First 14th September: Booked 3 trips of defect check from Sg Defect Scan. Mr Raja and team did my 1st inspection on 14 September. They were very puntual. After inspecting the whole house, they even explain to us what is the defects of the sticker they pasted. They are quite thorough in the inspection and inspected alot of defects which we might not have noticed. They even record it down and took photos of it. Not forgetting Eva for the arrangement. She was very prompt in answering my questions and also accomodating to my schedule. Overall it was a very good experience engaging them. 2nd Trip 30th September: Did my joint inspection with Mr Heilman from SgDefectScan. He started going through all the defect himself while waiting for the BSC supervisor. When the BSC supervisor arrived, he go through all the defects with him and even point out my concern. After that he will check if there is anymore concern that i have before ending it. Eva was also very prompt in all the arrangement. Always giving reminders for the appointment with them. Overall these 2 trips was a very pleasant experiences and i am really grateful to find them for my Defect check.

Engaged SG DefectScan for their inspection service. I took the 5-trip package that comes with post renovation inspection. I am very impressed by their expertise and professionalism. Mr Raja and the team are in charge of my post reno inspection, and they are so meticulous. They brought up lots of defects (even for those minor ones) to my attention, which I didn't notice when I did the first round check on my own. They also explained to me about the defects after they completed the inspection and provided a detailed defects report with photos so I can forward to my ID for easier reference. Highly recommended!

It was very well worth to engage their service for defect checking. Mr Raja and his team were meticulous, professional and fast in their task. They also helped me understand the defects they have highlighted at the end of the visit. It was also a smooth booking process for the service and also the customer service is superb with all around professionalism with friendliness.

Had our defect check with them and we are amazed by how detailed Mr Heilman and Mr Raja were! They can detect even minor things that we can’t see!! First inspection took about an hour! The most value for money package will be be their 3 trips package as with just a lil top up you can have them to help you to liase with HDB / BSC! 👍👍

We are pleased to recommend SG defectscan to homeowners who need a critical and thorough check on their house. Mr Bashir, Raja, Rajen, Heilman and Eva are persons whom we work with over last 3 visits. They are responsive, detailed, experienced and responsible to how they conduct their checks. As new homeowners we are not familiar to what is normal vs what is a defect. The team is able to spot many defects which we may accept as casual construction flaws. Raja is critical and handles our unit with caution. Mr Bashir is experienced with how contractor works hence can advise well. Rajen and Heilman came with the team, and are good team players which help as a fresh eyes. Eva is responsive on the line, and always receive feedback with openness. I engaged SG DefectScan to conduct defect checks at my new BTO house about 2 months ago. Thereafter, they assisted me to arrange a meet-up with BSCs. Today was their 3rd trip to my place, where they met up with the BSCs and check for any rectification of the defects. Although I did not manage to attend again, I trust SG DefectScan’s services and expertise in ensuring the defects were either rectified or identified so that I can engage BSCs to rectify further (if any) and thereafter, get my renovation done too. Overall, I am very happy and will recommend my friends to engage SG DefectScan for their service next time too! I am also interested and will be considering to engage SG DefectScan for post renovation defect checks and move-in cleaning services related when the time comes. Thank you!

We are pleased with their thorough identification of defects & the detailed explanation provided. SG DefectScan helped to fill up the defects report & emailed it to BSC for us (keeping us in the loop too). Appointment for the joint inspection was also scheduled for us by SG DefectScan. Instead of making our defect check easier, choosing SG DefectScan over others actually makes us more frustrated. Came to realise that their team are just going through the motion by pasting stickers all over the unit to make it seems like they did a thorough check. Not only they missed some of the major defects which I highlighted to them, they also did not manage to detect major defects after BSC’s rectification. Offered additional trip as compensation but we find it pointless and decided to cancel their 4th trip. Overall, they did their job but not up to expectation.

We engaged SGDefectScan for my new BTO. It was very easy to set up an appointment with them and they were prompt with their replies. Had a good first impression, they came early and very detailed and thorough with the checks. They provided detailed email report on the defects and liaised with BSC for the joint inspection to rectify the defects. Very satisfied with their services and highly recommend them defect checking.

Mr Khalid and team of two of members helped me with my new 4 room tengah bto one visit inspection and they were very thorough in their work and gave us a good briefing of what the tapes mean, what are main areas to look out for vs the minor ones, and for defects that are not obvious to the eye, they taught us how to "feel" for them. This process gave us a lot of assurance as lay person who may look at an issue but not able to spot them or may think of a situation as normal but actually those might fall within normal and acceptable range in industrial standard. I have yet to receive the PDF report but I feel very ready to follow up with BSC myself! Mr Khalid and team was also very professional and polite throughout our interactions and gave us assurance that if we have further questions regarding their report we can feel free to call them even after today's visit. For those who have a healthier budget can consider opting for their three visit package because I trust that the team can really save you a lot of hassle and give you good backing to fight for what is rightful owed to you as a home owner! Initially the team that came to do the 1st defect check was not really good. the checks they do wasnt complete nor did they put in full effort. I had to ask them to check spots that is not at eye level, example above the cupboard and also under the sink. It felt students were doing my defect check. The 3rd and final check with Mr Bashir was the best experience we had during joint inspection. He took charged and spoke to developers on behalf of us. The way he spoke was what we wanted to say but did not had the courage to say so. If any chance you are engaging SG DefectScan, do ask for Mr Bashir. As he was the only who made us feel we could take a seat back and leave everything to him to talk to our developers.

Engaged SG Defect Scan for a pre and post renovation defect scan and I have to say the checks were very comprehensive. The pre renovation scan was just to let us know what our scope of renovation needed to be. The key was the post renovation scan and Mr Isaac and his team did a very good job at spotting a lot of defects like hollow tiles, misaligned doors and cabinets that we as layman wouldn't have noticed at first glance. Sometimes the contractors don't do a good job and this will show where the poor workmanship is. I highly recommend anyone to engage SG Defect Scan for their renovation needs. It's a small price to pay for such a big expense item.

Great Thanks to Mr Issac and team for the inital inspections. They were helpful and explained to me about the processes. After the inspection was done, they also ran through the all the defects, pointing out what are the issues found.

Impressive & highly recommended! A very reliable, knowledgeable and professional team!! Even my ID who watched them do their checks went “ wow,these guys know their stuff!” Hubby and me personally found them so detailed and fast. A big shout out to Mr Ismail and his team. The team adriver early, did the checks, submitted all defects with photo evidence explaining what went wrong for the developers follow-up and even did a walk through with us explaining what were the minor and major defects identified. They even offer services to return for a final check after the developers defects team made good. This is to ensure it was indeed done right and well! If not, we can reject and get the developers to relook. If you are thinking of cutting corners and saving on defects checks, I would highly suggest against it as they helped me save big bucks that I would have to end up forking out to repair myself. What our naked eyes can’t see, cant escape their special tools, and experience! Thumbs up 👍
