Got to know of this seafood bbq zhichar place that is near Tampines west Mrt station. Since I was taking the downtown line today, I decided to pay this stall a visit. Reached the place closed to 7pm and was quite surprised that the place was empty. Based on the signages, I could tell that their menu is pretty extensive. However, came here for solely for their famous horfun which starts from SGD$5 onward. Apart from their horfun , they also offer other dishes like crispy beehoon, mee goreng and etc. Over here, you are served a complimentary dish of achar, which is quite a nice touch. My food didn’t take long to arrive. The gravy was darker in colour and was piping hot,Horfun was nicely fried and definitely has wok hei to it. My bowl of horfun came with the usual prawn, sliced lean pork, vegetable and even clams. Gravy was flavorful but on the sweet side for me. Their horfun was definitely above average for me, but there is still room for improvement. I wouldn’t mind coming back again to try their other dishes in the future.

The sambal manta ray is really spicy! Friends who like spicy food will definitely like it, but friends who can't eat spicy food will be a little helpless. The sambal manta ray is so spicy! The three-egg vegetable soup I ordered was just fine. Beverages are only canned soda. The price is reasonable. The outdoor tables are very comfortable. It's just that the ground is uneven and the table is tilted. The location is convenient and can be reached by subway. Near Tampines West MRT.
