Enjoyed every dish here! Heard quite a few mixed reviews but thankfully my experience was quite alright and the food was pretty decent. 🦀 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞 ($24): Choice of lemon butter or miso butter — we got the latter. Rather flavourful with a hint of fresh seafood taste from the crab meats, seaweed and ebiko. The portion size surpassed my expectations 🤩 Preferred this over the udon as it was lighter on the palette. ⁣ ⁣ 🦆 𝐃𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐔𝐝𝐨𝐧 ($21): In-house cured duck breast was juicy and tender. The meat complemented nicely with chewy udon tossed in rose sauce. ⁣ 🥔 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐬 ($7): Got the half portion to share, which was more than enough for 2 pax. Truffle flavour was pronounced and even came with cheese shavings which I thought was a nice touch. Check out @mentaik.o on ig for more! 🍵⁣

Love the coffee here! I had the ice cloud coffee and the sun kiss chocolatte, both were delicious! reasonably priced and staff were really nice and helpful. Loved the atmosphere of the place and there’s quite a lot of seats too. Definitely recommend coming here for a cup of coffee!

went here to eat & celebrate bday on a Friday night! the staff were all super super friendly :) we went pretty late at about 8:15 pm but they still allowed us in and the service was amazing! the food also came rlly fast and everything tasted great! they were so helpful in helping us store the cake too, and they also offered to give us serving plates & helped us take a family photo! would definitely visit this place again~ I would recommend getting the redwine charsiew, crab linguini and duck rose udon! as for the drinks, the matcha latte & cold brew white were good!

Iced Kuro Gama Coffee is a bomb!!! Crab Linguine Pasta (spicy crab) is a must try! A cosy shop, and would suggest adding soundproofing materials to reduce noise level.

highly recommended. we ordered chilli crab udon and crab linguine, both were soooo goood! but if the chilli crab sauce can be less spicier, that would be perfect. chuffle was amazing as well I also highly recommend getting the intense iced latte!! it was so good. overall, the food and coffee 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. we will definitely be coming back to try the other items from the menu!

You can make reservation which is helpful. The place was busy on a Fri lunch time but you can get a table if you walk in. The udon and pasta are both excellent. There are selections of interesting drinks. The chuffle is very nice.

Came here on a Friday evening and the dishes were amazing! I highly recommend the Mentaiko Tater tots if you’re a Mentaiko lover! Also tried their cocktails as they are having their 1 for 1 every wed and fri!👍🏻

Our first time coming here and it was great. Their food and drinks were on point that we ordered some more of their signature drinks menu. Service was very good too. They also gave us a nice card with a Polaroid of us together. Totally recommend here 👍🏻

Drinks here are amazinggg!!! Wide range of choices to choose from. Drinks are really interesting and not too sweet. The tiramisu cloud latte was 100/100. We also ordered the Pandan latte which turned out surprisingly good! Never knew Pandan would work so well with coffee, a really interesting combination. Definitely cannot leave without trying! Was super surprised at how good the quality of food was. Portions are also huge and good for sharing. Worth the price. Highly recommend the Grilled Prawn Capellini. A good place to go with friends. Will definitely be back. Have also tried the Joo Chiat outlet a year ago and food/drinks were very good too.

Nice and chill cafe with great pasta and drinks! The staff is super welcoming and immediately poured water for us when we sat down. Ordered the crab linguine in miso butter ($24) and it was so flavourful and umami! My partner had their Wagyu Beef Ragout ($21) which was very meaty with a good depth of flavour. For drinks, I got their Apple Yuzu Fresca ($7), a really pretty drink that isn’t too sweet and very refreshing for a hot day. Altogether a pleasant time at Tomo Cafe, with helpful staff who are attentive and warm.

the seating area isn’t very big, so you might want to reserve a place beforehand to be safe! the udon is handmade in store, so it was not chewy. the staff did warn us about this beforehand, but i personally didn’t quite enjoy the texture. the crab linguine was yummy but quite dry, more sauce would’ve been nice. the tater tots was decent, i’ve tried better so i would not recommend this. overall the food portion size was abit disappointing, but i still give this place 4 ⭐️ bc of the sesame latte! it was so yummy and thick 👍🏻 if you try anything here, let it be the sesame latte!

so happy tomo opened an outlet near me! food & service are both exceptional as usual, and they have a new menu with dishes exclusive to this outlet! MUST TRY: mentaiko scallops and anything with chuffles. mentaiko scallops literally melts in your mouth, eat it immediately after served! the chuffles was amazing too, crispy on the outside and light on the inside. have it with a scoop of ice cream to complete your meal the duck rose udon was generous in portion and meat was very tender. would recommend sharing this dish as it might be jelak for some! tried the iced kuro goma coffee for the first time and it was soooo good. if you love sesame you have to try this! very creamy and rich in taste

Fantastic food!! The tater tots and chilli crab udon were especially grand. The staff and service were impeccable. And they have this really cool bar table with an integrated river. So we had a good time dining while looking at the fishing cats!

The ambience and decor was really nice and clean (even the toilet!) We ordered 2 mains and 1 side to share for 3 pax and the portions were really huge. tiger prawn capellini was really good, prawns were fresh and pasta was cooked just nice too. tater tots with truffle mayo was decent, but the roasted pork jowl is where it’s at! though do take note that it does take a while to come :) service was exemplary and staff was patient, helpful, and offered top notch service. they dimmed the lights close to 1900 and it was a really nice and cosy ambience.

Went on a Friday night and the cafe was pretty crowded. The staff were all smiley and welcoming. Ordered the chili crab udon and grilled tiger prawn capelin. The udon tasted quite okay, nothing really fantastic and the crabmeat seemed quite lacking. The other dish, on the other hand, was really nice. Prawns were nicely grilled and went well with the mentaiko and capelini. Will probably return again to try the other items.

Service was attentive and superb! Food didn't disappoint especially the Tomo signature and Tomo cloud coffee. Must try... Kuro goma milk and iced cloud coffee was good! The udon was freshly made and it is softer than the factory made ones. First time coming across Udon carbonara. Interesting. Though the carbonara was a little bland, I would have liked it with more cheese and chilli flakes. Tomo breakfast was quite good. The pork chop was tender and the toast eaten with the hot scrambler egg was delicious. Only complaint was the tables and chairs across the bar counter were too small and quite uncomfortable . Do ask for the regular tables nearer to the entrance door for more comfort.

First-time visit to Tomo Cafe, and due to the weekend, the place was bustling, creating a lively atmosphere. Understandably, it was a bit noisy, but that's expected on weekends. The main reason for coming here was to try their Ice Kuro Goma Coffee—black sesame dairy-free cream, milk, and espresso. Thankfully, it didn't disappoint; it was quite delightful. Additionally, we ordered a serving of mentaiko shoestring fries. The fries were average, but what stood out was the excellent service. The staff was proactive in refilling our empty glasses with water, and they were very friendly.

They also have this mini river at the bar area filled with cats fishing which is super cute! :) Easily accessible as cafe is less than 5 mins away from maxwell mrt.

A must try cafe! Everything was a hit! My girls and I went on a weekday afternoon and we tried the following: Chuffle (Churro Waffles) Brekkie which was amazingly crisp and light. It was the highlight of the table!! Scrambled eggs were fluffy and generous, creating a pleasantly sweet yet savoury experience. Duck rosé udon which was very unique. Udon was freshly made and so yummy! Very generous slices of duck provided. Mentaiko tori karaage and shoestring truffle fries were nice and crispy, addictive and great for sharing. We ordered a medley of drinks that were wonderful in aesthetics and even better in taste. Special mention for iced matcha strawberry cloud latte; it was a showstopper. Overall, we would like to commend on the quality of service as well!! The staff there were very attentive in making sure our experience was the best it could be. It left us very touched and it was such a heartwarming time spent there. Would go back there again!!

First time here with my friends but definitely won’t be the last! We devoured the Truffle Fries. The Wagyu Beef Ragout was simply delectable, we ate and left no crumbs! The Crab Linguine was fab too and the vibes were immaculate in the cafe.

Hits & misses for the food. Food turns cold quite fast on serving. Prices a little on the high side. Inconsistent service standard. Told to scan QR to order. But, next table that was occupied later had server taking order instead. Guests were in office wear. Would have preferred cash payment or PayNow options.

Lovely cafe. The hot/cold drinks are amazing!! This is definitely a place to come back, just for that. Especially the black sesame coffee cold beverage. Even the pandan coffee drink, was wow! One of the very few places that doesnt charge you extra for oat milk! The pasta we ordered were a little on the rich side, probably just our choice selection. Service is attentive. Very attentive. They found out it was my birthday and had Polaroid pic of us and a birthday card from the cafe staff personally written. Very thoughtful touch.

The food and service was so likeable! Staff did kept a very close eye on the time limit though so beware, but anyway fun fact their coffee machine has a whole bunch of foil Pokemon cards. Wish I took a picture of them before I left. The food was a good portion, I had the chuffles (!) waffle with chicken and spicy honey sauce, very nice! My colleagues ate udon and pasta, they liked it too. Drinks were also delectable, I will visit their Joo chiat outlet soon.

Got the Duck Rose Udon and Iced Tiramisu Latte. The iced tiramisu latte was creamy and overall decent! Personally prefer the coffee taste to be more prominent so that the taste can be more layered and not just milky throughout the entire drink. For the duck rose udon, the duck breast meat was unfortunately cold and tough upon serving. The sauce was okay though it felt jelat towards the end. The udon was of the right texture though! Overall, the service was very friendly and helpful. The one/two-seater tables were slightly cramped, and can be a bit uncomfortable. Quite a cosy place with a nice bar. Will return again to try other dishes if I am around the area!

Took a break at this cafe & tried their signature Goma latte. While the drink was interesting, the process to getting my payment done was the most painful experience. Order is supposed to be made online and their Scan To Order card specifically state GPay is acceptable. But when I reached the payment site, there isn't any option for me and I had to key in my credit card details. Who brings out their physical credit card these days? I have my cards all stored in GPay. So basically, there is nothing the staff can do and they have to check with their tech support about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
