Tea is not as tasty as other stalls. After renovation, the place looks good and has more sittings. Usually crowded all the time.

We visit Ya Kun almost every week (sometimes more than once a week). Today, my daughter accidentally kicked the table and spilt a saucer containing half-boiled eggs. The staff at the NEX store were quick to help clean up; when I returned to the counter to pick up the rest of our order, I found that the staff had further added an extra order of the eggs (as a replacement). We didn't ask for and certainly weren't expecting this. We like Ya Kun for the thinly sliced kaya toasts. After the above incident, we like it even more, and look forward to visiting again next week.

My favorite to get is the Kaya Toast with butter set whenever I visit. Set comes with soft boiled egg and a choice of beverage. Quality is consistent and price is reasonable.

Expect a long queue snaking all the way out till the next unit because of shortage in manpower. Poor chap has to juggle with cashiering and making drinks, while one other staff is in charge of food. I was here on a Saturday morning, joined the queue, and it took me 15mins before it was my turn to order. Quality of the food and drinks are as consistent as what you'd expect from any other YaKun outlets.

I had a wonderful experience at Yakun Kaya Toast in NEX. The kaya toast was perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, and the coffee was rich and aromatic.

Yakun has always been one of my favourite toast breakfast locations. Their consistency across the outlets is great and the eggs are large and fresh. Their main dishes are fine without being great. Very crowded in the mornings as people get their breakfast here.

Good old favourite kaya toast, great coffee. There are things to be improved on in terms of many trays left uncleared long after the customers have left and lack of clearly marked tray return area, but overall this local breakfast classic is great!

The Kaya toast is not up to standard. The butter all melted when I got the toast, unlike other outlets. Butter is still in solid form.

Great food and drinks. One of the better yakun for drinks. The soft-boil eggs were well done, kaya toast with enough butter and the teh was gao enough. Staff were very efficient and friendly too. The shop location is also quite difficult to find. Located at a dead end behind Stuffd. Sadly, aircon was not working but they had a blower in the shop for ventilation. Definitely will visit again.
