Special shout out to Shi Yoong at Car Choice who guided me throughout the buying process from initial contact to getting the keys to my car. Meet Shi Yoong at a Car Choice road show event at North Point Mall. I was shopping at the Mall with a friend and saw the event and decided to look at the cars on displayed out of curiosity. We were approached by Shi Yoong asking if we needed any help or had any questions. I mentioned to him casually that I was just looking but am curious about the deal that his company was offering. He was very kind and sincere and told us that we are welcome to sit down with him and he can go through some numbers with us and show us what the offers are (even if I'm not buying and just curious about the pricing package). We ended up talking about 45 mins and went through the pricing package check list and he answered all the questions I had. During the 45 minutes "meeting", there was no pressure or any sales tactics from Shi Yoong to "coerced" me into buying a car so he could close a deal. It was a very relaxing and "no pressure" interaction with Shi Yoong during our initial contact. After going home and thinking over the package that was offered, I decided that it's a pretty good deal the company was offering. I decided to seek quotations from different car dealerships the next day for comparison. My experiences with the other 2 dealerships were so different! 1 sales person couldn't be bothered to sit down with me to run through the numbers and was vague in answering my questions. The 3rd sales person from another dealership was nice and sat down with me but couldn't present me an offer that matched what Shi Yoong offered. So on the last day of Car Choice road show, I went back and looked for Shi Yoong. He was the same humble & down to earth person that I met 2 days ago even though I was back to confirm what's on offer and get answers to more questions I had. What I appreciated most during my interactions with Shi Yoong throughout the buying process ... (1) He made an effort to find out/confirm something if he didn't know the answers to my questions. And it's usually within the hour or not more than a few hours. (2) He was always humble & down to earth with a great service attitude even after I closed the deal and paid the initial deposit for my car. (3) Up to the day of my keys collection, he was always very friendly and humble while I dealt with him. Shi Yoong is definitely a stand out in the Car Salesperson industry and I appreciate all his help and effort during my car buying process! 👍👍👍

My perception of going into a used car dealership and getting pressured tactics to buy on the spot is now completely changed after visiting Car Choice! I was interested in a pre-owned Citroen C5 Aircross and the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a cheerful Sales lady, Chloe, who patiently arranged a test drive and after the test drive did not at any time, used Sales Pressure Techniques on me. I waited for some time and when I decided to go down to purchase, it was booked by another sales person's client. Throughout the whole process, Chloe was very professional by constantly updating the potential to purchase the car when the deal with the previous client went south. Upon signing the Sales Agreement, I was able to take the ride within 3 days! I was especially pleased that he helped me secure a better price for my trade-in right from the start. Despite initially informing me that I would have to wait at least three months for my new car, Shi Yong managed to deliver it earlier than expected, all while keeping me updated on its status throughout the process. We were served by Jun Kai (WCEGA plaza), as we reached out to him after spotting a second hand honda freed. He queried on our needs and selection to understand us better, while there was absolutely no hard selling throughout the service. He also embraced the company values well of providing honest service for the customer buying experience. Jun Kai was very responsive and polite, despite our occasional queries past his office hours or weekends. He also proactively helped us patch up a minor defect in leather seats, sent for STA evaluation, settled previous outstanding loans, tracked new insurance application and amendments, and even helped us in retaining our old number plate. Such attention to details, however minute they may be, creates a fuss-free buying experience for our family (esp when this is our first dealing with a PI). Jun Kai remains very helpful even after car delivery. I strongly recommend SG Car Choice and Jun Kai to those looking for a PI on new or pre owned cars.
