The food at the stall is always one of my go-to at this food court. Food is tasty & delicious. Sauce is super sweet. So ask for less sauce if you r watching out for your sugar intake. My disappointment came from it being a take away this time round. The rice just doesn’t taste right when doing take aways here. Rice became soggy & wet. Portion was generous and the drink is nice. Just doesn’t work the same as eating there. When dining in, there’s even a bowl of soup, which is nice to balance the sweetness of the sauce. The rice also wouldn’t taste soggy. I’ll not hesitate to order there if I can dine in. But I’d rather choose something else to take away in the future.

Chili is the sweet kind. Chicken and fish is grilled nicely without becoming too dry. Curry has the lemak taste

Kinda overhyped right now. Especially the curry is not it. The chicken was good though. Chilli is on the sweet side.

My first contact with this stall was in 2008 and I ate it quite frequently up to around 2013. Since I was in the area nearby recently, I decided to go eat it again. I got the fish seat and was pleasantly surprised that the taste is still the same from a decade ago. The only change is that the sambal chilli is no longer self service and I didn't get any ikan bilis in my portion.

I ate here so many times and i have to say that i am totally addicted. In my opinion, fish tastes better than chicken, problably because i love fish. The black sauce and the chilli sauce is the hightlight of the dish, not even mention the creamy curry sauce with coconut smell. Remember to tell the auntie to deep the fish/chicken 2 times in the black sauce to increase satisfaction, but i forgot about that😂

Ayam Bakar Set $7.02 (UP$7.80) Never falls! Always come here look around the other food stall think think, I'll end up still coming back to this stall My go-to order, grilled chicken that came with those dark sauce and curry sauce all over my rice too. Love the Sambal chilli that came with it that you can even bite onto the anchovies. Cabbage was yummy and also came with a sunny side up Used the fairprice App to pay and you get 10% discount

Tender and juicy chicken thigh with that signature grilled taste and then coated with that special dark sweet sauce to bring out the flavour even more. Awesome sambal chilli with savoury ikan billis bits adds a kick to an already flavorful experience. Usually the vege side dish is just a side-show for this type of dishes, but not this one, the cabbage is soft and substantial and adds on nicely to the balance. And finally, the generous pour of curry over everything sealed all the goodness in and ensured that every bite will be a rewarding one!

Located in Kopi Thiam on level 5 of Plaza Singapura. Parking options available at the multi storey carpark but be aware that it’s rather tight. Last eaten this years ago and was so delighted that it still tastes as good. Rice was fluffy, Ayam bakar juicy and tender. Sambal is loaded with anchovies and does not pack too much heat. Kicap sauce went well with the slightly charred meat. The sweet, savoury notes of this dish just combines so well together.

Delicious chicken set. Super tender chicken thigh covered in salvory and sweet sauce. Still my favourite choice in Plaza Sing food court since my secondary school days more than 30 years ago.

The Riverside Indonesian BBQ is located inside the Plaza Singapura Kopitiam Food Court. Visited the food court during dinner time so there is a crowd. Although there is a crowd, the waiting for the seats is quite reasonable. The ordering time at the food stall is quite fast and the service is quite efficient. The chicken and fish set is ordered. The rice is so delicious because of the sauces and the chilli. The chicken and fish are also grilled to perfection! Eating everything together is amazing with the explosion of flavour. Definitely worth trying!

Yummy Ayam Panggang! Tender grilled chicken bathed in a sweet sauce with egg, veggies and rice drenched in gravy. Their ayam panggang is the epitome of comfort food! Slightly more expensive than your average food court but quality and the generous serving definitely makes up for it. Service if efficient and this food court spacious and clean!

The OG cheap and good food in Town! Ayam Panggang Set is the must try, juicy chicken thigh meat with the gravy & curry.. so so delicious. Do ask for more chilli cause on default only 1 small scoop.

Set Meal #1 @ $9.80 This meal consists of 2 drumsticks (both are relatively small, that's why the auntie gave 2), an egg, vegetables, soup and a sour plum drink. Filling? Yes. It fills your stomach. All good to go back to work after this. Tasty? Yes. Tastes remains about the same all these years. (20 odd years?) Pricy? Yes, relatively. Having said that, what can you get at this food court that is not about the same price? Return again? Without a doubt. Grouse? The chicken is a tad hard, especially at the skin/joint areas.

Great curry, ayam bakar (sweet black sauce), cabbage, egg and hearty soup! Living up to the standards even after renovations of Kopitiam food court. Highly recommend the Chicken set with more curry sauce on the side! Look for stall inside Kopitiam food court.

Lovely Indonesian Food and price is Just below 6 Singapore Dollars. Ambiance is Fantastic. Must visit restaurant. You can see how Chef preparing your food.

Overall is good. Just that the meat for gravy is too sweet. But the sambal were extremely good, dry prawn sambal. Might try again next time if I were there.

Yummy chicken and cabbage - we enjoyed the curry sauce! Goes really well with piping hot rice!

Have visited since i was a teen and its standard has not dropped. Quality BBQ chicken, dark sauce, curry, soup and even the side veges are nice. A must try food if you pass by Plaza Singapura. Dark sauce could a bit thick though, a bit lesser would be more balance.

Comfort food. If u love Indonesian ayam panggang (esp the sauce, which tastes the same after more than 20 years), then u should try this. Price has been slightly increased. Not really a fan of their sambal ikan bilis (anchovies), plus portion of squid is too little.. not worth the extra abt $2. Fish is so-so as well. However, i will come back for the ayam panggang.

One of the first Ayam Penyet I've tried in Singapore. The dark sweet sauce is still the best! Chicken was dry and overcooked on my most recent visit. I noticed they had just too many chicken drumsticks on the drill. Hope they make some adjustments.to improve the quality

Very value for money meal, wonderful tasting sauces (curry and sweet soy sauce) that goes well with their rice and chicken. My go to for BBQ chicken and for a filling meal. I usually add vegetables to my chicken set because its pretty good :)

Really good food court stall, and don't be scared by the queue which moves really fast. The Ayam paggang (chicken with black sauce) is amazingly tasty!
