Being in the live entertainment industry, I know how important it is for a good emcee and live music to create a fun and lively atmosphere. We are really thrilled to have John, our Emcee and the duet, Shili and Adi from Merry Bees at our wedding! We had been looking through various other bands but after listening to their Disney Medley performance at the Esplanade on YouTube, we collectively knew at once that we wanted Shili and Adi for our wedding. We wanted all the Disney songs to be played at our wedding especially A Whole New World as our first march in song, which they timed and matched our rhythmic steps so well. On top of that, they are very well versed in many songs from different languages such as Cantonese and even Korean songs that our guests who came from overseas were so impressed. They could also mix and blend several songs into one (which was received with delight by all the guests to cater to the many song requests over the night. Their collective voices and octaves complimented each others strength seamlessly, its so rare to find such a pleasing band to have. Especially since Covid19 era, it's been a long time since everyone had heard live music from a band. Needless to say, they did a spectacular job at making all our guest so high, enticing them to sing along as well. Michelle and the production team were also very professional helping us from the start till the end. We strongly recommend Merry Bees for any wedding as they will truly make it really memorable for you and your guests.

Having Merry Bees performing live was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, especially after the long pandemic hiatus. John and Ywenna sounded amazing and were very versatile - they sang La Vie en Rose in French to Baby Shark. We also really appreciate that the band played our march in songs even though they’re not part of the usual repertoire and at a short notice of a week. Our guests really enjoyed the performances and song dedications. It’s great that we’re provided with the dedication slips so we can go through the messages as we weren’t in the ballroom at times. We definitely recommend MerryBees! Thank you for being a part of our celebration! :)

We hired Shili and Adi as the live band and emcee for our wedding, and they exceeded all of our expectations! The band's music was exceptional, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They were able to read the crowd and keep the energy high all afternoon long, which made for an unforgettable experience. In addition to the live music, their emcee skills were fantastic as well. Shili and Adi kept the flow of the afternoon smooth and engaging, and were able to keep our guests entertained throughout the event. Have collaborated with Shili & Adi on a number of occasions for my work & it has always been my wish to have them perform at my own wedding one day. Well, wish do come true & what an awesome performance Shili & Adi gave during the wedding dinner. Lots of praises from my guests as they enjoyed the music throughout the evening. Even my dad, a man of few words & rarely give compliments, told me that Shili & Adi can sing very well. That speaks a lot coming from my dad! It has exactly been a month since we got married..and even till now..everything felt so surreal, it really definitely didn’t felt that long. In having to still proceed with this covid wedding, we are extremely thankful that Merry Bees gave us such a great experience and moment to us on that day itself and even till now I still feel teary & excitement that I felt on THAT DAY..as they were performing virtually, means we have a video momento that we can always relive in it ANYTIME! (and we really have been replaying alottt..Hahahha!!) Initially was slightly skeptical about going virtually but this turned out amazing!!! We are never been more convinced about going by this decision, super glad that to have Adi and ShiLi, and our Emcee, Sylvia. This band made our wedding a dream come true!! I couldn’t be more thankful to them for completing this dream..as I always visualized that we would marched in with live singing but our selection of song wasn’t on their song list, but they actually suggested to learn this song just to create this perfect romance for us!! And this was at the very last minute (literally 2-3 days before the actual day itself!!!) this really shows how much passion and love they extend to their clients. Great duo with great voices!! Sylvia on the other hand, was such a dear, she really pulls off a great time to all our guests and us!! With her on that day, never been a moment that was dull..best decision made was to have Merry Bee team to be on site with us and entrusting our important day to them!!! Lastly, a special thanks as well to their assistant manager, Gabrielle who have been patient with us throughout this whole coordination process. Thank you again, Merry Bees!! ❤️

We first came across Merry Bees (Shili & Adi) at a wedding fair and had decided to engage them as our live band for our wedding as we like their singing style (more jazzy, classy vibes) and our family member also recommended them to us. I would urge all couples who are looking for a live band at their wedding to look for them - a sure no-regret move! They delivered their performance so well and created a very lively and engaging atmosphere that I’ve always wanted at my wedding. We received compliments from our guests on their singing and some even told us they were happy to know that we engaged them cos they love Shili & Adi. Shili was also v friendly and prompt in her responses and she delivered our requests well. Thank you Shili & Adi once again! The only pity is probably that we didn’t manage to take a pic with them.

MB is a really special team that I would highly recommend for any event or weddings you have in mind. The whole process from confirmation to actual day was so seamless and easy as the team was very responsive and kind. Special shoutout to the ones managing the enquiry (Joanne, Eliza) and also ShiLi for the easy and prompt coordination! We engaged John, Peizhen and Matthew (Merry Trio) for our wedding live band with John & Peizhen doubling up as emcee, and our guests sing nothing but praises for them. I felt so safe and assured that they are there, knowing the flow well and even accomodating to my request of march-in song. It was a magical moment to march-in with the live band. The Q&A game that they hosted and the song dedication cards were really superb and engaging. I also engaged the photo booth and all the guests had so much fun snapping photos with the props! The setup was professional too. Thanks to MB, I could enjoy every moment as a bride without any worry and just comfortably basking in the moment. After watching the entire performance again, we realised that they not only really took on our request of learning songs outside of their repertoire, but actually delivered and performed all of them during the set too! From Day 1 since I’ve engaged the services of S&A for our wedding, our coordinator, Gabrielle has also been really prompt, understanding and responsive to all of our late night queries, and even worked closely with me on providing our guests the best virtual live band, emcee host, and instrumental performance which they possibly could, all within our budget allocated! Having Merry Bees at our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. Throughout the whole process, Shili, John and Gabrielle have been nothing short of supportive and amazing. Shili and John specially came down to the venue prior to the event to check on the logistics and made sure that everything was in place. They made us feel very assured that everything would go well on the day itself. Gabrielle was nothing less than patient, always kindly explaining everything we needed to know to us, giving us useful advice and addressing our queries no matter how late it is. On the actual day, John dazzled and entertained the audience (and us) with his beautiful and soulful vocals. He also showed what a good listener he was by bringing up snippets of a conversation he had with my husband during the site recce, adding a personal touch. The whole team (on site and off site) worked together well to ensure that the live-streaming could be carried out seamlessly, and helped us make important decisions when we were unavailable to ensure that the live-streaming would not be compromised and all our important moments could be captured. More than just clients, we felt that the team at Merry Bees treated us as friends and would do what they can to ensure everything goes smoothly so that the day would be memorable and pleasant for us both. Initially we signed for a live band under Merrybees for our wedding to be held in 2020. Then COVID happened and we postponed our wedding 1 year later to May 2021. Merrybees quickly converted to a virtual live band for our dinner and also was able to conduct livestream for our wedding solemnization! They were able to sing and entertain guests during the Zoom livestream, such that virtual guests were very impressed and commended us for getting them to do it. For the dinner, despite them not being live onsite, it was still memorable and they were able to interact with us still as they have an onsite coordinator. Our emcee John was gentle yet had stage presence and made the whole event much livelier, I definitely recommend him instead of getting a friend to emcee. We requested for our favourite song to be played during the dinner and at first they didn't play it, but then they took time to come back online even after they finished their segment just to sing that song for us. Really appreciate that extra mile they went for us! Overall, am very glad I got Merrybees to be part of my wedding as they were very responsive (that's very important to me!), understanding and patient with our requests.

ShiLi and Adi has always been my best performing band. The first time I knew them was more than 7 years ago when I engaged them for my elder son’s wedding party. Just last weekend I had them again for my younger son’s wedding and they are so much more polished, with so many covers of their own, a broad repertoire of songs and were just the mood setters for the evening. Furthermore they took on the role of comperes which blended very well to their music sessions. I would love to have them again, again and again!! Killawill was excellent with his music choice, setting a vibrant mood and driving up the tempo to a peak. Such a great event for all the party-goers...indeed a night to remember for all!!

Let me tell you a story. Coming from a musical family background, I do have an acute taste and preference in live bands, especially if it is for my wedding! I was researching high and low for live bands and even asked my trusted circle of friends for a recommendation. Shili and Adi was the band name provided to me. My friend even vouches for this band. Having such confidence, I began researching online and true enough I like this band's performances. I booked Shili & Adi more than a year prior to my wedding. Long story short, on my wedding day, the research I did online on Shili & Adi's performance was not the same. In fact, it is even more than what I expected. My family, friends, and relatives love the band's performance and were still talking about it days after my wedding. Shili & Adi, thank you so much for providing the joy and merry to my wedding.
