Reviews of Fu Kee Traditional Handmade Pau & Dim Sum 福记传统手工包•点心
Best dimsum ever that I tried in Singapore.
It is rare handmade dimsum that we can find in foodcourt. The prawn and century egg dumpling are the best in my point-of-view. All ingredients are fresh to make dimsum juicy. The price is so affordable given the good quality. The foodcourt clean and airy. Especially really like Uncle, he is so friendly and nice.
The dim sums are considered not bad to my opinion. The 大包 is really juicy and the Lotus Leaf Rice has very good flavours.
Dim sums are roughly all about $2 per basket.
Wanted to eat the 流沙包,凤爪 and 叉烧包 but they were sold out even though I went at 10am...
Loved their dimsum. Sorry that I have no pictures to post because I usually finished eating the dimsum before realising that I should've snap a pic. The big pau is a must have! Extremely juicy inside to the extent that it will drip all over your hands. Lo Mai kai is also all time favourite. Their dimsum stands out over the other regular ones and on par with famous dimsum restaurants. Pricing is coffee shop standard. It's my favourite breakfast place!
The dimsum has never let me down... Ever! 😋
the lo mai kai and big pau is pretty good.
with a tinge of wine taste for the big pau.
however the har kow is 1 of the worst i have eaten. after i mouth of the har kow, tried to ask for soy sauce and was told no soy sauce only have chili sauce
if not for the har kow wld definitely give a 5 star instead of 4.
wld be back only for big pau or lo mai gai next time
Tried the Char Siew Pau and Ling Yong Pau, not bad. The texture is good and the price is reasonable. Don’t want any crowd or long queue, i think weekdays come between 9am to 11am. He you try most of their food they have. I will come back again to try their other items they soon. Attached photo is the Ling Yong Pau.
Had the loh mai kai and the big pao here. Both are handmade on the spot. You can see the workers busy preparing the paos and dim sums throughout the day. Recently during CNY, they took a few weeks off to go back to Malaysia to visit their family but has since re-opened.
For nice loh mai kai, I am looking for dish that is prepared as a whole and where the ingredients and the glutinous rice is as one. I don't really enjoy those factory churned out loh mai kai because it is like the glutinous rice is one dish and the ingredients is another dish. For the loh mai kai here, all the ingredients and the glutinous rice is as one dish. Very juicy and veyr nice flavour. Like every grain of it.
The big pao is very juicy and has nice huo tieo chiew flavour too. A delight to eat them.
The stall owner was making the dim sum when I arrived 6:45am on a Sunday morning. Tried the Da-Bao 大包 that people recommended, and the Siu-Mai烧卖. Overall good.
Quite affordable. Tasty. Not many varieties. Comparable price with Swee Choon but in the neighborhood. Come early, most of item are not available by 11:30 am.
Most items are slightly on saltier side.
Ha gau texture is good. Got some crunch, skin is abit chewy.
Siew mai is too salty and peppery, but could be just me(dont like pepper)
Lomaigai abit dry and chewy, and not hot enough unfortunately.
Charsiew pau not bad,
Tausar pau also pretty good. Pretty sticky and sweet.
9.50$ for orders in photo. Affordable overall
Location slightly inaccessible from mrt.
Average dim sum. 流沙包paste is more curdy, i prefer slightly smoother paste..
But it is all hand made, so give some credits to the efforts.
This coffee shop is a hidden gem. Many nice food here. Dim sum is my favourite! Delicious! 😋
Authentic, freshly handmade, steaming hot dim sum. Delicious and inexpensive. 😋
Reasonable price and tastes good.
Siew Mai and Golden Sands Buns are so good!!!!!
Best handmade bao in Singapore
