Reviews of Kim San Leng Food Centre Bukit Panjang
Coffee shop just renovated. Most are new stall and the outside seating areas seems to have extended to allow for more seats. Still love the otah from the side stall from the lady.
This coffee shop is very crowded all the time and food is just average. Toilet is not very clean and got to queue on weekends morning cos many hikers and bikers will stop at this coffee shop for their breakfast or lunch after their hike in the Mandai Trail.
Bought Indian rojak, Chinese rojak, Mee Rebus, and Mee siam. Food was okay. The Indian rojak was very nice!
Mee Siam: Gravy was okay! Portion size was good too!
Mee Rebus: Gravy had a slight smell which I’m not used to. Portion size was good.
Chinese Rojak: Portion size was good and rojak was nicely prepared and packed.
Indian Rojak: Will definitely come back for more. The gravy was okay! Lots of gravy given too! Loved the Rojak very much.
Fully Renovated and furnished recently. Cleanliness slightly better than before. Many selection of food there and I choosed 重庆烤鱼 which was nice. Will come try others.
UPDATE: the famous duck noodle at bangkit have since been moved from BLK 259 to BLK 257 when they renovated. it’s now right up the “hill”, beside the playground area.
details on operating hours can be found by googling map their store name.
nice place for dining The only few good stores left are 7 F, very nice and
generous potion at very reasonable price. The friendly boss
allow u to top up soup. Great
Bustling even late at night at 10 pm with many stalls open. Had fishball noodles, quite nice.
The Fong Hup Koka noodle bring back old memory taste at the $5.50, if they use fresh prawn, the taste will be better
Nice if you drinks kopi lao uncle do
HDB heartland. Nice mood of CNY. I had wonton noodles. Tasted really good. Value for money
Food and drinks(coffee-O $1.30/cup)prices are on the high side, recommend to go nearby (50m away) Bukit Pajang Food Centre where food and drinks are 30~40% lower in prices and coffee taste much better where price is only $0.80/cup. So strongly advise go to the BP food centre nearby which can save you a lot. BP food centre is very clean too.
The food court seems cleaner after a recent renovation. The food choices are pretty much the same. There's a good following from nearby residents, mountain bikers, and hikers.
The taste of the Char Siew and Roasted Pork noodles was fantastic. Worth trying and valued for money.
Duo again..but this time the noodles abit soggy.. hope u can bring back when i first time eat taste🤫
One of the more comfortable coffee shop 😋 to dine! Great Kopi C too 👍🏻
Usual fare at coffeeshop. However, the lor mee leaves a lot to be desired. Initiallt long queue but now no longer any queue. Had much better ones elsewhere
There's Koo Kee yong tau foo. Kway chap is pretty good. There is an adjoining coffeeshop and a hawker center nearby .... sure to find something for everyone.
I hope you're not expecting too much from a coffeeshop from the price you're paying. The staff serving drinks mainly serve the regulars and you'll need to really catch their attention so that they can get your orders to you. Beer ladies reserve certain seats for regulars as well. To be fair, it's a common practice at most coffeeshops - I don't agree with this practice, but it's not stopping me and probably not anyone else from going to a coffeeshop.
We ordered 4 dishes. The fish head curry and pork dish were average, but the sambal kangkong and the prawn paste fried chicken wings were quite good. Overall was above average. And it's not that cheap.
Open 24/7 which is really good for persons like me. I always order coffee and wanton soup. It tastes really good and affordable too! Good place to have a meal..
It was okay. Near car park, open 24hrs and some decent food choices. Plenty of seating. Oh...smokers rejoice......there is a smoking area. Didn't eat anything this time...only coffee o.
Pretty good spot to dine in especially because of the popular western from Char Grill Bar ! Wide variety and on top of that the coffee shop is opened 24 hours with plenty of other stores as well.
Food place and clean .Market too. They shop which sells char siew Pau etc is very expensive..One small tiny pau slightly bigger then a fifty cents coin in diameter is about $1.20 a piece. On display it shows in the wooden tray it has three there ..😞😞
Having brunch there after group hiking nearby
Not as popular now, as there are a lot more food options around the area. The coffeeshop next door has been renovated and has more food options.
The food choices here are good, but the cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the cleaners toss plates and bowls into their cleaning carts, causing food and gravy to sometimes splash out.
24 hours coffee shop. Food is so so only.
Run of the mill 24 hour food court. Like the roasted meat stall. Prices are above average by Bukit Panjang standards. Better food to be had elsewhere.
Asam Fish head and Nyona curry fish tail at $13.00 each. Very nice and satisfied. Must dine in.
There is a handmade noodle store here that is really popular. The mee hoon kway is to die for but they normally run out before 11am so you need to be there early.
The handmade noodle store also has dumplings which are really big and have diced chestnuts inside to add that extra crunch. Really good.
The drinks are normally a little sweet and the taste depends on who is making them so it's a little tricky.
It is a good place to go if you are hungry at night and dk what to eat. The place sell fish ball noodles that is super nice and cheap, ranging from 3-5 dollars. They sell wanton noodles, western and seafood too. Beside Kim San leng, there is a 7 eleven that your can visit if you want to buy some snacks. So many variety of food to choose from. The only thing that Kim San leng do not have is aircon. It is at an open area so I don't recommend wearing long sleeve shirt or jeans if you are going there to eat as it would be hot even though there would be fans.
This is basically a 24hour coffeeshop n the Western food here is quite noteworthy. There are the usual roast meat n fish ball noodle stalls. The chze char here is worth a try
The zhi char's food is flavourful, fresh ingredients too I think, reasonably priced, impressively fast for a busy dinner time, and quick response also for requests like extra plates etc, no complain whatsoever.
I liked the Xiang Lai claypot herbal bak kut tea.
Neighbourhood Food centre with a variety of meals, some open for 24hours. Recommend to try the yong tau foo.
Many seatings, I had zi char, very reasonable price. 4 dishes with 2 meat, 1 tofu, 1 veg, $35
One of the bigger coffeeshop on the area that is 24hr.
Lor Mee is pretty decent
Its a coffeeshop ranging from pau to nasi bernayi and their muslim store have very good sambal cuttlefish...you should try. I like it and also their beef rendang is well cooked
Good coffee shop to have a meal, some stalls are open 24/7 and they range from mixed vegetables, western, and seafood.
Awesome tasting mala but kinda expensive tho
Place is not exactly the cleanest, but food is decent, good supper place with fishball noodles, char grill bar & prata/indian food.
24 hour coffeeshop under Kim San Lin group, good n cheap, the only ONE within Zhenghua n upper bukit timah road
Close to the Bukit Timah Mtb Trial, perfekt to get a good snack or lunch between riding.
Great selection of affordable food!
Great variety of food and lots of dining table available. Cleaniness of the place could be improved upon though.
Nice food! And it's 24/7 as well. Good place to be when you're craving for supper!
Nice E-mian soup, Yishun 925 chicken rice and rojak.
Very nice rojak and other Chinese food, Malay food, Indian food, Western food and others. Nice coffee and other drinks. Open 24 hours.
Lots of nice good food.. convenience location for cyclist n hiker after finish Chestnut ride n hike...
Cash only food court and it has quite a big variety of food options. Convenient for the neighborhoods😊
This is a 24 hours coffee shop with good Western. The minced meat noodle is good also!
Went here for the KKM. Would say not it's bad, but It was a but hyped by my friend. Its was MEH. But worth a try.
It's open 24hrs. The chee chong fun and chee kueh available in the morning is one of my favourite.
Nice food, noisy environment, not a very clean surrounding.
NASI PADANG LETS GO!!!!!! 🙌
Food wise not too bad but price wise a bit ex.
Lots of new food stalls. Ok ok.
Many good food there.. The bah kut teh is a must try.
Zhi char stall food is reasonably pricrd
Always crowded
Nice place to view the sunset and good place to try your luck on fishing
I like the mix vegetables stall. Price also reasonable fair.
Good food court with varieties of food selection and cleanliness.
Self service and so very rushed place
One of the longest surviving food centrensince my childhood
Nice coffeeshop with good variety of food.
Lot of coffee shops n hawker food.
24hrs western food & teochew porridge.
If wan 2eat at nite,l this is e place.
Good value for money food
Wasten food very nice can try
decent food
Food is average? Plenty of seats. There is also a smoking area. Very convenient for smokers.
The food is delicious and diverse, making it the most popular spot among residents in the HDB complex!
The fish balls at Longxing Million Fish Ball Noodles are delicious and have no fishy smell. They are delicious.
