My family and I are extremely grateful to TLC team comprising Dennis, Xiao Jun, Kenzie and Michelle for their professional service following the loss of our late mother. Xiao Jun and Kenzie were present throughout the days. They conducted the showers of love service with genuine compassion, respect and dignity allowing us to grief meaningfully in an intimate setting. The wake in the HDB void deck was set up beautifully and tastefully by Michelle and team with attention to details eg the lighting, flowers, tables and chairs etc were perfect. Our guests and us felt a great sense of peace and tranquility. The homecoming, memorial service, wake and funeral were all coordinated seamlessly like a well oiled machine which allowed us to spend quality time to grief, mourn and heal. On February 19, 2024, we faced the heartbreaking loss of my grandmother. In the midst of our grief, we encountered challenges with a funeral services company that left us disheartened. The TLC team led by Michelle and Chelo was extremely professional, detailed and pleasant to work with for our late mother's funeral including the inland ash scattering procedure. We were heartened by the compassion and service demonstrated by the TLC team throughout the process. Special thanks to the team at TLC especially Michelle , Hui Min , JK, Jamie and Chelo for managing my beloved mum’s last journey . We called TLC and Michelle answered at 3.30 am and started the planning process . It was a very good suggestion from Michelle to have my mum at the TLC Sanctuary for a night and do the Shower of Love on Day 2 morning when my nephew arrived from Europe . This is considered 4 days of wake to allow friends and relatives to pay last respect but actually 5 days in all according to Chinese customs . This worked very well . The Shower of Love was highly appreciated as we were not at hospital when she passed away. We were able to clean her , dress up her nicely in her favourites and spent time to talk to her before the final journey , very good closure for our family . The funeral was very smooth and send off was dignified . Appreciated the night vigil support as we are a small family . Plus the collection of ashes to scatter at Garden of Peace . Only negative comment was the tentage team was not very cooperative and also toilet was too near the praying area . Thank You .🙏 From Our family , July 2024.

My siblings and I engaged TLC to handle our late mother's funeral in November 2022. From the outset Dennis and his team were very systematic & meticulous, and the choices offered to us were always well-explained. Showers of Love, inspired by the movie Departures and very sensitively guided by TLC staff, gave us an unforgettable opportunity to perform a beautiful final act of service to our dearly departed mother. Along the way every request of ours, including delivery of some flowers to our home post-funeral and downloading of photos & videos taken by TLC onto thumb drives, was carried out with no fuss. The smooth handling of both the wake and funeral allowed us to focus on our loss during this difficult time. The scattering of ashes at sea was well-coordinated, with no delays at the pier, and very respectfully conducted. We never felt rushed or pressured into making any decisions at any point in time. We would like to express our greatest gratitude to Michelle, Fave and TLC Team who have assisted us to prepare our mom’s funeral within a very short period of time. Fave has done a very good make up for our mother and makes her looked less pale and very pretty like she was in her mid-age. Michelle and team have handled our case with care and compassion throughout this grieving period. Every step and procedure are explained clearly and patience throughout the period. From preparation till the end of the funeral was always in tip top condition, every arrangement made are handled was in a very professional manner. We are surprised by the service as we have never come across such a neat and seamless service that has exceeded our expectation. This was the first time we have ever seen a funeral was prepared in such a fast and great service. There are also service staff who are arranged to help us serve our relatives during the peak hours to ease our stress in managing the crowd. TLC's Angjolie call shortly after I'd received news of mum's passing was like a comforting arm around my shoulders. Quietly and with compassion, she understood what mum wanted and was gracious in acceding to her requests. Thereafter, Michelle and her team have been there; stepping up when help was needed and stepping away unobtrusively otherwise. From meeting Michelle for the first time to collect mum at the mortuary, to getting updates of significant events ahead and even allowing for a personal selection of songs were all the personal touches greatly appreciated. Mum’s homecoming, serene and pleasant wake setup and send off at Mandai were all seamlessly coordinated. Mum was not the only one at peace. Their professionalism allowed us to grieve quietly and our loss was made less painful. TLC was respectful throughout the entire process with high attention paid to the details made for kind remarks from those who came to bid mum a final farewell. A special note of thanks must to made to JK who guided us throughout up to setting mum free to join dad at sea. Mum would have been pleased with the arrangements and I am thankful for the peace of mind knowing that all was well taken care of. My many thanks to Angjolie, Michelle, Fave, JK, and all in the team for a well-planned, thoughtful peaceful funeral for mum right from the start and all through to mum's burial. While my brother and I are saddened by our loss, we are thankful mum got a dignified sendoff.

Slightly over a year ago , 25th June 2018, my beloved father-in-law passed on and it was the first time we were using TLC's service. Sadly, on the 19th July 2019, my beloved father passed on. It was just as hard barely recovering from one loss to have another. I can say with sheer conviction, Jolie, Dennis, Yue Xin, Chelo, Carl, Mychael , Fave , Amy and Clarence made the journey easier. The reason i used the word journey, it is simple. Everyone i mentioned, walked with us in their own special way and it was not out of obligation for the job but more like we were family. Throughout the pre-wake, preparation and during the wake itself, my dad was not referred to by name but he was referred to as Dad. The team gave him the highest dignified title. The teams patience and passion was not only felt by us as the family but by our extended families and friends, it was genuine and heartfelt. Not once did i have to remove myself from seeing to family and friends over small things as Dennis and team handled everything professionally and with humility. The sentence " so beautiful and dignified " was mentioned so often and with the highest respect for the team. One event touched us deeply and it was when your staff cried as my eldest niece gave a moving eulogy, one person stood out as i think she was new, i am so sorry i missed getting your name but you were the one who walked around giving our guests tissues as your own tears flowed freely. That is the kind of person we are blessed to have within your team of Silent Professionals. Jolie, as a former Funeral Director, i have all but a few words to express my thanks, my appreciation and my honor to have had TLC present and there is no doubt, painful as life is, there is no other company or team i will turn to.
