Mae was very responsive when I was trying to book a haircut with her. The studio was clean, bright and relaxing. Mae’s professional, warm and friendly. I enjoyed our chat and the amazing haircut she gave me. She listened to what I wanted from my haircut and delivered excellently while providing her input throughout. Chance brought me into this hair studio - to be exact, it was the very inviting staircase that attracted me up to the studio! The space is clean and filled with natural light (and plus point - it does not smell of hair products) As it was my first professional haircut in 3 years, Mae was great! she gave concise inputs and took care at every step of the cut - now my hair feels so smooth and light :) More than the haircut and wash, I enjoyed our chat - to be continued in my next visit!

Clean and chill environment. Mae was meticulous and polite. She was spot on regarding the issues I had with my previous haircut done elsewhere and did not hard sell any treatment nor product. I was recommended by my friend when she was still at a neighbourhood salon. Not long later we lost contact because she left her workplace. I'm not exaggerating when I say fate brought us back together when I bumped into her at a shopping mall. We reconnected and started cutting at her home living room hall. Back then, her living room wasn't even a studio yet. Many years passed and I'm still going back to her because she's really good with what she's doing. She’s always on trend and constantly upgrading herself through courses. My hair is always in her good hands 🙌 even my mom is a convert! I call her 髮神 (hair goddess)! Would definitely recommend her!

This is my 2nd visit to The Living Room Hair Salon. First visit was a simple hair cut and I knew I found the right hair stylist! This time came for cut and colour. Wanted something reddish brown for CNY and was absolutely satisfied with the results! Mae would engage with small talks and the place is really cosy and comfortable. Was my first time at the living room hair salon. And my first experience was great. When I reached there the lady boss was super friendly with me. It was not a very big salon but to me just the right size to cut our hair. Throughout the whole hair cut session the lady boss will chat with me and talk to me about my hair and slowly explain to me how she is going to cut my hair so that it will suite me as I told her that I am letting her decide on which hairstyle I should cut as I have no opinion on any style. I kept on asking her question about my hair and she is very patience on answering my question. Overall it was a good experience and i feel very comfortable cutting at her salon. The whole vibe was very good and the price is acceptable and not expensive. It is only 25$ for a men's hair cut. Will recommend you guys to give it a try if you wants to get your hair cut. Will definitely go back for my hair cut next time. 👍

I came here after searching on the internet for an hour. It was the first hair salon I went to since coming to Singapore, and it was my favorite salon in my entire life. I've been to a lot of hair salons, but unlike in Korea, I really liked the sincerity I felt.

People who dye hair here will analyze their hair very carefully with customers, especially when bleaching the hair roots, it will not hurt the scalp. In the past, bleaching in other places would hurt... The environment is very comfortable. Dyeing hair there is natural because there are no other things. Show up with guests. Highly recommended!
