Wellie Batik makes beautiful shirts (see photo), and the customer service is impeccable. Eric helped me out with a waredrobe emergency. Today, i had an important event to meet our country's leader, and my new batik shirt was too tight. Eric kindly helped to hand deliver a shirt of a larger size to my event location to help me out without hesitation. Thank you, Eric, and Wellie Batik Fashions.

Wow. I'm only sad I did not find them years sooner. Eric was so kind and my size is sadly big. He worked with alteration shop next door to rush a perfect shirt for me, for my friend in Indonesia wedding a week away. Thank you! I'll be back many times!!! Really the shop I've ever visited for Batik. 100 percent recommended, and they have BIG sizes for large ang mo build. Ha ha ha

Hidden in the Holland Village shopping centre this batik store is great. Father and son manage it. They are welcoming and knowledgeable, taking time to understand what customers need. They are not pushy. The old sewing machine has been around for long too and is used daily. It is pleasure to see Uncle using it, and he upgraded it to an electric motor for comfort. I love the authenticity and warmth of this store. The prices are extremely reasonable, considering that many other boutiques charge much higher prices for batik apparel. Do have a look at the reversible tote bags and aprons. They’re the handiwork of the 95 year old owner and make great gifts.

Because this is my great-grandfather's batik shop, he sews batik for more than 40 years and he is still running the shop with energy till today. He always sew the clothes when there's no customers, even when he closes his shop he is still sewing at home and sleep very late at night.
