I trained with Ace Lim for 50 sessions for the last 9 months. I'm thankful for his guidance in helping me kickstart my fitness journey. As a complete novice to strength training, the gym can be quite an intimidating place. Ace was very patient and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. Ace not only taught me the proper form for various exercises but also explained the underlying mechanics and muscle groups involved.
When it came to nutrition, Ace provided clear and actionable advice. He started with guiding me how to track my calories and macros. Throughout the past 9 months, he also monitored my eating habits and offered valuable tips for sustainable dietary changes. I appreciated his ability to tailor recommendations to my individual goals and preferences.
In our final sessions, Ace went above and beyond by creating a personalized workout plan that I could follow independently. He took into account the limited equipment available at the gym that I have access to and patiently answered all my questions.

Writing this review gave me a chance to recollect my journey to sustainable fitness in 2024. I first enquired with TSquared Lab on 5 Feb 2024 as I was so sick of being unfit and in pain. Just 4 days later, I met Henry and was given a thorough tour of the facility and I was particularly impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness.
The fact that the gym was just a 10-min brisk walk away from my home helped me with my decision making. I signed up quickly and started getting anxious about who will be assigned to me as my PT and also the tiring sessions that lies ahead. Fast forward 8 months later. I have lost 17kg of body weight and dropped 2 shirt sizes. All thanks to my PT, Elvis!
Towards the end of last month, Elvis messaged me on WhatsApp and did a check in with me in terms of my progress physically and mentally. The following was what I responded:
"Hey Elvis, nice touch here. Apologies for the delayed response, but I took a bit of time to give some thought to your question.
Funny enough, I just told my wife last evening about my overall physical fitness. Some context first - I was down for slightly over a week, first due to COVID then a bacterial infection that affected my eyes. During my "break", I hardly moved and I definitely was not eating right.
And finally on Wednesday (yesterday), I was finally well enough to go out for an outdoor walk. I was initially apprehensive as I was wondering how much I had fallen off the bandwagon. I ended up taking a longer walk than I had planned for and I still felt fresh after the walk. No pains. No discomfort. Quite different from what I remembered it to be.
I am talking about this because if you remember, I had initially set a low generic goal to achieve painless mobility. And while my back issues are still present, I HAVE achieved painless mobility. Beyond that, I have achieved more. And best of all, I do not feel like stopping. I stand by that I am not out to win any awards, and that I wish for sustainable fitness goals beyond anything else. But yes, I look forward to my training sessions and I have not thought about quitting my journey.
Long story short, physically, I feel great. A lot more can be done, I am aware. But I am proud of what I have achieved so far. Mentally, I feel zen and I am satisfied with my progress and pace.

Overall, I am so happy with the physical gains and losses I have made. I am so satisfied with the mental shift I have made towards fitness or health, in general. And I am looking forward to every training.

Just want to give a shout out and 5-star review to my Donkey Kong trainer, Elvis Neo! He has been instrumental in my fat-loss and fitness journey. Goals attained! Fat % went below 18% and did a pull up! Thank you Elvis and Tsquaredlab for assigning such a wonderful trainer to me. Truly blessed!
T Squared is a very professionally run gym. The owners are lovely and the space and equipment is terrific. I personally go there for Aadhi’s yoga classes and she is one of the best yoga teachers in Singapore. I’ve tried many of the trendy yoga studios, but nothing beats learning from a teacher who spent years studying the traditional form of yoga in India. Highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoying my training here. The gym is spacious, equipment is new and well maintained, there are cosy corners before/after workouts to just relax, have a coffee or do some work if you need to. And the best part - the people - my trainer Zaki is extremely disciplined and logical in his approach. I asked for a trainer who can push me progressively and he’s just that. Afshan (the founder) keeps the mood cheerful at all times, and delights you with her healthy and tasty recipes (the protein waffle was such a simple and amazing idea !). Keep it this way team TSquared Lab !!
Zaki, my trainer, is very professional and attentive.
1. Active monitoring. He assured me that it was an active partnership where we both work together to achieve my fitness goals. He actively monitors, and I stick with diet plan. Not all trainers do this at the outset, and I can sense his determination to see this through.
2. Maintain proper form. He is strict in ensuring I maintain the proper form during exercise. Again not all trainers maintain that discipline to keep an eye on their clients. Also explained how specific form would impact which muscles, and constant checked in to see if the right muscle groups were being engaged.
3. Holistic approach with food focus. He explained the relationship between food portions vs macro nutrients ingested, and also explained how to properly apply this. This is the first time I have a trainer (zaki is the 4th one after 3 trainers I discontinued training with) focus on diet too. Also "don't feel weird if I ask how your day went" - stress, emotions, diet and sleep are all critical components.
4. Good humour, encouraging and careful in looking out for potential injuries. Makes me feel rather excited in journeying together.

Wana is an outstanding personal trainer that I have met during my training with T Square Lab. She is well-prepared for my sessions and have a deep understanding of various exercises, nutrition, and how to tailor workout to my specific needs. She always maintained a positive attitude throughout my training.
I have been practicing yoga for more than 10 years but got stuck at a certain level with little progress. After coming to Aadhi’s class, she keeps pushing my limits and show me a different way to practice. It is very focus on building up muscle strength and stamina. I really enjoy every class is different, providing different challenges. Apart from being able to do those difficult poses like tripod or forearm stand, the real benefit is full body toning and better connection of my body and mind. Highly recommend!
I have visited to T2lab to take a look when I was looking at gym near the MRT of labrador park. I like to commend the goal-oriented service given by their personal trainer Hong Wei. I have trained with him and he recommended me a simple programme that tailored to my needs. It was clear that it was customised and not one of those run of the mill program. In my past experience with him, I have learnt about my anthropometry as he rightfully pointed out my hip retroversion and that my feet has to point outwards during squats. He also taught me the importance of set up and end range for each exercise movement. I could feel the difference immediately during a lats pulldown when my setup is fine-tuned. His expertise on nutrition was also top notch as he easily taught me what are my macro distribution and how to simplify it for muscle building. Definitely recommend Hong Wei for his coaching skills and sport science knowledge.
Worked with Hong Wei for 2 months already. 3 times a week. He is extremely knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. learnt a lot from him. During excercise his coaching is encouraging. I can see my strength and energy improving steadily over the due course

Fantastic yoga instructor who is very knowledgeable and has helped me a lot. Very peaceful, clean and well maintained studio.
I order the pre made meals from TSQUARED and it’s absolutely delicious and i get to eat good low calorie healthy food everyday 🥰🥰🥰
