The place has been upgraded and I experienced it recently over my last visit. It has installed a gas powered burner, which is important in providing quality and efficient environmental control for all Singaporeans. From 1959 to 1964 I studied in the conservation building (the main temple) where it was used as a village primary school for villagers stayed in Old Holland Road areas.

This columbarium is the resting place for the Hakkas, originated from the 3 counties, Fung Shun 丰顺，Yong Ding 永定 and Da Pu 大浦. That's where they got the name Fung Yong Thai Association.

Came here to bai bai my tai gong for the first time and pleasantly surprised to find a Tu Lou building which houses the Tablets. Da Pu Kek here btw, fellow hakkas :)
