Gem is an efficient CS. She replied fast and checked on the car availability if I was able to rebook it on that itself due to booking incorrect date before the host replied me. And also informed me that I’ll get full refund for cancelling the trip before less than an hour. Great service!
Had an issue with payment stretched over a few days, the matter was brought up to Ms Lai and she resolved it in a span of a few hours. She even went the extra mile to personally give me a call to apologise and assure that everything has been settled. Great customer service for Ms Lai. Thank you so much!

I recently encountered an issue with a booking cancellation with Drive LA, but I am extremely pleased with the assistance I received from their team member, Seca , Despite the initial frustration of being charged for a cancellation I had already made upon receiving a call from a Drive LA team member, Seca promptly addressed my concerns and resolved the issue efficiently.
Seca exceptional customer service skills were evident from the start. She patiently listened to my complaint, empathized with my frustration, and assured me that she would find a solution. Her professionalism and attentiveness made me feel valued as a customer.
What impressed me the most was the speed with which Seca resolved the problem. Within 40 minutes , she took the necessary steps to rectify the situation and ensure that I was not wrongly charged for the cancellation. Her quick actions not only solved the issue but also saved me from potential inconvenience and further frustration.
I greatly appreciate the dedication and efficiency demonstrated by Seca. She displayed a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and went above and beyond to ensure a positive resolution. Thanks to their assistance, my faith in Drive LA's customer service has been restored.

Today I encountered a situation where my takeover of the car keys was delayed because the host was uncotanctable for approximately 45 minutes. I contacted the Drive Lah helpdesk and was attended to by Trixie who was patient in managing my emotions and proactive in trying to contact the host on my behalf. Kudos to Trixie for great service recovery.

Pros
1) Wide variety of cars strategically located at affordable prices compared to competition
2) Almost all the hosts are friendly, prompt, helpful and understanding
3) 24 by 7 seamless customer service support via WA and Calls
4) Ability to use various credit cards including AMEX
5) Waiver of credit card processing fee, early access to promo codes and private events upon attaining pioneer status
Cons
1) Some of the cars rented were not road worthy and even broke down once in Malaysia.
2) Ensure to have a compensive insurance coverage that comes with zero excess as going through Drivelah for any small repairs is definitely not worth it as the charges are higher and one can fix it on the behalf of the host at the fraction of the cost!
3) Drivelah policies can be quite inflexible and not customer centric.
4) Some of listed car's host are non responsive as well as cars no longer with drivelah may still be listed on the platform.
6) Some of the car's Fuel level can be almost empty hence causing severe inconvenience especially if you are in a rush.
7) There is high possibility of your booking being cancelled without prior notice at the very last minute and you are on your own most of the time to book another car. There is also no compensation nor any goodwill gesture if the cancellation is within the stipulated grace period.
Always booked with Drivelah every month, super easy & very affordable too!

As a first timer driver of Drive Lah overall was great. At first the owner of the car rejected me, as I go along not to gave up I get through to rent, thanks TRIXIE.

The process to rent out car was a breeze and there were plenty of demand which is something positive about it.
Cars can be returned with visible scratches and interior scratches which are hard to spot where we can't possibly check every corner upon returned of the car. Nothing to blame drivelah since it is the integrity level and being considerate as a guest. So car owners please be aware.
The part that is not positive is the rent for EV vehicle which there is a mandatory fuel package that guest is not being able to opt out. I do not understand the rationale behind it. Guest who knows how to charge, by all means they get to enjoy the savings from charging themselves. Same time, they do the owner a favor for the next guest since sometimes the rental can be back to back. I as owner do not need to purposely take time out just to charge for the next guest.
If guest do not want to charge, by all means opt in for the fuel package. Yes they pay a bit more for their convenience, to compensate owner to bring to charge which is understandable and acceptable.
So, why do Drivelah wants to mandate this fuel package only for EV cars??
Contacted customer support Patricia for assistance with regards to booking issue related to the host. She was prompt in reply despite it past midnight, and took the matter seriously, reassuring that the team is here to support and find me alternative bookings should the host cancel on his end.

I recently had to cancel a booking with Drive Lah due to some miscommunication. The lady staff who served me was Seca. She was extremely patient in spite of the bad phone connection and had to call me again many times before we could hear one another. She was very helpful and advised me the steps to take, and had also taken in my request seriously, and was very professional. I will certainly book with Drive lah again if I need a car.

I rented the host's car during CNY period and it was easy to book the car via the website/app. Although I definitely recommend to do this in advance as you need to wait for the host to confirm the booking unlike other rental platforms. The website/app can be buggy sometimes (unable to click certain buttons or non responsive) but Patricia (customer service agent) really helped us big time. Especially at 12+am on the second day of CNY. She efficiently assisted us in getting the trip started and navigate the platform easily, bypassing all the bugs. Really thankful for this platform and the helpful agent behind the scenes.

My first time using an app like drivelah, and Lai was very patient and helpful in explaining and solving some of my issues. In such a competitive tech space, I think providing top notch service would make a big difference!
Basically as a car owner I had some issues with payment for fuel inclusion, Lai not only follow up with me and made sure I received my payment, furthermore she took extra steps to make sure this will not happen again in the future!

I’ve been renting out my car on Drive Lah for many months now and really appreciate the convenience that it offers with the contactless pick up and drop off, so that I don’t need to be present to oversee the process. The support team is generally pretty effective in handling my queries and any issues that arise. Jhay especially was prompt and responsive in following up on my concerns in a specific incident where my car reeked of smoke upon drop off.
