Thanks to Helen and Gino for helping us refinance our investment property and get a construction loan for our new build. We had no luck with our primary bank (despite their best efforts). SMATS were able to work with us on different options, and manage my ever changing pay structure, to get us over the line. We also took advantage of their tax advice and received some options on how to optimize our income and tax now that we are back in Australia.

As an Australian citizen, Australian Non Tax Resident and UAE resident, finding a home loan can be challenging and a daunting task. On 2 separate occasions we have used the SMATS team to secure a loan and have found them to be extremely professional, responsive, knowledgeable and have a true partnership approach. They provide great advice and are there every step of the way to guide on what is needed when, as well as co-ordinate with buyers agents, property agents and conveyancers to ensure everything right up to and including settlement goes smoothly. Cannot thank Katherine and Bridget enough for all their support in our most recent property purchase. They managed everything for us and we were able to do everything needed from right here in the UAE. Cannot recommend them highly enough, will 100% use their services again!

When we decided to return home to Australia from Dubai in March 2023, we needed sound tax and financial advice. After receiving excellent guidance from the SMATS team, they also suggested we approach the Mortgage Broker team as we desired to buy a place to live rather than renting. To our surprise the Broker team came up with realistic solutions in order to purchase a property back in Australia. This was amazing considering cost of living and a housing crisis. It did not take long to get loan approval and therefore we bought in a subdivision. Unfortunately, there was a delay on getting titles and we had to reapply for the loan 3 times. The SMATS broker team were extremely professional throughout the process giving us support and advice on a daily basis. Their communication was outstanding, and we always felt confident that the loan would be approved every time. Finally, we have officially bought the property thanks to the help of the SMATS Broker team. My wife and I would highly recommend the SMATS Broker team to find you realistic solutions to finance your next property.

Highly Reccommend the Smats group and their hard working team. In particular the Mortgabe brokerage team who were very professional and supportive , and preservered to prepare preapprovals and finalise finance over what was a very long (getting back into the Australia RE market) and complex ( French Renumeration structure) and ultimately sucessfull house search.
