Reviews of National University Hospital
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank the team of Doctor Lu Jirong for performing surgery on me on the 28th August 2024 especially Doctor Tiong (he is not only handsome but sweet)who the best in uplifting my spirit. For ward 43 the nurses Akila,Emma, Ang Chee Sia,Donna, Julie and Jo-Ann thank you for the excellent care that you rendered to me. Keep up the good work girls!
Had called the hotline 69082222 one day before my CT scan thorax appointment as I wasn't sure if I need to take steroid medication as indicated in the sms details sent by NUH.
I was attended by the customer service staff, Ms Rashiqah, who tried her best to help me through my call. She took time to check the doctor's notes and told me that there was no preparation shown on the request form and even tried to call the radiology department to check for me.
I count myself fortunate to be served by a dedicated and sincere staff as I am aware that most of us won't have the so called luck to encounter great people like her.
Keep up the good work, Ms Rashiqah. Thank you so much for making the extra effort to help.
majority of staff and nurses are nice.
this rating is however pointing to their appointment hotline which seem to have been outsourced to some students who can't do anything about your need to change appointment. all they offer was to help me file a request which is quite dumb because I could do the same too online but it would take 3 working days. the only reason i called and waited so long was because i needed to change my appointment that was going to happen in 2 days.
Feedback. My mom went for a day gastroscopy procedure and was discharged at 6.30pm. She was told to get the medication from the main pharmacy which itself is a walk away in a separate building (the hospital itself is a bit of a maze). The staff at the part of the pharmacy that was open said that the meds should be obtained from the side that was already closed and that we had to come all the way back the next day just to collect the meds. If meds are dispensed it should perhaps either be collected at the point of discharge or at least the pharmacy should be open until all meds prescribed for the day are collected. Hope this can be improved.
Update. NUH have promptly responded to follow up on the matter which is a good thing.
We had our Daughter here. Absolutely fabulous service. Starting from Dr. Mary Rouff guiding my Wife all the way, during the C section great job by Dr Rouff, the surgeon accompanying her, the Nurses, the anaesthetic. We stayed here for 4 days, again fabulous care. Professional, always at hand, always felt secure with the baby at their care. I’m not commenting about food, room, linens, curtains because that’s not what we were here for. We as normal and residents of singapore came here to get the best medical care for ourselves(my Wife and our newborn) and we got the best professional medical service. Thanks NUH and thanks everyone.
Extremely high level of professionalism shown to my mother and me by all staff of NUH from nurses, doctors, therapists, porters and radiographers etc. I was very touched by the level of dedication and care that was given to my mother during her stay there after her lung surgery at NUH. A highly recommended hospital in Singapore. Many thanks to everyone at NUH!!You guys are one hell of a great team. Here is wishing you all success and many many more great years into the future.
Expect extremely long waiting times at the accident and emergency room department. Wards are hard to come by and I have waited up to 14 hours for a bed. But the specialist clinics are wonderful.
My Son was hospitalised twice there for diagnosis, Doctors are friendly and approchable .
A&E waiting time is high but the quality of service and Doctor's attitude is amasing ! wishing all the Doctors the best of health and happiness !
Prof Tan and team at NUHCS always have their patients at heart ❤️ Thank you for your professionalism.
Prof TC Lim and team were skilful in repairing my son’s cleft palate. Care from the team was good!
Entrance to Lobby B is connected to Kent Ridge station on the circle line. Cafes, restaurants on level 1, and a food court on level 5.
A sometimes crowded but excellent new hospital, with great staff and all facilities a hospital should have. There are even cafes and food outlets either within or adjacent to the hospital. The MRT station is under the hospital as well.
New wing surprisingly looks like a shopping centre more than a hospital.
Busy place. Cant complain as public hospital
Very caring nurses and doctors.
great. I came here early in the morning because I was so sick. They continued to worry about me and treat me. I will post again once I am discharged from the hospital.

I was able to receive friendly service while hospitalized. They ask about the hospital menu every day and give you what you want. Also, in my case, I had to make a lot of nurse calls, but each time they came without any sign of displeasure. Also, in situations where I had to move around, I was taken to a wheelchair. However, because it is not Korea, hospital costs are high. (Of course, prices vary depending on the treatment received.) If you do not have good overseas insurance, try to be hospitalized in Korea if possible.
Innalilahi wainnailaihi rojiun..
Has died in hospital, wife of Indonesia's 6th president.
May his deeds be accepted by you..
The place is very big and parking is not very convenient. It is quite far away. It is recommended to take the subway or take a taxi. Parking is a problem.
The staff are very professional. The environment is bright and clean.
Good hospital and best service
