My last dental appointment was in 2019. Stopped going for dental since the COVID-19 preventive measures then. Around March 2024 got sms/Whatsapp from Healthway Dental to make appointment. Didn't want to initially but subsequently make appointment in Jun 2024. Did consultation, scaling, polishing, and topical fluoride. Also prescribed mouthwash by the doctor. Total cost: $115.70 (inclusive Blue CHAS card subsidy of $91.50). So $24.20 from own pockets. The procedures was ok. However, usually for dental I usually see the dentist with a nurse to assist. For my appointment this time, it is just the dentist and maybe because of that, throughout the procedures, the door was not closed. Nevertheless, it is overall a reasonably comfortable dental session.

Amazing dental clinic, easily the best I have been to in Singapore and will be happy to do so for all future dental needs. Dr Janelle Leong is one of the best & most professional dentists I have come across, she is methodical and super thorough, will always ensure that I am comfortable and at ease by talking me through the procedure, and very diligent in looking after her patient's best interests. Personally, I find Dr Janelle Leong very sincere, trustworthy and every interaction so far has been really smooth, pain free and she has a very smooth light and effective hand in her dental work. Dr Janelle gives the right advice, always in the best interests of the patient. I was able to save a vital molar tooth due to her advice and early intervention that she spotted during a routine cleaning. As hard as the procedure was to save the molar through a filling procedure, she persisted as it was the best thing to do so in my benefit and saving me future complications and lots of painful future procedures. It's hard to find a dentist who will partner with patients and do what's best for you as efficiently & reasonably as possible. Thanks to Dr Janelle, my teeth have never felt better, cleaner and stronger after I have followed all her advice and worked with her on cleaning and filling where necessary. All the staff at Healthway Dental are also super nice, professional, helpful and very responsive on WhatsApp (which is all a big plus to the great dental experience!) I'd highly recommend Dr Janelle Leong and Healthway Dental clinic for all your dental needs (have also now taken my family there who attest to the same positive experiences too). Thank you.
