I have been a customer at Kiu for about 1.5 years, and have gotten 4 haircuts now… This is an honest review coming from a girl that (apparently) has an unusual hair texture and high standards—also a dislike of hair salons hard-selling on products and have hidden (cost) services. Having too much trust issues along with bad haircuts over the years, I genuinely LOVE Kiu and shoutout to Kah Theng for being the most amazing hair stylist! I always leave with great hair, a big smile, and some extra knowledge & confidence on how I can take care of my hair better. Transparent fees, educational talks (of course if you want any), and just feeling great overall are just some key things you leave Kiu with. I have even brought a friend and she was very satisfied with her haircut. Thank you Kiu Team!!

5 star review for Sally the manicurist at this hair salon. She is really good meticulous, does not try to upsell you anything and gives you what you want. I have been finding for a good manicurist near my new place in the east since I shifted, but had bad experiences. I will definitely come back to her for my nails when I need too! Thank you for making my hands look pretty!

Kason has been caring for my hair for many years. He seeks perfection in doing my hair and will always take the effort to ensure I look my best. I appreciate that he also plans ahead for us and ensures that my hairstyle is suitable for my lifestyle at the moment. Really thankful that I have found a stylist that takes such great care of my hair. I have been doing post pregnancy hair loss treatment at the salon as well and it is such a treat! I would like to share my review for my amazing hairstylist, Kason and his team - Bibi and Janice at Kiu Hair Gallery. I've been a happy customer for over six years now, and continued to follow him when he ventured out and started his own salon in 2021. From day one, he has consistently impressed me with his talent and friendly approach. Whether it's a simple cut or a bold change, he nails it every time. In addition to being an exceptional hairstylist, my go-to salon has introduced nail services, with the incredible manicurist/pedicurist - Sally. This has taken my salon experience to a whole new level of pampering. Sally is great and attentive, I’ve just started my nail services with her for the last 3 visits and has been looking forward to it every single time. Having both hair and nail services in one place has been incredibly convenient, making my self-care sessions even more enjoyable. I'm genuinely impressed by the seamless integration of nail services into the already stellar salon experience. Thank you to Kason, Bibi, Janice and Sally for taking care of self care needs.

Personally I never had to think about what hairstyle or which hair color to go for as Kason would also plan ahead on the hairstyle to go for based on the phase of life I’m in and the subsequent haircuts would give a new fresh look! Been patronizing Kason since 2008 (Yes, 13 years since poly), following him from Century Square to Tampines 1 and now to a place of his own, KIU Hair Gallery at Changi Business Park. I am a very picky person and I always feel insecure and scared when someone cuts my hair because I couldn’t trust that he/she would do a good job, so I would stare at them throughout the haircut. Like every poor students, I used to cut my hair at neighbourhood salon and to be honest, getting an expensive haircut in a shopping mall does not mean you will get a very skillful hairstylist too. High price tag definitely doesn't always mean high quality. I'm sure there are people who experienced this before 🤷‍♂️ But after seeing my secondary school classmate's hair was nicely cut by Kason who worked at Century Square in 2008, I decided to give him a try, and the rest is history 😁 Kason is a perfectionist, and he is also very meticulous. He does not rush to finish a haircut and he always spend time to check to ensure the haircut is perfect, which is something I really like about him. He is a very open-minded person who does not force his ideas onto you. He will give you a clear picture of what he will do to your hair based on his experience and if you are not comfortable with the change or idea, he is always happy to adjust to your needs! After each appointment, he will know and understand your taste and your level of acceptance. Happy hair, happy customer! 😀👍 If you are thinking about changing a hairstylist, trying a new place or style up your hair to look good for an important occasion/event, Kason is definitely the person you can count on and go to!
