Came across this little cafe at South Bridge road. Coffee and food are surprisingly good! Lunch hour are crowded and can tell those are regular customers. Recommend their Shelter white coffee, Ham and Cheese Sandwich, they are really accommodating to your request, remove the mustard upon knowing my diet constraints, Thank you!

sandwiches were on point! we got three sandwiches to share and we could choose between foccacia and brioche breads. charcoal waffle with the ocean grey (?) gelato was unforgettable. will come back!

First of all, extraordinary service. Loved the dirty matcha, it was bitter and thick, just how I like it. And they use Matchaya 😍 The brioche ham and cheese sandwich was delightful, with 2 large slices of ham and a satisfying cheese pull.

I love this place leh! It’s really giving good vibes, and the location is central, and the service is really good! Pricing wise is really reasonable as well as I looked through the menu although I only got their signature coffees.

One of the best cafes I have been to. Went on Thursday at 6pm and it was pretty quiet. Ordered 2 Shelter Blends, 2 Century Egg Porridges, 1 Plain Ol' Fries and 1 Rosemary and Garlic Foccacia Bread. The service there was amazing. I wished the bread could have been a little more seasoned, you can still taste a little garlic and it was still good. All the other foods I have no complaints and they are definitely worth the price. I will definitely be returning to try more of the mains and probably the gelato next time. I highly recommend trying this cafe the next time you are in Chinatown.

Great place to chill and relax over a cup of good coffee and gelato. Friendly Barista and good service. As a side note, it’s air-conditioned. Perfect place while you wait for your Ah Ma, Ah Gong, Auntie, Uncle doing business at the opposite DBS Bank, or shopping at Hong Lim/ Chinatown Point. 😆 Try it! #supportlocal

The food is delicious and the price is so worth it. Drink is also good. I ordered Mocha and White Coffee. For the food it's Chicken Curry and Mee Rebus. Highly recommend for the Curry, so delicious and smells good.

Had a hot black and a hot white. Black was not too acidic and white was smooth and pleasant. Nice cosy cafe with an industrial interior. Warm service from the staff. Were the only customers at 10am on a weekday. Think they turn into a bar at night. They sell mains and gelatos as well. Will return to check out their gelatos when I’m in the area. Ironically, the shelter acted as my shelter as I had work to be done and needed a quiet spot ✌🏻

Service was great! Very accommodating. The grapefruit oolong is amazingly refreshing. Just when I thought Singapore is a well connected city, many cafés shockingly are stingy with their WiFi usage for customers. This place is an exception. That makes this simple cafe a nice spot to hangout and wait in between meetings in chinatown

If you're an Aussie in Singapore and you're desperate for a good coffee, this is the place to come. You will not find a bit of coffee in Singapore. Tastes even better than Australian coffee.

Nice place to chill from the hot sun. Just me wife and the boy hiding from the hot sun on a Saturday. Ordered a grapefruit olong tea and a ice mocha. Just wow on the glasses for the drinks. Nothing cheap used here. All good stuff. Guy that serves us also very friendly.

My friend and I have been back a few times because they just have the BEST service. The food is delicious and the gelatos are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Google isn't allowing me to review the food n service but 10/10. The drinks are pretty unique as well. No GST, no Service charge 🤌🏼🤌🏼

Soju Watermelon (great pair with vanilla gelato) 2. Soju Lemon 3. Soju Peach Overall: Its a great place to chill and vibe with the great music and friendly staff and boss. Always came by here after school to have my Ice Black as it’s my favourite. A place to study too as it’s not as loud as else where. Affordable food and drinks selection as well.
