 1 aircon to save electricity so the place is warm! Moreover, the kitchen is in the same place as where diners sit and so the smell of cooking fills the air! Kitchen used to be separate from the diners. So if you like basking in perspiration ans drenched in food smell drinking coffee, do visit. :)

While waiting, you have some markers or childhood games - pick-up sticks (really fun!) The place looked gorgeous. Ordered Marinara Pasta, the texture of the linguine pasta is great and the prawn is very juicy. I love the Strawberry Peach cooler. Real tasty Peach slice with crushed strawberries in the sparkling cooler. It is marvellous especially on a hot weather. I helped myself to a dessert - Ondeh Ondeh cake. It was fluffy and tasty if you love coconut with Gula Melaka.

Disclosure: Through the children's parties she holds, I personally know the crazy fun lady boss Grace (non-apologetically, she is a Siao Zar Bor!). Bailey and Whiskey is a family owned cafe (just like the family's pets, Bailey and Whiskey). It is intimate. From the toys and games (what Grace's kids used to play when they were young) avail for free play, to the decor that changes with the seasons/festivals/parties (where Grace may go over-the-top), to the food (perfected by the son, Elijah), you'll see bits of the family. You may also catch the hubby, John and daughter, Suzannah behind the counter or serving you on busy weekends. Overall, great food (please add more dishes to the menu!), great ambience, great service. I'm amazed (but not surprised) with new stuff, new ideas with each visit. I've brought my in-laws (who usually don't fancy angmoh food) to Bailey and Whiskey and they like it! I was surprised. We may not remember exactly what food we had, but we will not forget good Bailey and Whiskey made me feel.

The cafe is so cosy, perfect for a brunch or for studying! The decorations for Christmas are beautiful! The staff were really friendly too. I ordered Whisky's French Toast, the Carbonara with choice of protein of prawns or salmon, the hot matcha latte, and the hot chocolate. Everything was delicious, especially the french toast! The brioche was moist and they were very generous with the berries. Absolutely loved my experience here, would definitely come back to try out the other things on the menu!

On my visit to Bailey and Whiskey, I ordered Whiskey's French Toast, along with Gracie's Hot Chocolate. The thick brioche slices were yummily buttered to perfection, and were paired well with a generous serving of berries, icing sugar and maple syrup. The portion was hearty to say the least; no skimping here! The hot chocolate was utterly indulgent, perfect for chocolate lovers like myself. It was nice and filling, and I was even given additional marshmallows and chocolate on the side! Decked out in greenery and festive decorations, Bailey and Whiskey's spacious yet cosy interior definitely left an impression. Will be back for more!

I tried their flat white and croissant, and I must say that their flat white taste better than the cafe that’s a few units beside them! :p so, if you are craving for a cup of flat white, I highly recommend you to drop by Bailey and Whiskey instead! Just one question for the owner… why is the shop name “Bailey and Whiskey”, when the menu doesn’t offer any alcohol? Looking forward to the day when they decides to add them into their menu, since the whole cafe has a very nice atmosphere, and it will be amazing to be able have a drink with friends at this place. *Updated on 5 Dec 2022* I tried their Ciabatta Eggy and is very happy with it! (Will order it again next time after trying other dishes) Their mocha is average though, so I still prefer their flat white. Also, I finally found the answer to my previous question! The name “Bailey and Whiskey” was derived from the name of the owner’s pets!

We came upon this place by chance. Its very cosy and has a nice ambience. Food is very good. Love the mushroom sourdough sandwich and my friends ordered the Avocado Salmon Sourdough. Also very good. The lemon grass ginger tea is very generous - 3 cups for a pot. Nice place to chillax!

Went there for lunch with colleague on weekday. We reached around 1245pm and sat at one of the big tables after being told it is free seating. However, we were asked to change table in case a bigger group comes for lunch while the whole restaurant was quite empty .... We had the carbonara pasta with prawns. Food was good but definitely overpriced (S$19.80 for the pasta). So we did not order any drink or dessert. Menu is quite limited sadly.

The atmosphere, environment and hospitality at Bailey & Whiskey was superb! Everything from the cozy and welcoming surroundings, to the great service and attitude provided by the staff there. I even had the opportunity to be accommodated by the owner herself! She was delightful and ensured that my friends and I enjoyed our time there #highlightofmylife . From the 2 dishes that I tried, “Egg Mushroom Toast” and “Whiskey’s French Toast”, I gathered that they provide more than healthy portions (not like some typical cafes). Moreover, they have unique and interesting takes on the food which made it extremely appealing and #instagramworthy. And the food tasted great! What more can I say! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a place to hang out, an atmosphere to appreciate and excellent food to enjoy. Cheers!

The food is great 👍🏽 and the service is superb. The owner, Ms. Grace, will personally go around to chat with the diners. I have visited the café twice, and I had a great time in both visits. Aside from the food, the place is also instagrammable 😊 there’s a lot of corners where you can take nice photos, especially during Christmas season.

This café is a short walk away and my family visited it today. The owner used to conduct Zumba classes (stopped due to Covid) and organize parties in the same building and she has continued her entrepreneurial streak to bring exciting vibes to our sleepy neighbourhood. We were welcomed by a staff even before entering the café and were glad to be able to choose any empty table. The café is spacious with a high ceiling so it’s bright and airy. It feels homely and not noisy as some other cafes. It is also very photogenic and the CNY décor is certainly Instagram worthy. We waited a bit longer than expected for our food but they taste good and my daughter is full of praise for her Carbonara. Prices are typical of cafes and there’s no GST and service charge. They only accept cash or Paynow currently. I would suggest that the café offers more variety in its menu e.g. side dishes/drinks and extend its opening hours slightly longer for dinner. I reckon the café will feel even more cosy after sunset with its warm lights.

Generally, the toast, coffee, ambient and sevice are good but the price on the steep side considering in a heartland area. As big bulk of the cost price come from the rental rather than from the food material. If a 15% less especially on the toast it will be perfect.

Stumbled upon Bailey & Whiskey after a morning walk on the Southern Ridges, and what a fantastic find! It's tucked away, feeling like a bit of a hidden secret, but step inside and it's surprisingly spacious and refreshingly cool – the perfect escape. It was the ideal place to unwind with great coffee. And the food? Consistently delicious and absolutely gorgeous to look at – the plating is always spot-on! Plus, their bakery items are seriously scrumptious. I'm pretty sure I saw the largest croissant in Singapore there – it was massive! So, if you're exploring the ridges and need a comfy, cool spot to refuel with visually stunning, tasty food (and potentially conquer a giant croissant!), definitely check this place out. A truly pleasant surprise on all fronts!
