Reviews of Bistro8@Foch Road
The noodles from one of the shops within Bistro 8 is amazing! I forgot the shop name, but they are famous for it. The char sieu and wonton with the noodles complement the dish really well!
Dynasty fried Porridge always sold out!! But the other dishes taste good too. Especially fried bee hoon, got smokey wok hey taste - love it!
Good range of food. Chicken rice, porridge, zi char, braised duck rice, kway chup, sambal stingray, hipster western food and a famous Kok Kee Wanton Mee is on the way.
Kok Kee Wontan Mee is still so good after so many years. Consistency!!
Nice and clean. Open early. Good food
Couldn’t get to eat the wanton mee because it’s sold out but chanced upon the ban mian store! The star of this show is indeed the dry ban mian. If you’re not someone that likes soggy noodles, ask for the noodles to not be cook for too long and less spicy! It’s so much yummier like this. Also, they have great service. I guess, it’s a blessing in disguise 😊
Good kopitiam with variety of cooked food. Worth notable r the zi cha n kuih zap. The wanton noodle is overpriced. They use not so good grade noodles their cha siew seems like cheap waterboiled type. Best to avoid.
Food is good, but service is horrible. Extremely rude and haughty drink vendor (elder gentleman with white hair). I'll come for food but will skip the drink.
We have tried the claypot frog porridge from the stall, New World Claypot Frog Porridge and BBQ Seafood. There are two flavours, Dried Chillie and Ginger & Spring Onion. Both tastes great! We agree with the stall's tagline , "Most Probably the Best Frog Porridge in Singapore".
In addition to that, the BBQ Fish/Sotong/Prawns, Sambal Kangkong/Ladies' Fingers and Fried Eggs are mouth watering :)
That mornings' kok kee noodles did not meet the std that we used to have for 10 over years. They promise to look into it.
Duck noodle and porridge are way too underrated. Superb! Haven't tried others. Superb great friendly staffs.
Good spread of hawker food. Frog legs porridge is good! So is kuey chap.
Tried the black carrot cake, very nice. Park at Hoa Nam Building, plenty of lots.
Chill ambience with a lot of fans, food to me not bad but my friend say okok only hmm
Fish head noodle is fantastic. TASTY
Clean and well lighted. Alit of food and the nesi looks good.
Next to 81... a normal coffeeshop but has atas name 🤣
Small. Food court. Just Ok
Good food
Great place for cheap meals
Yummy
Came here to eat Wen Kee Pork Soup and Mei Xi Yong Tau Fu. They were both very cost-effective and tasted great!
small food court Near many convenient accommodations, open early in the morning. Order braised pork with rice for just 2 coins. It's a little pricey, but the price is acceptable.
Unfortunately there is only one halal food restaurant but the milk coffee is delicious and I like it
There isn't a lot of variety, but it's perfect for me because I like foreign food. It's so delicious!! I'm happy it's close to home😍
Three stars are not for the Sunday service is no one speaks Greek
The noodles are delicious
great experience
Lots of things to play with
