I requested for a slot urgently at 8am in the morning. The staff replied quickly and managed to give me an early slot with Dr Leong that very same morning. Dr Leong scheduled all the necessary tests and went above and beyond by personally following up with the relevant departments on the tests / results. The tests and consultations were completed in a morning, which was very efficient. Dr Leong and his clinic staff are friendly. His consultation fee is also reasonable.

As usual, Dr Leong is efficient and gives practical and frank advices. Dr Leong did a gall bladder removal for me back in Jan’20 (just pre covid). Suppose to be a quick one hour key hole surgery but it span to almost 4 hours due to complication but he still pushed on to do a key hole surgery instead of just a convenient “cut”. Been grateful cos otherwise I would not have a short recovery timing. Thanks!

Dr Leong is very committed, he drop by for in-patient check every single day including PH, Saturday and Sunday! He was able to give accurate information and is a wise adviser. Dr Leong is very confident and optimistic doctor, he was relatable and empathetic. He fought till the last minute before he serve me a memo to postpone my travelling plan as I undergo a day operation and took longer than average to recover. I have been suffering from grade 3 hemorrhoids for years, and after I went for an endoscopy with a gastroenterologist, who did a ligation on me during the scope, it got worse, leaving me with a lot of pain. So I had to find another doctor for help and I am so very glad to have found Dr Leong. His support team was very responsive, and I was able to make an appointment with him on the same week itself. After Dr Leong checked on my condition, he patiently laid out all the options available for me, allowing me to make an informed decision. I decided to go for haemorrhoidectomy. Mother had suspected early cancer detected through colonoscopy. Dr Leong recommended immediate surgery that day to remove part of the colon. Surgery was done. Recovery was good and fast and relatively pain-free. Dr Leong provided good care throughout. Mother left hospital less than 72hrs after surgery. Subsequent biopsy/histology report confirmed early cancer. Overall, process was quick and efficient and Dr Leong was decisive in his consultation with my mum, giving her peace of mind.

Dr. Leong is a very dedicated Surgeon who takes pride in his work. He is very efficient and provides both the diagnosis and treatment very effectively. I was warded in Mt. Elizabeth Novena A&E with obstructive jaundice due to a gall bladder/bile stone issue. I had done an MRI and the physician gastroenterologist in charge of me told me I had a packet of gallstones and I should "google gall bladder removal" in order to decide on getting the surgery done. I was in extreme pain and did not trust this physician. I called Dr. Leong at 2:30pm in the afternoon, and he came down to the hospital to see me at 4pm. He patiently explained the situation to me in detailed layman terms and the recommended form of treatment. There and then I decided to do the gall bladder removal surgery with Dr. Leong and he did the surgery at 7:30pm that evening. However, post the surgery, I had a gallstone lodged in my bile duct. Dr. Leong once again showed duty of care by arranging that I be warded in Mt. Alvernia at my request, and also the ERCP surgery to remove the gallstone. Dr. Leong embodies what most of us require in a specialist: skilled, effective, takes pride in his job, and very succinct. He is also genuine, personable and patient to address any queries you have. I would highly recommend him to family and friends looking for a gastroenterologist surgeon.

Thank you so much Dr Leong for the early detection of my tumour, removing it swiftly and saving my life. It takes a while for the thought of having a malignant tumour to sink in, and by the time I realised how dangerous it is, it is already removed. Dr Leong was probably more concerned about my health than I was myself, as I didn't realise how dangerous the tumour was. His response to operate and remove the malignant tumour immediately after its discovery is highly appreciated. The operation was painless and by the next morning, I was out of the hospital and felt normal as if nothing happened. Dr Leong and his staffs also helped me to get a speedy letter of guarantee from my medical insurer so the danger could be removed without any delay. All in all, I feel lucky. Things may turn out very differently for me had I not gone to see Dr Leong early. Thank you.
