I had an amazing experience at YP Unisex Hair Salon! Not only is it affordable, but the warmth and friendliness of everyone there truly stood out. I had trouble finding the block, and they went above and beyond by offering to pick me up – such thoughtful service! Both the salon boss and her daughter were incredibly kind and welcoming. The lady boss’s daughter even noticed I was holding my phone while watching a movie and offered me a phone stand – how sweet and considerate is that? Joanna, who did my hair, was absolutely wonderful. I usually dread salon visits because some hairstylists make loud, embarrassing comments about my hair in front of others, but Joanna was so gentle and respectful. She did an excellent job with my hair color and treatment, all at such a reasonable price. This was definitely not my last visit! Highly recommended for anyone looking for great service, kind people, and affordable prices. YP Unisex Hair Salon is truly a gem!!!

Today was the most amazing day ! After years of not colouring or dyed my hair. Today is the day for me to make a change for my black hair. I was served by hairstylist by the name joanne. I showed her the pictured of the highlighted hair that i wanted. Mostly hair salon, especially on highlight. The highlight will do the bigger highlight as the hairstylist wanted to be fast. BUT JOANNE do my highlight was what i wanted. She very very detailed on those highlights. Turn out it was so AMAZING !!! The best hair Salon. The price that i paid worth my money. Thank you so much Joanne!!!! 💓

Finallyyy a salon that gave me the exact perm that I requested for!! And at a reasonable price of $200 too! Xin (together with the help of his colleagues) served me from 5 to almost 9pm. They were really dedicated, attentive and their care for the quality of their craft really shows. The lady boss even wanted to offer me fruits cos she was concerned I would be getting hungry which is not expected but appreciated. Would go back again!

I found YP thru Google while searching for a good stylist in Marsiling area. Its rating of 4.9/5 piqued my interest as that means many satisfied customers. And so today, I walked in. It was a little busy as there were some customers waiting for their turns. But the staff immediately found 2 seats for my partner and me to sit. I had to wait about 20min before Joanne attended to me. While waiting, all the stylists who passed by would smile at me, making me feel welcomed. Before the cut, I asked Joanne a few questions regarding my face shape, hair length and if I should have bangs. She was very patient and her answers were all good suggestions. I watched her cut my hair and she displayed the professionalism of an experienced hairdresser with swift movements. There was absolutely no hard selling of any products while the soft-spoken Joanne and I chatted during the whole period. I had read some comments here stating the place being "filthy". I beg to differ from such a strong and unjust description. The place is like many heartland hairdressing salons in the 80s - vintage in its own way. The place is a little unkempt and the floor was full of hair (cos they are all busy attending to customers) but not at all dirty or "filthy"! It is a straightforward hairdressing salon that charges very reasonable prices but provide great hair services! In fact, Joanne is by far one of the best hairstylists I've ever come across! Having experienced many of those salons at shopping malls that charge exorbitant prices albeit classy environment that offer drinks and snacks, I haven't actually found one stylist that is good enough for me to want to stay loyal to. But today, I've found her. Definitely going back for keratin treatment and hair colour! Thank you Joanne, with the great cut!! My partner also complimented that I looked fresh and younger! Update 6April24: Just done my keratin treatment by Joanne. Very satisfied👍 with the result at such affordable and reasonable price! Made an appointment prior and so no waiting needed even though the salon was super busy!

My go-to hair salon since last year when I found out about this place from my aunt. There's a separate section for hijab wearers and the owners are very friendly. Prices are also very affordable < $100 for full head colour. And their treatment are always affordable. Have been coming over for my hair cut, treatment and colour will always come back!

First time here. Did wash, cut & treatment only for $55 which is such a steal. I forgot to ask for the hairdresser’s name, but she’s very nice. This will be my go-to salon from now on. 👍🏻

tried out this place for the first time today from the reviews, and super loving my new look!! if you ever come here knowing what u want, it’s best to show pictures to get the best results. they’re super attentive to your hair, face shape etcetc and will share opinions with you before proceeding with anything too.
