Vincent is my hairstylist and he is simply the best. He has the natural flair and gift such that given any picture sample, he is almost always able to achieve 95% accuracy. I have been his customer for the past 1 year and have recommended 3 others to him. We are all very happy with his service!

Tom has been my hairstylist for more than 3 years and it's still counting! I always had hard time to get somebody to handle my stubborn hair, until I met Tom. Finally decided to cut my frizzy naturally curly hair short after trying to grow it long unsuccessfully for the past 3 years. Went for a wash and blow on a walk-in. I was greeted and attended to by Sunny. She was extremely warm and lovely. I think what makes this Salon special is how happy all the staff were, despite it being a busy period in view of CNY. Although I was initially not convinced with the hair wash process happening directly at the basin as opposed to being on seat, it was one of the best scrub I've had. Thanks Sunny!

Had a cut and colour done here many months ago. Lured by the high ratings and positive reviews and booked an appt with a male stylist who has been mentioned multiple times by others. 3 stars because it was an average experience. The colour turned out well and the overall result was satisfactory. However, even though I went on a weekday afternoon, the salon was packed. Different stylists were dyeing and washing my hair, and while the original stylist I booked did cut my hair, he spent at most ten minutes doing so as he was shuffling between multiple other clients. Again, while the results were satisfactory, and that could probably attest to his expertise, the service felt impersonal and rushed - thats my main gripe. It was also suggested to me to do treatment multiple times, which was annoying.

Is my time 1st trying out my experience at The base salon using high end products like Milbon from Japan. I get to know him Senior Stylist Director Tom Tam when i was just passerby the salon to check on Digital perm pricing so he did attend and pass to me his name card to book an appointment first. Can see he is very experienced, knowledgeable, fast yet professional service that he gave to all his clients. I’m so so lucky he can squeeze me in as now, coming closer to CNY a busy day for him back to back high tight his appointment. I will surely come back to look for him again for his professional touch. Very friendly guy who cares a lot about my hair condition as i have fine & dry hair is not easy to handle. But, he did a very good job trying his best to look good for me. Highly recommended👍🏻

I’ve been perming my hair with Ivan since 2016 and he never fails to disappoint. I can always trust my hair in his hands and even after so many perms through the years, my hair still feels healthy and lush. My main hair concern is a lack of volume and the perms that Ivan designs for me always address that. The perms also last really long (>6 months), especially if you alternate it with maintenance cuts and treatments in between perms! The staff at the salon isn’t pushy and the environment is comfortable. Always a good time here with Ivan around 😊

The barbers in the shop give people a very modern impression with their clothes and hair styles. There are many barber shops in Clementi Center. This barber shop is quite unique. The barber shop is located next to the Clementi Center bus interchange station. It is very lively with people coming and going.
