Reviews of Beloved Bumps Singapore
We attended the Beloved Bumps prenatal classes and thought the sessions were great and very informative, especially being a first time mum, it's great to go through all the processes, which differ from the UK. Tash, Jess and the team are fantastic at what they do, always on hand to answer any questions and provide support outside sessions. It was also a great way to meet other parents to be and build your mummy network. Additionally, been going to the prenatal exercise classes, loving then! Highly recommended! Thanks ladies! xx
The beloved bumps class run by Natasha gives a really great overview of different parts of labor and first steps taking care of a newborn! The classes are informative, well structured and really fun at the same time! Natasha made sure we had some interactive activities were we could practice stuff like breast feeding and bathing a newborn.
She also provides great online resources after the class which you can refer to like a birth plan template, what to pack in your hospital bag etc.
We met lots of lovely other couples there who were still in touch with!
Highly recommend this class
I was so lucky to be recommended Sally Connell as a Lactation Consultant early on in my feeding journey. She provided me with great in home support and support via Whatsapp. When advising us, she took into consideration both our baby's well being and the. mental well-being of both myself and my husband. If you are looking for someone to truly support you, and not push you, then I highly recommend Sally!
Excellent prenatal classes and parent network building. We attended the classes and loved the relaxed, unbiased style of them. As first time parents, we felt we could ask any questions. We also LOVE the social aspect of BB, and have found the network of parents from our classes to be incredibly valuable with late pregnancy and newborn stage. Jessie and Tash are super in teaching and after support, highly recommend.
We had fantastic experience with BB and Charlotte! Charlotte is an amazing doula and I can't imagine how we would have done it without her — she has been available at all times even before the delivery started, shared a lot of tips, shown great support and dedication throughout labour/delivery and our first days with the baby. Charlotte genuinely cares about positive outcomes and overall experience. We are really grateful - thank you! We have also attended pre-natal classes which were really informative, interactive, fun and enabled us to connect with other parents. We loved how all the sessions were inclusive & relatable for both mums and dads. I couldn't recommend Charlotte, Tash and her team more! Thank you so much again.
As first-time parents, we are so grateful to Tash & her team for helping to prepare us for parenthood. Their unbiased and practical advice allowed us to make well-informed decisions about the birth and care of our baby, and we appreciated being able to access the Beloved Bumps' network of specialists and tap into their wealth of knowledge and experience. We also enjoyed the social gatherings organised by the Beloved Bumps team, which allowed the parents-to-be to get to know each other better and bond. We love being a part of this wonderful and supportive community of fellow mums and dads, long after the antenatal classes are over!
My little one used to wake up 7 times at night and only nap in the stroller. And now, She is sleeping on her own so well for both nap and night sleep. I can’t believe it only took her a few days to learn. Thanks to Annika for her help!
I found her through my friends’ recommendation. She is so patient, informative, and encouraging. Annika gave you a generous amount of support and followed up, which you really need that when you sleep train your baby. I used another two sleep trainers earlier, but they made you feel like they are timing you like a busy lawyer. Sleep training could be very stressful more to the mother than the baby, so getting some emotional support and hands on support from a loving sleep trainer would be a great help.
My lesson here is an older trainer doesn’t mean better, nor the amount they charge equal to their service level or the result you will get. Talk to your potential sleep trainer for 5 mins over the phone before you commit to hire one.
I did a lot of research on different prenatal classes and am so glad we chose Beloved Bumps. The classes are fun, informative and social. Tash is super knowledgeable and gives down-to-earth advice. I feel so much more comfortable and prepared for whats ahead and now have some expectant Mum friends!
Annika support nurse was amazing and a huge turning point for me in my recovery and confidence in being a first time mom. She was available for any and all questions no matter the subject and also listened closely to give me advice I wouldn’t have considered but were huge for helping me recover emotionally and physically faster. I would recommend her and beloved bumps to anyone I know here in Singapore, first time mom or not.
Strongly recommend this workshop. A good mix of theory and practice. You can’t beat face to face teaching and the chance to ask questions or get clarification so if you’re on the fence, I say go for it. I’ve got a lot more confidence and alleviated some nerves. Thanks !
I honestly don't know how I would have managed pregnancy and the post birth period without the support of the wonderful people at Beloved Bumps.
From the highly informative prenatal classes to the warm, expert support of the midwives, fitness instructor, and lactation consultant, my Husband and I felt that even with the Corvid isolation and being separated from our families we could handle whatever challenges came our way.
Breastfeeding especially proved tricky, even after a fairly straightforward start, and I cannot stress enough how much of a relief it was to have Sally and Natasha to help me work through the issues - seriously, don't struggle alone!
If you or someone you know is expecting, get them to check out Beloved Bumps. Whether you are looking to educate yourself, find expert support, or simply get in touch with other expecting mothers/couples this service has it all.
We booked Sally to come to our house to provide lactation support. She was fantastic and is such a lovely, patient person. She showed us a number of different positions to make our baby feed more comfortably and answered lots of other newborn related questions. After the visits, Sally was extremely supportive and happy to take calls whenever we had further issues. Sally really goes above and beyond to help with feeding challenges, you can tell she loves helping new mums find their way with the feeding minefield!
Beloved Bumps has been amazing for my husband and I - we did the antenatal course, first aid course, introducing solids, Postnatal course and
Not only is the information current and extremely useful, it’s delivered in an interactive and fun way and we have met some wonderful other parents through beloved bumps embarking on the same new adventure, which has been so brilliant.
I also did pre natal yoga with Laura and post natal core with Anna and then Cata, which were highly enjoyable and really worked wonders.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to Annika Russell for all her help on introducing solids and sleep in particular and also for conducting helpers first aid for our new helper. Annika has given so much amazing advice on sleep that has helped no end with our daughters journey. Annika was constantly there at the drop of a worried text regarding my daughters sleep. She knew exactly what to say and how to help and the first time I asked for advice on helping my baby to get a longer lunch nap in - her knowledge literally gave her a 2 hour nap of dreams! Such peaceful solid sleep, compared to her previous hysterics after 1 hour.
Annika gives personalised, intuitive options for all stages, how to settle your baby, including when to drop the afternoon and then morning nap and how, and we are grateful for her knowledge and expertise. I would 100% recommend her excellent services, as well as joining beloved bumps for all of their courses.
Highly recommend Tash and her amazing team at Beloved Bumps. I found my ‘mum tribe’ at her famous Tuesday coffee mornings and was so grateful for her honest and comforting approach. When my second baby arrived I was so thankful to have Tash do a home visit and talk me through my birth and check on our baby which was definitely missing when I had my first child and didn’t know about Beloved Bumps!! A must for any first time, second time or third time mum looking for a bit of support.
Fantastic antenatal class that made sure we were as prepared as we ever could be for the birth and caring for baby. The classes are very objective, practical and fun (the guys get beer). The prenatal exercise class was great to give us exercises we could do all the way up to birth. Tash has provide great support for us all after the birth too. Would highly recommend.
I cannot recommend Beloved Bumps and Natasha highly enough to other mums-to-be. She was brilliant. The classes were excellent and it was good to have an unbiased and fully informed view of what happens, the options on pain relief, labour etc. It was also really useful to have the ability to ask questions before/afterwards and contact Natasha to help with any problems. She was really informative on things like interventions and pain relief, giving the reasons behind the usage of each option rather than just what they are. We would highly recommend Natasha's class; she talked through everything in a relaxed and friendly way and we felt much better prepared afterwards. After the birth, we had problems establishing breastfeeding and spent a couple of extra nights in hospital as a result; we still hadn't established it properly when I left so gave Natasha a call. Within a couple of hours, we were breastfeeding successfully! Thank you Natasha!
Great and professional service that feels like friends and family. Really liked the antenatal classes, informative and made me feel much calmer about the whole process- what to expect during the labour as well as after and plenty of helpful tips. I also had Tash visit me 3 times after the birth which was very helpful and reassuring for me as a first time mother. Answered all my questions, checked the baby and put me at ease when i was feeling down or unsure about what i was doing. Staying in touch with the group of new mummies that attended the class was one of the best things after the course- so helpful to share tips and tricks as well as lots of new friendships! Highly recommend.
Update after using Annika and her post-partum doula services: What a great help Annika was! Not only practical but emotional. Being a new parent is hard and she helped to reassure when I needed it, being a mum herself she can very well relate and offer wide range of advice based on her experience as well as other research. Very helpful. Really recommend, especially if you are an expat without support of wider family here!
Charlotte was amazing she helped us with the many questions and newborn challenges we were having. She’s personable and highly knowledgeable and spent a couple of hours with us. Highly recommend beloved bumps for their excellent pre and post natal services.
Can’t recommend Beloved Bumps enough for first-time parents to be. We attended around the 7-month mark and learnt so much about what to expect - and now to handle it! The classes are informative, hands-on and fun. However the best part to me is the community around the course. Tash and team make you feel part of the Beloved Bumps family, with various opportunities to keep in touch so you never feel alone in your new parenthood journey.
Sally is highly motivated, passionate, very caring and very knowledgeable professional. She helped me with my newborn when i left the hospital after delivery and gave me some good breastfeeding advises and information. I'd recommend her to anyone in Singapore for brilliant support
A very friendly and informative 4 sessions prenatal course with laughs and great company all the way through.
Thanks to Tash and Jessie, I definitely feel much more confident as a soon-to-be dad. I would definitely recommend the Beloved Bumps pre-natal course to any soon-to-be parents.
When we contacted Annika, sleep consultant, our daughter was going through a terrible sleep regression, physically and mentally exhaustive. We were desperate and tried everything to calm our hysterical baby for 2 weeks. Our daily life radically changed after Annika started helping us. We are feeling blessed by her kindness, constant support, above all in time of doubt and craziness, she was believing in what we (the parents) were doing while we were about to give up. Her experience is precious and we would definitely recommend her to any desperate parent who would like to finally see their baby content again.
The team were amazing, the classes were informative and made me feel more in control of what lies ahead. It has also been easy to reach out and ask any questions from the team and I feel like I could get in touch with them if I have any worries, questions, etc.
Highly recommended pre-natal package, community and ongoing support.
My husband and I bought the pre-natal package on the back of several recommendations and have found it to be amazing value. The four 3-hour classes were highly informative and packed in as much as you can in the time available without overwhelm and laid a solid foundation for what to expect. I especially appreciated Tash’s non-dogmatic and practical take on everything - there’s so much conflicting information and advice on everything pregnancy, labour and baby related and she was really helpful in cutting through a lot of the BS! It’s been great having a cohort of mums to connect with as I’m navigating parenthood, coffee mornings to attend and Tash for ongoing advice as needed.
Particularly liked the post natal services such as the baby clinic - found it really really helpful to have professionals like Natasha to answer all my questions and clear my doubts:-)
I also highly recommend Beloved Bumps' sleep consultant, Annika Russel. She is absolutely lovely and her advices to get my little one to nap better and sleep longer at night were simply invaluable! Thanks to Annika my baby is in a nice routine and I know what to expect and I am more confident in handling him when we have bad nights. Thank you Annika!
I can’t recommend Lactation Consultant Sally Connell more. She came out to us last minute on a Saturday night on our second day home from the hospital when I was struggling with low milk supply and latching. She was able to teach me a position and advise on pumping. In subsequent visits she continued to support us in latching challenges and more importantly helped put my anxious mind at ease about the approach we were taking ( which I think helped my milk supply and the latching process in itself). She’s super responsive and checked in with me regularly outside of our scheduled appointments, and did several phone calls with me too. You can tell she really cares about her job and I can’t thank her enough for helping me start my breastfeeding journey. Without her I think I would have been forced to give up in the second week. Thanks for al your help, Sally!
An informative workshop (“Unmedicated / Natural Childbirth Workshop”) in a fun and encouraging environment. Really appreciated the demonstrations and hands-on application of the different massage and pain reliving methods and techniques. Both Instructors were generous with their support, knowledge and experiences, and created a safe space for questions and concerns.
Annika Postnatal care - My husband and I were lucky enough to have Annika be our doula for the first few weeks after giving birth to our first child. She is super warm and personable, answered all of our questions without judgement and gave us a lot of practical advice! I'm very thankful for the very helpful guidance she provided throughout the first few weeks of parenthood and even afterwards. She really instilled a lot of confidence which is really what you need as a first time parent when you are so unsure about a lot of things from how to bathe your child to breastfeeding questions, etc. I highly recommend Annika! Thank you, Annika!!! :)
Highly recommend this class! Tash created a great atmosphere which was relaxed, friendly and informative. It totally relaxed ya about our upcoming labour/birth, and gave us lots of opportunities to ask as many ‘silly’ questions as we needed.
Tash’s warm and welcoming personality totally put you at ease, and allowed you to make new friendships too!
I hired Annika as our sleep consultant and she was great! My 4.5 month old was going through her 4 month regression and we were desperate to teach her to fall asleep independently because she was getting way too heavy to rock to sleep all the time. Annika set out a clear schedule for baby and a plan for us. It was definitely tough, as all sleep training is, but Annika supported us through the process, continuously guiding us and tweaking things to try and make it all work. Eventually my bub got it, and is now able to fall asleep on her own! The best part is, Annika is still open to answer any one-off questions or concerns that I have, even a few weeks after the end of the paid time, which I am really grateful for!
Insightful prenatal classes that were engaging, fun and set at a good pace! The team is always supportive and helpful with our concerns, my husband and I would highly recommend their services and classes. 🫶
I highly recommend the BB pre-natal classes - great for time poor soon-to-be-parents who haven't the time to read through the many parental books available. Tash & Jessie summarises everything in 4 easy classes, jam-packed with all the information you need to know in giving birth and the basics of handling a newborn. The social aspect with the classes, meet-ups and events are an additional bonus.
The Beloved Bumps Core strengthening class Post-natal run by Anna Kwan is amazing. After only 6 weeks post-partum I'm already seeing incredible results: I feel so much stronger in my mid section, my back pain is gone and my core muscles are slowly starting to show again :) Most importantly I've managed to sort out my Diastis Recti which was quite pronounced to start with. I highly recommend joining Anna's class as soon as your doctor gives you the green light to start mild exercises again !
The best pre-natal class in Singapore! Informative, fun and relaxed. We met some great like-minded people, learnt loads which helped us prepare for the arrival of our daughter, and felt really supported by Tash all the way through. Highly recommended.
Anna is a great trainer, she will completley tailor her training technique and offerring to each individual. Her knowledge on recovery post partum has been crucial to my recovery. Her knowledge of the body and how to build core strength helps recovery at any level. I highly recomend her classes with beloved bumps or 1 on 1.
Fabulous class - informative and fun! Tash is very personable and engaging. The class was a great chance to meet people that are all at the same stage and the snacks, brownies and beers went down a treat! It can be tiring on a monday evening but totally worth it. Got lots of information about what to expect for birth and met people we will be friends with for future, all expats which makes it a lot easier if you’re an expat. Highly recommend!
Annika was our post-partum doula. She visited us once a week after my delivery. Annika exceeded my expectation, I loved working with her. On the one hand she is really nice and friendly, on the other hand her knowledge is outstanding, she always answered to my questions. And being a first time mum, I had lots of questions. If you’re a new mum, having someone to support you 24/7 is priceless. Highly recommend her.
Great overview of what to expect before giving birth and of how hospitals in Singapore typically handle things. Classes are a nice, relaxed vibe and you can meet other mums/couples going through the same thing as you at the exact same time - so nice to share the experience both before and after the birth!
I had 3 sessions with Sally, the lactation consultant, which were extremely helpful. Sally is very knowledgable and supportive and she really helped me in the early weeks when I had trouble both with my supply and getting my baby to latch.
Incredibly helpful class for new dads. So Glad my Wife organised this! We learnt so much and feel much more confident going into the final scary stages. Thanks Tash & Jessie. You have both been awesome and the classes and activities were great fun!
Beloved Bumps Pre-natal course and the wonderful women who run it have been excellent at providing advice and guidance to me as a first time Mum-to-be. I cannot rate the classes and people highly enough.
Natasha and Jessie run a wonderful operation. They are confident, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and just generally great resources. We'd recommend Beloved Bumps without hesitation to anyone expecting.
The BB team are amazing - they are very experienced and knowledgeable, and they're all super responsive and friendly. A special shout out to Sally, the lactation consultant who has given such incredible support.
Sally from Beloved Bumps has been a huge support throughout my breastfeeding journey. I can’t thank her enough for helping me achieve success with breastfeeding. Thank you Sally!!
Our daugther was born on the 1st April 2020 and we could not have gone thru these unprecendent and very challenguing circuit breaker times without the help and support provided by Beloved Bumps before and after delivery. Tash and the team have been the family we could not have around us. Amazing professionals and care down to personal level. Thanks for everything!
Class was very informative and some awesome real world tips. Helps really prepare for the physical and mental journey for natural or cesarean section births.
Tash and her team are super knowledgeable... not only does she teach you what you need to know, but does a great job of creating a community among the other expecting parents... recommend!
Really helped me navigate the late stages of my pregnancy and first few weeks. Gave me not only confidence I was on the right track but also a lot of hands on support and guidance face to face and through phone. Thank you so much
Sally is warm, knowledgeable and helped tremendously with not only BF but putting my mind at ease during the stressful first few days and weeks of motherhood!
Fantastic class, and great bonding experience with other couples organised in the class as well as through social events outside!
Excellently ran program that outlines the realities of impending parenthood within a fun social environment by an experienced team... Highly recommended!
An absolute must for any first time parent especially a clueless Dad like myself. The Instructors are amazing
Invaluable content delivered in a fun and interactive way. Awesome team!!!
Highly recommend these classes!
