Had my free trial lesson on 6 June 2024 at 9 Purvis Street. Was coached by Olesya. She was very attentive to all of us and her teaching was great. Really getting all of us to loosen ourselves and just enjoy the lesson. Registered for a package immediately on the day after the trial lesson (I was already v interested in dance). Overall very eye-opening, fun, and enjoyable. The only downside is that I have to start regularly exercising - my joints ache... haha... Would highly recommend for anyone interested in dance. Also recommend this to anyone who wants to socialise more and relieve stress, etc. Can't wait to begin my lessons 🙌 Thank you Olesya and the Galaxy Dance Academy team.

Love the trial lesson. I was taught to feel the music, let go and dance. Not to focus on the steps only. In 1 hour, I learn waltz, tango and jive. I have been with GDA for a few months. The academy provide a structure level dance programme for Ballroom and Latin that students can embark on to develop their dance skills and progression. The Teachers are very professional, inspiring, encouraging and patience. The free trial lesson is definitely a good experience for newcomer to know about the studios, classes and teachers The Finale at the end of the 8 lessons was something new to me when I started. It is an amazing Initiative that allows students to execute their dance movements from what they have learnt , build up their confidence level and having fun too! My love to dance has Ignited !

Studio is very beautiful, cozy, easily accessible and with great sound system. They offer various classes with different time slot each week to fit from beginners to competitive level at a reasonable rates. Both Mikhail and Olesya are amazing world class coaches winning multiple champions and they are truly awesome. We are able to learn various types of ballroom, latin, social dances including American Smooth which is only taught in this studio in Singapore. The coaches teaching instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Their dance moves highly impressed and really inspire me. They are very passionate dancers who truly love to share their experiences and impart their knowledge to the students. They recognize each individual student potential and provide great encouragement to motivate them. Each dance lesson with them is greatly enjoyable and fruitful. Good place to start learning dancing. Nice environment, good location, great teachers! Update: They run an interesting system of (mini) Grand Finales for each 2-month course run, where students dress up to the theme and perform. It's quite entertaining once you get over your initial jitters!

Was recommended by my friends to try out their ballroom classes, immediately i couldn't stop attending and was always looking forward to dancing every week. The dance studio is really well decorated, especially the floor to ceiling windows. Great facilities & floor layout. On top of that, their sound system is spectacular ! On the other hand, the 2 instructors, Mikhail & Olesya have a very different teaching approach which i have never seen before. Thus renewing my passion for ballroom & not just giving a 100% but a 110% whenever i'm dancing.

The One hour Free trial class great. Teacher communicate with happiness and humor, making the atmosphere conducive for learning for all. Dance studio is very well managed and a beautiful place. one thing to take note is for all to becareful when you are standing infront of the entrance door when checking up the schedule, just in case someone opens the door too hard.

Went for the introductory trial class and it covered jive, waltz and tango. Mikhail the instructor, was super friendly and encouraging. I thoroughly enjoyed the class! There's discount for first timers if you choose to sign up. Affordable and flexible!
