Reviews of Mui Siong Minced Meat Noodles and Porridge(Ubi)
A most delightful foodcourt dining experience. The bak chor noodles was good, but the strength is clearly in their servings of liver. Very generous and cooked al dente (if ever this chichi term could be applied to the humble Ter Kua aka pig liver) like how my mum cooks it. The noodles could be cooked just a tad less, but that is probably being picky. The chili was not bad. The porridge was also very good. I liked that it is not salty at all, and diners can salt it to their desired level. The pork slices were generous and lean, which generally means more cost to them as lean meat (as opposed to fatty meat) is expensive. Porridge man even asked me how I would like my eggs...a very Starbuckish gesture in a humble foodcourt. A very healthy breakfast if you ask to do without the century egg, which I did. I am sure it will even be more tasty if I just went the full-blown century egg pork porridge, but alas my cholesterol warning alarm had already gone off quite violently with the liver soup. And the ambience is foodcourt nice - I am not only presented with very clean aesthetic hand-washing points adorned with fake greenery, but also life-size wall stickers of Michael Jackson and Madonna in their signature poses. Obviously the owner of this foodcourt pays not only attention to the food quality, but the overall dining experience as well for the average worker in Ubi.
This stall knows how to cook the liver. Perfectly done. If only more hawkers use some initiative to level up their quality simply by controlling the time to boil the liver.
The soup could be better. I felt it's a bit flat.
They noodle portion is small.
Fish ball is mediocre.
The sliced pork is tasty.
At $5.80, I think the portion should be bigger.
Went around 10.30am no queue. This foodcourt got Aircon and clean so don’t need to worry about the hot weather. Ordered the dry liver + noodle. The Liver thick and tender. The texture is close to perfection. The sauce is flavourful with pork lard and when everything is mix total 🟰 Perfect bowl of Dry Liver. Noodle is average and soup is just nice not salty. Definitely will return. Thumb up for the good food.
Same thick juicy smooth perfectly cooked pig's liver. Differentiating themselves from the other branches with the addition of a fuzhou meat ball. Soup stock was bit of a let down. Lacked in all body, depth and porky goodness. More a bean sprout flavoured soup.
Reasonably priced.
Their pork liver is definitely one of the best I had ever eaten. Thickness of the liver was just nice and tender. Broth was rich and flavorful too. Highly recommend !!
Famous for the tender yet crunchy livers, and it did not disappoint! BCM was average though, with decent amount of pork lard and vinegar.
Located in Recess Time foodcourt, across the street from Ubi driving Center front gate.
9am weekday was peaceful with no queue and ample of seating at this aircon foodcourt.
Uncle was very attentive and immediately got to work. His other colleague came over and helped with money collection and plating the bowls.
Cautionary note is to inform Uncle if you prefer less sauce or spiciness as per your preference. It’s a very flavorful meal and we found ourselves more thirsty than usual for the next few hours.
Food quality is good and will return to try the dry liver next time.
Parking was not an issue.
Don’t feel like the original Mui siong noodles at veerasamy. Even the one at Alexandra has more minced pork looking soup. But overall a decent bowl w 3 nicely cooked liver.
** car park is per hour parking of $1.80
Don't know how i bookmarked this place but the liver is so good. The soup taste like what my late grandma has made. Too bad I had to rush thru the breakfast as I parked illegally outside to save $1.61 per hour parking charge in the building.
Not a cheap breakfast at $5.80 but they didn't skimp on the ingredients
Hands down the best bak chor mee. The owner is the brother of famous Veerasamy road’s bak chor mee. Pig liver is high quality and cooked perfectly at all times.
Fabulous! Very nice liver soup, thick and tender and juicy! No regret coming all the way from Yio Chu Kang to Ubi of 25 minutes driving. The stall assistant was very kind, when I asked for one bowl of minced pork noodle $5.80 and one liver soup , total $11, he advices me it is too much, in case I overeating😅 so I added just $1 for liver! Thank You So Much🙏🌹 for so customers oriented! 👏👏👏
This place is simply legendary.Be prepared to wait during lunch time as it gets really crowded.
their specialty is the pork liver noodle soup.its amazing how well the texture and taste of the pork liver when handled by a master.
It only took me one try to convince me this is the best Pork Liver Noodle in Singapore.Full stop.
Located inside Recess Time,it’s fully air conditioned and has a nice vibe to it with the low lighting ambience.
Parking is an issue during peak lunch period but it’s manageable.
update: Price has increased to $7 for the liver dry with noodle.non proportional price adjustment.i’ll just skip eating all together.dropping 2 stars
Nice air-conditioned foodcourt with no crowd when i came on a MOnday morning at 11.30am.
Thats great for me as i got my bowl within 5 mins, no Q at all.
High marks for the chilli. Rarely do i find such good spicy chilli in a bowl.
Liver was thick and nice as well. Overall a great bowl for me.
Sadly parking was terrible and i had to just park by the side, eat a rush meal and go off.
Pretty tough to find a spot for this area as its just across the driving school so this would hinders me to come again.
Pork liver is a must to try. Is thick and well cook.
I tried dry minced meat noodles. Don't mind eating every week. Portion is generous for $5.80.
Is in aircon environment.
Love the thick cut liver cooked to perfection & the tasty soup that’s full of umami. Noodles was a disappointment, as was overcooked & lumpy. Not al dente & almost powdery in taste & texture. Not sure if it’s the poor quality of the noodles or the chef overcooking it. At $6, it’s still ok, considering the amount of liver served. Value for money.
💯💯💯I heard so much inconsistency about the stall but I guess not today ‼️😆
✅Noodles - El dente
✅Soup - One of the best pork liver soup I’ve had and didn’t feel thirsty afterwards.
✅Ingredients - Pretty 😍 fresh
If you are servicing your car around Ubi area and a ardent BCM (bar chor mee) lover, this is a good place to enjoy a good bowl…and a nice kopi O too 😆😆😆

Big pieces of pork liver. Went on a sat and there is no queue. The whole food court has only a few stall opening. Most ppl (not that many ppl either) were eating this. This stall is famous. Although price is high, you pay for quality. Good for liver lovers.
Tried their dry liver noodles and i absolutely loved it.
The liver were super fresh and succulent and the special sauce was very appetising. They even have pork lard for it!
Best liver soup, fish cake nice as well.
It is located behind comfort driving centre
There are no pictures and it is confusing when you think you have to top up liver. Regular item comes with 2 fishballs, 2 pieces of fishcake and some sliced lean meat and liver. If you add liver for $1, then you would get additional 4-5 chunky slices, which I feel is too much. Just go with the regular unless you are a huge liver fan. The soup is thick, quite yummy but Seng Kee's version at Serangoon Garden Market is still a shade tastier. Worth a shot. I will be back to try the dry version.
The liver soup is definitely the star of the stall! The sliced liver is perfectly cooked and the soup is really sweet with meat flavour. Every scoop is full of fresh flavourful sliced and minced pork. The noodle is yummy too! Will surely be back!
If you love pork liver, minced pork noodles , this is the place to be
Nice and savoury liver soup with dry mee. Really made the day.
Delicious noodles from Mui Siong. Always back for their pork liver. Thick cut and just the right doneness.
Fourth time here since near our factory whenever blood is needed. 😂
Will tried other variations from the store.
One of the best BCM with good livers
👍👍
