Tried this for breakfast as one of the popular traditional breakfast chains. I can say it’s worth the hype. Located near the Raffles place MRT which is convenient since we visited after our morning walk at Merlion park. The kaya butter toast set has the perfect crunch and works well with the perfect soft boiled eggs and Kopi. As expected, the queue may get a bit long in peak hours (we visited Friday morning). Price is affordable and this is a must try when you visit Singapore. Their traditional breakfast is very filling and provided the right energy in our activities for the dau. We will definitely miss this.

Kelly, Ah Chong and team really give their best service to all customers, I'm personally grateful because they know my coffee order by heart. Before even making it to the cashier, they never fail to prepare my morning perk me up by giving me my ice kopi c upsize just before making it to the front of the line. I've always supported Ya Kun because of the quality of their coffee and food and best service too!

Packed Yakun branch with lots of customers at all times due to them being located in such a office-centric area. Despite that, service is especially good and kudos to manager Kelly who goes out of her way for her regulars to provide exceptional customer service :)

Although it's hidden at the end of a long hallway filled with different stalls and types of food, once you find it, it's like an oasis for an early morning rise. Delicious, a la carte, local food, at a price so low I thought I was stealing THEM of money. If you're looking for a breakfast place while visiting, go here.

Yakun is one of my favourite places for breaks, and I've been to many outlets. Food served at 1 Raffles Place Yakun is consistent with other outlets. Thumbs up👍for serving warm eggs, as compared to others that served luke warm eggs.

They totally lift my spirits before I dive into the day with my grumpy boss. It's like having a breakfast buddy that's always got your back. Definitely check it out if you need a mood boost in the morning!

Fantastic toast and coffee. The toast were fresh, crisp with the right amount of kaya and butter. Coffee was flavourful. Staffs were awesome bringing bright smiles on their faces while they prepare the food and drinks! Best place for local breakfast!

Always a joy to come to this outlet and be greeted with friendly and honest staff. From cashier, to coffee maker, even the aunty doing the bread. A smile despite being probably the most busiest Yakun in SG due to crowds from CBD and tourists.

The staff is friendly, attentive and quick at serving the food during the most peak hours. Accidentally left my cardholder in the shop and managed to get it back from the staff once I realized it after a few hours. Staff who still can keep up the honest, positive and cheerful attitude in a fast pace environment is a GEM hard to find nowadays!

If the toast box is thick on the outside and inside, Yakun is a thin and crispy style. The steam toast was a bit fragrant(?) so I didn't like it. S$14

Even though it was a busy morning, the clerks were friendly and I was happy! As expected, it’s delicious! The atmosphere was a bit noisy and narrow, but it felt like a trip so it was okay! The toast box feels soft on the outside and the inside, and the Yakun is thinner and crispier. Both are delicious! It's at the end of the aisle at the department store!

If you visit Singapore, you must try Kaya Toast at least once. I visited around 8 in the morning and many locals were having breakfast. If you choose coffee or tea and add money, you can change to ice, so it's a good idea to add the ice porridge and change it.
