To those who like your food to be more flavorful, this is not a place for you except for the skewers. Cook food smell very nice but tasted bland. I would recommend to those who likes their food to be not so flavorful but personally I won't be back again. Sorry to say that.

Another good Dongbei (North East China) restaurant located on the fringe of Chinatown. We found the Guo Bao Ruo, famous Heilongjiang pork cutlets, to be one of the best in town. Prices are similar to Dongbei Renjia, the most popular of the 3 Dongbei restaurants in Chinatown but this outlet has an outdoor area for BBQ and housed in a 1990s Peranakan building.

This restaurant isn't very surprising and has the same standard as other northern Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. The price was reasonable prices and typical Chinese service, but it's not as fancy as Crystal Jade. The pork knuckle is great, boiled dumplings are tasty, and grilled skewers are just okay. You can reserve whole roasted lamb in advance. Overall, it's a nice place to eat without any fancy or exciting features.

Simply divine! Great atmosphere for Family and friends gathering. The variety of food able to cater to anyone's palates. Would recommend the British lamb stew and the Chongqing Grilled Fish!

Craving for some good food? Look no further. This hidden gem located at Bridge Road (nearest MRT station is Chinatown) serves dishes from fried Gong Gong to homestyle tofu to crayfish to even jellyfish. I find their cuisines very unique and has a taste of its own. Worth trying definitely! The ambience is also very instragmmable. So, enjoy the food and take good pictures while you are at it!

Food portion wise, is worth evry penny we forked out as the portion is quite colossal. However there is not much difference as compared to other Northern Eastern China restaurants in Singapore.

This place is really good, their bitter melon salad is unique and delicious, healthy but most importantly tasty. You can order the usual northeastern Chinese fare but they just make everything better, not overly salty, not overly greasy (as long as you don't order Sichuan inspired dishes) and very generous portions. First ate here 2 weeks ago and I've gone back 4 times since, if you think all Chinese food is stirfried and greasy, go to this place and order from the appetizer/cold dish menu. Oh and they make dumplings too. Yes they accept credit card.

This is a very authentic Chinese restaurant. Since it originally specializes in dumplings, the dumplings are all delicious, as are the skewers. The other dishes aren't too greasy and the portions are generous. If you can speak a little Chinese, the staff will be even more friendly. The food is also reasonably priced. While the location is a bit off the beaten path, it's worth a visit. Recommended dishes include the guo ba rou, lazi ji, and dumplings.

This restaurant offers a light-hearted atmosphere, and the fish is very fresh. After ordering, I realized the crayfish is the signature dish, and it's live. It's a great place for a meal in Chinatown, away from the hustle and bustle. The seafood is especially recommended.
