I started off with mere motivation to improve my core muscles and also my lifestyles. I was introduced to my PT Joshua, who was inspiringly instrumental throughout my one year journey of trainings! It’s hard to believe how much these transformations have impacted my life in many positive ways!
I’m recommending Joshua because he values progress, education and health that make workouts a sustainable routine!

I have been doing cardio and going for group classes in the past, but found it difficult to pick up the right technique when using gym equipment and muscle/ strength gain has not been consistent. I joined FITLUC with the objective of becoming stronger and it has been a wonderful journey of growth ever since.
My trainer Ming Tao is very patient, experienced and encouraging, guiding me through each exercise and teaching me proper techniques. He ensures that I carry out each movement with the correct posture, through which, I've also learnt about misconceptions that I have had previously. He pushes me to achieve the best I can every session, and I feel myself improving with each workout e.g. increasing weights. It has been two months with FITLUC and I am still always looking forward to my session. It's the best feeling walking out of the gym after an awesome full body workout!
The friendly team, clean facilities and great location are definitely a bonus too. Would greatly recommend anyone who's looking to restart/kickstart their PT journey to check out FITLUC!
If you enjoy being challenged and pushed to your limits, Fitluc is the place to be. PT Ming Tao has a unique way of motivating you – he’ll tell you, “You can do it!” even when you think you can’t. Just when you think you’re done with 10 reps, he’ll casually suggest doing 2 more, and before you know it, 15 reps become the goal (cue internal screams). Try to breeze through your set quickly for a rest? He’ll simply add more weight because, apparently, you’re “making it look too easy.”
Jokes aside, I signed up for a package to build strength and lose weight. While the weight loss progress is still a work in progress (totally on me), the strength I’ve gained has been incredible. Extreme exercises and long walks no longer leave me sore at the end of the day. I can now lift heavier objects with proper form, and I’ve learned so much more about training beyond just using the treadmill.
Going to the gym isn’t just about “building muscles” or “looking good.” 20 sessions in, I’ve realised it’s a lifestyle transformation. I feel healthier, stronger, and more confident than ever, and I couldn’t be happier with my journey at Fitluc. Highly recommended for anyone ready to make a meaningful and lasting change!
I've been training with Marcus for the past three months, and it's been one of the best investments I've ever made. Marcus is incredibly patient and motivating, constantly encouraging me to push beyond my comfort zone. Thanks to his diet recommendations and gym routines, I've achieved my ideal body weight.
I highly recommend him if you need someone to guide and push you through your fitness journey!
Joined Fitluc in June 2023 hoping to gain more muscle definition. 2 months in and not only I gained the muscle definition, I also grew so much stronger. My PT Ming Tao has been very helpful and generous in giving tips and clearing misconceptions about weight loss. Love that he would give me a plan/suggestions of what I can do when I can't make time for PT sessions. Thanks Ming Tao for the encouragement and constant push to do heavier weights, and lastly to always play my fav playlist which made my workout more enjoyable! 😉
Took a 1 year break from PT after my trainer of 10 years left SG. Miss having someone partnering me in my fitness journey and pushing me during workouts, I restarted my fitness journey on my birthday by joining FITLUC and I must say, it's the best birthday present for myself this year! I joined FITLUC with the objective of losing weight and becoming stronger, and it has been a wonderful journey so far.
Been 4 months since I started training with Ming Tao and I look forward to every session :) Ming Tao is very patient, encouraging and knowledgeable, always guiding me in the exercises and correcting my postures to ensure the correct muscles are being used. He pushes me to achieve my best at every workout too! Also, love how the exercises for each session are customised for me and I see myself getting stronger :)
On top of that, Ming Tao also guides me on maintaining a healthy eating habit!

Prior to PT, I’ve been doing Spins and Pilates on a regular basis however I needed something more to get myself in shape for my wedding back then thus I’ve reach out to Fitluc and it’s been my weekly routine since!

Marcus have journey (ed) with me through the two key milestones in my life - wedding + pregnancy. He provided great meal guidance when I needed to lose weight for my wedding, and was also able to adapt to ensure that I could still train safely while I’m pregnant!
Never knew that I would enjoy gymming so much but I’m glad I took a leap of faith 2 years ago, trusted the process (got in shape for my wedding) and fell in love with the fitluc fam!
My journey with FITLUC started in end Feb 2024, after winning a free trial. I was initially skeptical and almost wanted to forego the trial, but eventually decided that there's no harm giving it a try. Prior to going to FITLUC, the only equipment I was familiar with was probably the treadmill and all the other equipments have always looked intimidating. I also thought that I wouldn't like doing resistance training on a regular basis. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the trial session and decided to commit to weekly gym sessions. My trainer, Chin Han, has been very patient in explaining how to use the gym equipments in a proper way and ensuring that my form is correct since I had zero experience with all the equipments. He makes sure that the planned exercises are at a comfortable pace and progressive, but yet at the same time, he encourages pushing boundaries where possible (because sometimes we are stronger than we think we are!). He also shares info on food and diet adjustments which can help to achieve the goal of losing body fat more effectively. Ever since I started the weekly gym sessions and adjusted my diet, my weight and body fat % have gone down. I'm happy with the progression and small wins, and am looking forward to achieving more at FITLUC :)
I’ve trained with JJ for more than a year and have benefitted tremendously. He is professional, knowledgeable and very patient. I would recommend him to anyone.
I have been training with Ming Tao for over 2 years now. He is an excellent personal trainer who guides and supports you well throughout your fitness journey. FITLUC is a great space to workout and grow stronger!

Heading to the gym has always intimidated me so it came as a surprise that I have not tried to wriggle my way out of any sessions at Fitluc.
Training with Ming Tao has been fun and enjoyable (yes, you read that right). He tailors each workout session to meet my needs and abilities. You can sense his dedication as he guides you through each exercise with doses of motivation and corrects your form to gain the most out of each rep. His wealth of knowledge shines through when questions are posed - muscle groups, difference in grips and exercises, and "How to survive a buffet?".
With Ming Tao's invaluable expertise and enthusiasm, he has enabled progression of my goals to be more sustainable than I ever thought possible with small simple changes to my daily habits.

I have been through several personal training trials, and none have been as encouraging and motivating as when I came across FitLuc and was assigned to JJ Lin. While it was only a trial session with JJ, I respect his professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to train. Without hesitation, I signed up right after trial.
I would like to extend my compliments to JJ. JJ ensures every training session is engaging and prioritises proper form correction. He meticulously observes my form and offers corrections timely to ensure that I perform exercises safely and effectively. JJ customised workout plans that target various muscle groups to ensure a holistic training experience.
I highly recommend JJ Lin as your personal trainer! Don't miss the opportunity to experience it for yourself!
Joined Fitluc family (Boat Quay) in Sep 2023. From someone who hates visiting the gym prior to attending personal training sessions, gym is now my new found love. I have developed a habit to visit the gym at least four to five times a week.
Mingtao is my personal trainer in Fitluc, I am glad that I have chosen the right trainer and the right gym for my first personal training package. Mingtao is very knowledgeable, approachable and selfless in imparting his knowledge. I am a slow learner and has zero knowledge with all the gym exercises. He cleared my doubts after class and I can always text him to clarify on the pointers of the gym exercises that I just learnt. As I am a verbal learner, this helps me to remember the pointers and execute the correct form for the exercises that I have just learnt. I will practise on my own and Ming Tao will correct me in the next session. Every session is a better version of myself! This will not be possible without the assistance from Mingtao. I highly recommend anyone to engage him as your first personal trainer! Make your first step like what I did, and I assure you that you will grow to become a more confident person and a stronger person that you never know you can be!
Ming Tao has been an amazing PT who is highly competent and professional, and illustrates a great deal of sport science expertise. A trainer who prioritised safety, I appreciate Ming Tao in customising a training programme for me while managing a complicated and ongoing spinal injury. In addition, Ming Tao is super patient and encouraging, who constantly motivates me to keep progressing little steps at a time, while ensuring no pain or discomfort throughout the session. More importantly, he always delivers sessions that are fun (and tiring of course) and engaging, and eventually a session that I will always look forward to every week. A big shoutout to Ming Tao for supporting me in resuming my gym sessions while going on a 4-months rehab break and a big thank you for being that cheerleader during my recovery and downtime!
I have tried many methods of losing weight, including taking various food supplements such as Amway, Herbalife, and Nuskin, as well as intermittent fasting like 168, but none have worked or been sustainable. I also exercise, such as brisk walking and following exercise from YouTube, but I often get injuries due to not knowing the correct methods.
As I am approaching 50 years old, I decided to learn the correct and proper methods of exercise for long-term health purposes. I engaged JJ Li from FITLUC at Boat Quay 3 months ago.
He is a very experience trainer who knows my weaknesses well and understands which exercises I need most. He designs exercise programs that are most suitable for me.
Initially, I couldn't do certain exercises such as squat with carry weight. But now I can !
Not only have I lost weight, but I have also gained muscle and lost fat. Gaining muscle is extremely difficult, but JJ is very encouraging and patient, planning my training to achieve that target. Not only that, now I can climb stairs without any knee pain using the correct method!

Competent trainers nice and friendly gets the job done if you are disciplined yourself.
Now, Moving on JJ is a nice trainer the gym is very nice and The programs are good and reasonable and has helped me and others who have undergone through the program. NOW!
