I started group lessons at Live Pilates with four friends to tackle my frequent backaches and muscle strain. After just 10 weekly sessions with Regina, I’ve noticed a big improvement in my strength, balance, and posture—and I’m thrilled that my daily aches and pains have completely gone!
Huge thanks to Regina, my Pilates instructor. She’s incredibly encouraging, engaging, and consistently pushes us to new levels each session. She’s made Pilates enjoyable, and I now look forward to every class!
I have been practising Pilates win SK for a number of years now and have really enjoyed my sessions with her. She mixes up the exercises we do each week and caters to how my body feels every time, which is usually a mix of strengthening and stretching. Would highly recommend
I signed up for the starter pack of 3 sessions with Live Pilates. My trial class with Regina was an one-on-one private session. I have been to a few other group sessions with pilates studios around S’pore but decided to give private class a try this time. For beginners, I’ve learned that private sessions help. I would encourage you to sign up for a few just to get your form right before embarking on a group class. Super love the vibes and how clean (being new too) the studio is. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Love that they’re also very well equipped for a boutique size studio. My instructor, Regina, was very patient and I appreciate that her class is varied and I was exposed to a fair variety of different equipments. It also helps that she possesses a very calm and beautiful voice too. :) Overall, I truly enjoyed the session and now looking forward to my weekly regime to improve my strength and mobility! I should now eat my words for saying that pilates is boring! Will be back to sign up for a regular session.
I had not exercised for years before I started pilates with SK but she was great at easing me in and one year on, I feel so much stronger. My husband who has chronic back problems also visited his physiotherapist less in this year that we practiced pilates. Would definitely recommend SK and Live Pilates to everyone!!!
I love and look forward to my weekly classes Live Pilates Studio. I do my sessions with SK and she is highly knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate how attentive she is, correcting my form and giving modifications when needed - ensuring a safe and effective workout every time. I also like the new and welcoming space. Regina was highly recommended by a good friend, and with just 1 trial, I was convinced. Regina's calming cues and her ability to make personalised adjustments ensured the intended muscle is being worked on. I've since rediscovered muscles in areas previously neglected. Her ethos to build strength and joint support for the prevention of injuries, truly resonates with me. Another plus is the location of the studio and the friendly team!
I have been doing pilates with Sook Kuen for more than 10 years. In addition to regular strength training, she also saw me through the birth of both of my children. The prenatal classes we did helped me greatly in preparing for childbirth while her postnatal classes supported my recovery. I have benefited greatly from SK’s classes over the years and the physical benefits are clear to see. I leave every class stronger physically and mentally. SK is an extremely professional instructor who puts her clients’ wellbeing above all and you can be assured that you are in good hands with her and her team of instructors. The space at LIVE is also really cozy and calming and she only uses the best machines from Merrithew which make a huge difference.
We have been doing reformer duets with SK for many years now. She is very patient with us and tailors the exercises according to our physical needs. We have seen improvement in muscle strength over the years and have benefited from our weekly sessions with SK. Highly recommended!
I have been taking pilates lessons with Regina and it has been great! My body aches have reduced significantly and I enjoy each class very much!
I love Sook Kuen’s philosophy towards pilates, a focus on technique and doing it right with concentration and intensity instead of more repetitions. She is conscientious about injuries, adapting exercises to our needs and the conditions of our bodies as we go along. Plus she has a wonderful gentle kind energy about her. I think I enjoy pilates this much because of her and I actually look forward to and enjoy the “torture” sessions (I generally do not enjoy exercising). 😂😂😂 Thank you for being an amazing instructor and helping me achieve a strong healthy body!! 🩷🩷🩷
Highly skilled and personalized sessions by SK, focused on my needs and injury. I have learnt to use pilates to manage the pain from my knee surgery and overtime strengthen my knee and back significantly
