After trying multiple gowns at other places, I really wanted a minimal (less poofy) dress. I found Stitch by Stitch on Instagram and it was the best decision ever! Together with her team, Joan created a beautiful white dress with dark green botanical lace to match our invitations. Thank you Stitch by Stitch for this wonderful experience 🥰

I’ve always been attracted to simple and minimalistic designs that when I first saw Stitch By Stitch Co’s off the rack dresses, I know those were close to what I was looking for. Even though I took some time to decide whether to bespoke my dress with Joan, she was very patient in offering me the different prices and even drawing out my dream dress! Throughout the fittings, Joan was also constantly giving me opinions on what suits my silhouette best, giving me the options for changes and respecting my decisions! Thank you Joan and her team for always being so friendly and accommodating, my wedding wouldn’t have been the same without this A* team :’)

Their gown selections are minimalistic yet attractive if you are planning to look for one. Joan was meticulous, helpful and friendly throughout the entire meet ups. She even gave great advices on how I can consider in customising my ideal gown. She is very accommodating in meeting our schedule. Thank you for making us a happy couple and pretty bride. Joan is always so encouraging, uplifting and suggests the best ideas to incorporate what will suit you and what you like! <3 She really brings the dress of your dreams that screams 'this is so me!' come alive! :D I had so many ideas on the kind of dress I wanted to wear on my wedding day, so I decided to go to Joan with all my ideas. And even when my fickle mindedness requested for changes (as long as it is within the time frame), Joan was also very patient and accommodating. :) I didn't feel pressured or stressed at all, and she gives ample time and space for us to decide as well, be it to go ahead with them or on the design of your gown. Of course, it also depends how long you have before your wedding. But if the lead time allows, PLEASE GO TO STITCH BY STITCH! :D <3 I had such a lovely and pleasant journey with Joan, working and seeing my wedding gown come to life. Plus, I get to keep it too!! ^^

Initially I didnt have any idea of what my dream wedding gown would be. I went to few bridal shops and try on many gowns of different styles/cut. That's when I realised my preferences. I came across SXS IG page while I'm stalking wedding vendors here in Singapore. By the look of her IG, I can see Joan creating dress to brides with different stories and personalities. Modern chic designs inspired from pinterest. I love how she have polls/survey from time to time where she will help brides to be inspired to design their own dresses. Shortly after Circuit Breaker/community quarantine has been slowly lifted(around June), I have hopes that our wedding can push through on Dec. When I tried the Timeless Collection I knew exactly what I wanted. From that base, Joan help me build the dress of my own. (which I never thought I would have because I'm scared of the price of a bespoke piece, but the offer was truly reasonable) So from my first appt, I'm ecstatic that I said "yes to that dress" before i walked out of her studio. For every fitting, I am at ease that the final dress would be beautiful. I was able to enjoy my actual day, I can move freely, I feel I am super confident that I'm ready to say my vow to my husband in the most beautiful dress I've ever worn. And our guests/friends/family that knew me well complimented that my dress was a representation of my true self. This memory will be etched in my heart forever. I hope future brides will have courage to dig deep down within themselves to be inspired to design the dress that they will call their own and Joan will always be there to make it come to life. ❤

Came across stitch by stitch ig page a few years back and fell in love with their dresses. What made me chose SxS was that they do bespoke dresses and that I could either rent them or buy them. Such choices for a fickle-minded person like me won me over (: Miss Joan is really a wonderful person. She really took the time to go into the detail and explained to me how the outcome would look like if I were to change a different look. Was really assured that my dream dress would come true. Highly recommend SxS if you’re looking for dresses out of the norm!
