A. S.I have seen many dentists over the years, but this is clearly one of the best you can go to. During my visits so far I was attended by 2 different doctors. Mr Ong takes his time to explain about the health of your problematic teeth and supports his arguments with taken images. Such image-supported reviews of the teeth are done by all of the doctors and are very important to my understanding of the situation. Pricing is appropriate (I can tell, because I have seen many dentists) and the fillings are done well and with care.
Given that this is such a popular dentist, you need to make appointments well in advance. The 1-day-turnaround-time crown appointments are booked for the next half year, for example. Of course, they would arrange a short term visit, if you have pain. In all cases, given that they care so much, the waiting time for patients can be dramatic. One time I waited for 2 hours, even though I had an appointment. Nevertheless, it is worth the wait to have good care done.
Overall, I completely recommend this dentist, but just make the appointments well in advance and be a patient with patience :)
z. y. c.Dr Ernest Ong takes the time and effort to explain to his patient about their oral health. He is clear in his explanation and is very thorough in his cleaning. It is my first visit to this clinic and it was a very pleasant experience. Would recommend to friends

It was an extremely long time since I went to the dentist previously, but they patiently and clearly explained everything that was going on and gave me information/recommendations based on my questions. Overall very pleasant experiences with them and will probably continue to return even though it’s quite a ways from where I currently stay.

Was greatly surprised at the service & professionalism on my first visit & have been looking forward to visits (I’m doing braces). Checks conducted were thorough & well-explained! L. Y.The experience at Friends Dental was pleasant, the receptionist were quick in their follow up and reminders to my next appointment. Dr Tay was detailed in cleaning my teeth and Dr Ng was very patient in explaining to me the different cost/option before I proceeded with my root canal treatment. I would definitely recommend this clinic! :)
J. X. O.Dentist are very friendly. They will have small talks about latest trend or your work industry to ease your worries before they start your treatment or consultation. Assistant will keep you company before the Dentist visit the room. Receptionist are very friendly as well. They will give you a call at least 1 day before your visit to remind you on your appointment. They will always give you a smile even thought you cannot see their full facial expression.
N. N.Been here for a while because I had to undergo a lot of treatment before doing braces. The dentists there and receptionists are all very friendly and open to any queries you might have. Their new hygienist Germaine, is very nice and gentle and does a good job as well :)
M. A.I had a good experience. The staff is nice and cooperative. Besides nice equipment they have, I like the way Dentist explained all the procedures to me and asked for my opinion about how to proceed. They really make us feel comfortable. I went back there twice and would like to get advice again if I have any problems.
M. C.Customer Service provided during dental service and surgery were great. Staff were nice, friendly and shows care and concern during and after procedures. Went about 5 times to the dentists and each time they always work in a professional manner.
The general workplace was clean and tidy as well with entertainment in the waiting area.
Provided coffee and milo for customers while waiting for their turn.
Surprised thay the toilet was clean all the time and properly maintained whenever I used them.
Overall experience to the dentist was excellent. Two thumbs up

C.i’ve had 3 visits to this place so far. the first appointment i had was a consult to find the different problem areas, then they will do the more important issues the day itself and schedule another day for u to come in and do cleaning. (although i do think that’s abit long winded but i guess it’s ok)
had restorative fillings done by a male dentist, well it’s not the cheapest (no CHAS subsidies on preventive fillings 🥲) but i guess to maintain dental health i dont really mind spending abit more monies.
first time scaling and polishing was done in Dec 2020, waited for a little while after said appointment time but understandable cause busy period (near EOY)
my recent appointment was at 12pm on a wednesday in June.
I came at 12 and was served promptly, and the hygienist (Jenniex) that attended to me was so lovely 😃. she took the time to explain areas that i need to be more careful on (regarding cleaning), wisdom tooth and possible cosmetic procedures i could do. overall a very nice experience at Friends Dental
also this is a CHAS subsidised clinic soooo 💰💰💰 if cleaning is free why not right hehe
K. W.Very friendly and considerate dental clinic! Well equipped and homely feel. I'm terrified of dentist since young, but with them I feel comfortable and in good hands. Pricing wise very transparent as well, well informed prior to any procedures.
V. L.Been to a couple of dental clinics but Friends Dental left a very good impression in me. They live up to their name - Friends! The dentists and nurses are warm and friendly, putting me at ease. They keep me in check, provide detailed assessments and suggest best/alternative treatments during my visits.
I visited another dental clinic for treatment some time ago and was sent back within 10mins. Toothache persisted. For the same tooth problem, Friends gave me explanation that were clear enough for a layman to understand before treatment began. I left treated and that tooth is still happy until now!
c. c.Great ambience, relaxing, friendly professional nurses. Called when there is potential delay and saved me waiting time. Cleaning was thorough. Doc Ng was patient, explains clearly and fillings done well, not giving me issues. Nurse called following day to get feedback on treatment. Great experience overall!!!!

S. L.A bunch of Angels. They are really friendly, kind and make you feel very comfortable, removing your fear or trauma of going to the dentist. My wisdom tooth was removed with hardly any pain and there was no pain or discomfort in the following days. The normal cleaning was excellent. It was like a new bunch of fresh sparkling white teeth installed. Kudos to everyone at Friends Dental ... Probably the best dental clinic on this island.
C. H. O.Upon my first visit, the receptionist, miss Victoria guided me on how to get my x-Ray which was done previously at other dental clinic. I don't have to do it again at this clinic. Furthermore, the Dentist, Dr Ng used animation to explain my dental problems which were clear and well-explained. right now, my dental problems were mostly resolved and I am still going for my regluar cleaning! Best dental service I received so far! Thank you so much!

J. W.Dr Shawn is meticulous, considerate and friendly. I had a small spot on my gum and he diagnosed it as a virus infection. However, upon hearing of my medical history, he arranged for a specialist to do further checks to put my mind at ease to make sure it's not something I need to worry about. He was very busy with a tight schedule and yet he made sure that the arrangement was made the next day for me to see the specialist. Very thankful to Kai Xin for squeezing me for the unscheduled appointment and for Dr Ng who took time to explain with a free dental consultation. Thanks to all the staff who are super friendly and well informed. They really look out for the patient's needs!
T. L.My tooth implant that was implanted in 2015 came out twice in recent months. Dr Ng and Dr Tay helped me to put in back with so much care and attention. The whole team of staff and nurses made every trip to the dentist a very pleasant and comfortable one for me. I would strongly recommend patients to the clinic.

J. W. K.I had been a regular patron of this clinic would like to share on my pleasant experience I had over the years. Before this I had a bad experience with another dentist whom she recommend me to perform extraction on a decaying molar. Having no prior knowledge on alternative solution, I agreed to go ahead with the extraction. Over the years, there were more complications resulted from this extraction. I was then later recommended to Friends Dental Surgeons when I had a terrible toothache and the clinic provided a free first time detail analysis of my teeth condition. It was only then that I discovered that I have a few other early stages of tooth decay. In addition, I was educated and advised on the treatments to resolve the decays. Over the next few months, I went through several fillings to fix all these issues. The dentist and his team were skilful and knowledgeable and this had given me an assurance that my dental care had been well taken care of!
