U are having tooth pain and reading this to find out more about Nuffield Westgate branch right? Then please be patient and read my little short story with a great ending. I had a sudden excruciating pain lasting 3 days but wasn't sure which tooth caused it. Decided to go back to Dr Faisal (he attended to me and my family twice before). Texted the branch and was politely told he was not available at Westgate. Instead, Dr Tho Loo Yee would be there. I made an appointment immdtly for the next day because i couldnt tahan anymore. Came on time and altho i was informed that i might have to wait a little longer for the current patient to finish, i waited anyway. I was even told i might be charged for xray prior to the procedure. I was fine as i understood the protocol. First time meeting Dr Tho and her assistant Yanni, they patiently listened to my concerns as i freak out easily at any dental clinic. While other dentists at other clinics would rudely say " Open your mouth..waa..long time never clean your teeth hah..cannot like dat ah..must always come regularly..dont eat etc etc.." but no..Dr Tho was very polite. She wasted no time to see to my ACTUAL problem. (I looked like a timid rock star with the provided glasses to put on and the ceiling tv for me to watch calming fishes in the sea.) Upon assessing my teeth after the Xray, i was told my last molar had 3 options: either filling, root canal or extraction. I opted for extraction altho i displayed uncontrollable anxiety. But Dr Tho was a magician. She rubbed numbing gel on the gums, proceeded with the injections (which i cannot feel a thing) and Yanni even tapped on me gently to calm my stupid nerves. After a few minutes of waiting for the numbing effect to set, the extraction was over in less than 1 minute!. I was like.hey, no pain at all! I was shown my stupid tooth and i cried tears of joy instantly. Im sure i looked like a fool but both of them didnt judge me. After a brief post-op care speech, i was dismissed. Outside, i was politely explained of the charges and i find it reasonable. Was again told of the post-op care with printed details and extra gauze and medication were nicely presented in a beautiful Tiffany-coloured bag. How posh. The next day, i was greeted with a nice text, asking how i was doing. What a service! Guys. Thank u for reading till the end. My experience was magical. Hope yours will be too! My deepest thanks to my dental heroes : Dr Tho Loo Yee, her assistant Yanni, reception staff Maria and Farisya. Fantastic looking place btw. I will be back for regular cleaning here. Cheers!

The overall experience is quite professional and minimum pain. Definitely recommend Dr Shauna Cho to my friends. The rate is considered market standard compared to other dental clinics.

Had a very good experience with doctor shauna. Had told about my discomfort on my wisdom tooth & told her I had upclming overseas plan. She had given me good advice and what are the options she can provide me to ease the discomfort.
