Reviews of Kopi Plus (Kopi +)
First visit today to this quaint little coffeeshop, hidden away at 11 Clover Way. It is easy to miss this gem if you are not observant but if you managed to spot it, you are in for a treat.
Though small, it has a good mix of food stalls - Indian, Malay, Chinese and of course the all important drink stall which serves up your eggs, bread and coffee!
Tried Lin Yu Mei Sarawak Kolo Mee as I was missing the Oil Town Kolo Mee near my old office and whilst it wasn't as good, it makes for a decent bowl of hearty breakfast.
Noodles look dry but as with all kolo mee, looks are mostly deceiving. I can almost say that each strand of noodles was coated evenly with the pork lard oil with fried garlic which gave it a very aromatic fragrance. With the well seasoned minced pork, it all but elevated the overall flavour of the noodles. The chilli was interesting. It looked like freshly blended chilli and was good. As mentioned, it is a decent bowl of kolo mee.
Great local coffeeshop with good and cheap food, esp the Malay food and Chicken Rice stalls. Good service too
